Just called to check on a round trip ticket to Guangzhou from LAX. They quoted $ 22 more than what I found online. It’s not worthy it.

I went w/​this travel agency due to the review above. Unfortunately, I didn’t experience the same ‘low prices’.
In fact, when I booked 4 round trip tickets through this agency, I was quoted $ 220 higher, PER TICKET, than the rates posted on the Airline’s website.
Because I was in a rush and felt comfortable w/​the rate, I booked in a hurried state.
Big mistake. I went back a few days later to do a quick search on the Airline’s website out of curiosity (I was there to read up on checked luggage weight limitations), and found that I could have saved close to $ 1,000 had I booked directly and not through this agency.
When confronted, they quickly hung up the phone. A classic example of the quintessential SGV travel agency: all smiles throughout the purchasing process, horrendous service thereafter.
At the very least, heed this as a warning and do your research before you book!

I really recommend this travel agency for airplane tickets to China. I am a frequent traveler and have now purchased tickets here 7 out of 8 times for my trips in the last few years.
I still shop around for low prices to the MANY shops in Alhambra and Monterey Park and all but twice CTS was the cheapest. One of those I bought them somewhere else because of a $ 40 difference, and the second time I bought them at CTS anyway, because it was only $ 15 or so difference for 2 persons… and the service is just too good to balk at that small of a price difference. They have my loyalty for sure, unless for some strange reason their price would be out of line.
Side recommendation: fly Air China, and join their frequent flier program, I have had one free ticket already. They offer a non-​stop to Beijing that is cheaper than many of the ‘cheap’ connection flight airlines you may see. (no this isn’t a commercial for them, just my experience so far).
Do not go to Lai Lai Travel. Ug, horrible lady there.
UPDATE: wow, that sucks that the other reviewer had a bad experience… sorry that my review lead you to that. I really have had good experience with them and am not a ‘friend’ or employee there. My review is spot on, for the 8 times that I have tried to use them anyway. Hope this was a fluke, I don’t like referring a place only to be made look bad and have someone else have a bad experience. Next time I go, I will talk with them about it, they definitely ‘know’ me now as a customer.
