Dr. Cheng is very professional and is a one of the best dentists! He is super friendly, as well as his staff and they are always making us feel welcome no matter what we go in for, highly recommended!

Been coming here for years now. Daniel is a true professional not a hack job like some other dentist I’ve been too. He did and implant for me and it came out great. I would recommend him to all my friends.

I was referred to Dr. Cheng by one of family member since the dentist I was seeing for 9 years retired from business. The first visit to Dr. Cheng’s office for a general checkup was a very pleasant. During the same visit, he was able to identify some issues with my jaw position which explained issue i have experienced over the years. He was able to provide solution for the problem. I would highly recommend Dr. Cheng to all my family members and friends. He is very professional and knowledgeable in his field. Thank you Dr. Cheng !!!

I have been seeing Dr Cheng for more than a decade. He has been a great dentist who is always on time. I have routine cleaning, root canel, and crown works done here. He always pays great attention to details and does all the work himself. He also continue to attend post doctor study to advance himself on weekends. Great dentist!

Dr. Cheng is the only dentist I feel comfortable with. I normally fear the dentist and when I used to leave for my appointments, I would always wonder if I should just suck up the pain and cancel my appointment. This is never the case anymore, he spots all of my teeth problems and fixes them for me. I had this tooth that drove me crazy because the pain was intolerable and consistent. It took a few months to fix but it was completely worth it, my teeth have never felt better.
One thing I really like about him is that he’s still passionate about what he does (sadly, most dentists that I’ve seen don’t seem interested in what they do anymore and have changed their career into a job). He has all these cool gadgets that he uses, he has this thing that reads the color of your tooth, amazing right?!
Dr. Cheng will notice everything… and when I say everything, I mean it. He can tell if I skip flossing or brushing for one night –_​_​_​_​_​_​_​–
Also, his assistant Shirlee is great! She’s very friendly and helpful. Don’t be afraid to call :)

I’ve always had a paralyzing fear of the dentist, since the first time I went to one. To the point where I would delay a visit for AS LONG AS POSSIBLE
But Dr. Cheng and his amazing assistant Shirleen (I hope I spelled your name right!!!) changed that.
I’ve just gotten two stitches today for two extractions, and I’ve happily arranged another meeting next week.
If you want detailed service, non judgmental advice, and quick efficient dental work done, look no further.

Went here for a teeth cleaning, staff was nice and informative. Dr. Cheng is great, he answered all my questions and was very straight forward. I appreciated that he was.
Setting up an appointment was easy and they work with you schedule. I didn’t have to wait long when I arrived unlike other dentists I’ve had before.
Overall great experience with Dr. Cheng and his staff.

Dr. Cheng is by far one of the best dentist and medical professional I’ve visited. I’ve had some unpleasant experiences with dentists who are either incompetent (I got an infection from her rough cleaning), dishonest (told me I had to redo old fillings immediately), or always tardy (loooong waits)… But the whole experience with Dr. Cheng was smooth and pleasant — from the appointment scheduling, to checking insurance, to the office itself, and to Dr. Cheng himself. Great bedside manner, doesn’t try to «sell» you unnecessary treatments. I’m so glad we found Dr. Cheng and he’s close by.

Daniel Cheng is someone who is very full of himself and always criticizing other dentists. I do not want to comment on whether he is professional or not (because all I have to say about him is very negative and it’ll take up too much space), but he would always make sure to let you know that he is BETTER than all the other dentists and that’s why you should NEVER question about his fees according to him!!! A friend and I were both very unhappy with his unprofessionalism and inappropriate ethics, and we hope that our honest opinion would help the other customers.

Best dentist in sgv. Super detailed!!! I’m very particular about everything… Making my appointment, professionalism of the receptionist, how long is my wait time, and how detailed and how professional is the work. I have to say that Daniel exceeds all my expectations and more.
I am also very scared of pain, plus high anxiety really doesn’t helps things, but Daniel makes my time there seamless and I’m never afraid to go back to see him, unlike some of the dentist i’ve seen in the past.
If your looking for a very professional and someone who gets the job done correct, Daniel is the best!!!

Let me just state up front that I hate going to the dentist. In all my 37 years of life I have only had my teeth cleaned twice. My wife first went to Dr Cheng about 3 years ago and suggested I see him. Well, I have had my teeth cleaned 4 times since then which is a great compliment to Dr Cheng. Being that I am in the medical field, I am very particular in picking someone that will be stabbing me with syringes.
He is a real stand up and honest guy. Unlike most dentists, he spends the time to talk and shoot the breeze which makes things much more comfortable. We talk about everything from pool cleaners to home construction. He never seems rushed and his office is meticulous.
Great dentist! 6 stars.

Hi everyone, I really want to start off with the fact that I rarely rate on Unilocal unless a place really amazed me. The first thing I noticed was the wonderful and comforting way the rooms were designed. Dr. Cheng is by far the most knowledgable and caring dentist that I have ever been to. Before the visit. I had gone to another dentist (didnt know aboit Dr. Cheng). and this was actually for my son’s very deep cavity. The other dentist took one quick look and dismissed my son because I’m guessing he did not want to DEAL with the damage. or deal with a fussy kid. Dr cheng did not hesitate at all to reasure me that he would take care of my son. He was soooooo good with my son and extremely caring. My son ended up to be a better patient than I would ever be… lol. He did not squirm or fuss AT ALL and I give that to the professionalism of Dr. Cheng. His knowledge is beyond me and he takes all the time to explain the procedure and situation step by step making sure you are 110% on the same page. Truly amazing! Also I want to mention he has top of the line equipment and his office is sparkling clean and organized. ok this review is running long… overall it was a WONDERFUL visit. tooth all done and I am so thankful I found Dr. Cheng and his staff. Will be referring him to all my friends and family.

I have been Dr. Cheng’s patient since 2003, i.e. about 20 visits. And how come I only need those half-​a-​year check ups and nothing else? Because Dr. Cheng knows his patients so well. He carefully checks my teeth and gum every time, and so he is able to forewarn or catch the small problems and fix them right away. He has got to be the most professional dentist I have seen! It is no wonder Dr. Cheng does not need to do much advertising, because what he has is word of mouth by his patients.

Both me and my husband have been seeing Dr. Cheng for our dental care for years and we absolutely love him. He is very professional and cares a great deal of his patients. He educates us on how to care for our teeth and takes his time listening to our concerns, answering our questions and explaining the type of work he needs to perform. Also he is very calm and has a great sense of humor. His office staff is very friendly and works with us on scheduling, insurance coverage and payments. The office is clean and neat. Overall Dr. Cheng and his staff make each of our dental appointment pleasant. We highly highly recommend him.

If your like me, then you are terrified of the dentist. As a young child, the mere thought of going to see one scares me. In your head you think PAIN, but not with Dr. Cheng. After having braces taken out (young), I didn’t go to the dentist for years, unless something was wrong. Little did I know, that dental hygiene is a very important, not just medical health. I needed my wisdom teeth taken out and was referred to him by a friend. And now I’m a changed person. He is very good at what he does, attentive, meticulous, caring, and very friendly. I have no doubt in my mind that he doesn’t put 110% with each patient. I’ve been coming to Dr. Cheng for the last 9 years. I highly recommend him to anyone. I’m glad I have a set dentist to go to.
