Refreshing… Parking is a hassle… They get three stars not because of their drinks, because of their customer service. ;0(not too friendly, could be a language barrier?.. I don’t know, but… If your in a rush you’ll definitely run behind. I really like the boba and milk tea. :0)

I like the variety of choices that they have when it comes to the boba to the actual drink. I also have to give them a full 5 stars is because other locations aren’t so tasty.

Yeah, this place is no longer a Lollicup. It’s now called Tea Time. I came in today in pursuit of the Lollicup but realized this place more or less would be the same(come on… Tea Time? *ding ding*). It looks like the place just opened or something. The bar counter was like completely empty and the interior was quite plain. I’m not gonna lie, I’m kinda bummed that I ended up paying $ 4.34 for a regular sized taro milk tea w/boba. It wasn’t bad, but definitely not worth the price. The guy who took my order didn’t know the price of the drink either(and taro milk tea wasn’t even listed on the actual menu — I actually asked) — he told me it’d cost around $ 3 ish, so I was shocked when he printed out the receipt and the price crept a ways over $ 4. –_– I’ll try being nice since the place is barely getting of its own feet(from the looks of it at least) but if the prices are really gonna stay up in this range, I’m gonna opt for another tea spot when I’m in the area.

I gave this place this many stars because of the amount of times I have frequented it over the years. The big sell for me is the free wi-fi and decent amount of seating. The drinks are rather so-so, but it has a nice ambience. If I ever get drinks, I like getting slushes, but honestly they are too syrupy for me. Since it expanded its repetoire to include food, I sometimes go there for cheap($ 4) ramen or udon. Yes, these are made from packages, but they do make an effort to spruce up the dishes with veggies or egg. Some of their larger dishes come with a free green or black tea drink. Don’t get the shaved ice here… it’s not really good and is mostly ice. The fried tofu is actually pretty good(I’ve seen places mess this up before). All in all, a great hangout if you come in at the right time(before 10PM).

the slush and snow drinks taste extremely artificial. i had a tangerine snow with boba, while the gf ordered a honeydew slush. yuck…

The new name is Palace Garden Café. They still have drinks and old dishes/appetizers from Lollicup. The newly added Korean dishes are ok. Not exactly cheap, but entrée rice dishes comes with a free drink(iced green tea is a decent choice). I think their Kimbab(look like Korean style California roll) is a good value. It’s $ 4.99 for two rolls. I always order their fried tofu $ 3.65. However, it’s pricer than other Lollicup locations. I don’t like their drinks that much because it tasted mediocre and again, it’s pricer than other Lollicup locations. Overall, it’s fine. They have free wi-fi, so that’s cool. I wish they clean it up a bit(slight remodeling would be nice). The décor is from many yrs ago and since it’s under new ownership/management, they should do something to the place. There is sth I need to mention. Consumers BEWARE: Sometimes, they charge more than the price on the menu and the thing is they didn’t raise the price! I’m saying be careful because… perhaps the cashier doesn’t remember the correct prices and may over charge.(Happened to me and my brother on separate occasions). Pros: This place is open til midnight, so is the kitchen!(unlike some places where the place is open but the kitchen close early).

Prices are decent, average $ 3 for a drink. Free wi-fi, you just gotta ask for the password. Plenty of seating, about a dozen tables and a bar area with free public computers. Parking can be crowded some times. The only bad thing is that you might leave smelling like grease.

I used to come to this place often to hang out with all my friends, just sit and chill out. However, i will no longer go there. It is NOLONGERLOLLICUP. This place turned out to serve some average korean dishes like japchae and short rib rice, etc. You can get MUCHBETTER korean dishes else where for cheaper prices. Also, they all got too much oil in it even though i already told to have LESS oil! And for the boba drinks, they PRE-MADE the milk tea, milk green tea and taro milk tea, so by the time you order them, who knows if it is from last night… and the milk teas are just way too sweet! they will add water if u want less sweet. omg… For the environment, they do have wifi and couples of pc that u can use, speed is average. The place isn’t very well clean, feeling kinda old-fashion… besides, they only have outdated magazines, just in case you want to take a look at it. They have radio turning the whole time, i think it’s just boring… Overall, i would not recommend this place. I would rather go to other Tapioca or lollicups nearby, or starbucks if i want to get some coffee to wake up.

Yes, it’s cash only but who doesn’t bring cash when they go to the SGV? Isn’t it common sense that at least 50% of Chinese establishments are either cash only or have a high minimum credit card purchase policy? I agree, it’s a little bit annoying; but it seems like other Lollicups, Quickly’s, Tapioca Expresses, etc. all have the same issue. Most of the people who work there are super-fobby. The cashier that was there today spoke great English and explained various items on the menu to us. They usually play Jay Chou videos in the background and who doesn’t love Jay Chou? They also have the latest magazines in Chinese, Japanese and Korean(oh, and also English). I love flipping through the magazines to catch up on the latest gossip or to look at photos of the hottest Asian celebrities. I do agree that the prices are a bit inflated for the neighborhood but if you plan accordingly, it’s not too bad. I ordered the Special #1, which comes with a boba milk tea and an order of popcorn chicken. It was only $ 5 including tax; pretty affordable.

Oye ve! This place has horrible boba milk tea! They had a sign that said buy one large boba and get second cup for free! Great, so I asked for that and it turned out to be just that. A cup of boba! LOL, what the… so then I asked to try their new Japanese green tea and it tasted like shit! I should have given up but I really wanted a boba drink. So I thought I’d play it safe and just order the regular boba milk tea. I told him that I wanted more tea and less milk… Crap out #3! My drink ended up tasting like water… with boba!!! Argh… and what’s up with the freaking price?! $ 2.60 for a boba milk tea!!! What ever happen to 99 cents?! Waste of time AND money! Booo… Dude, I’m sticking to Boba Express next time!

Pros: — They have a customer rewards card – buy 10 drinks and get 1 free. — Very fast service. — Moderate seating area. — Price is pretty good, but not dirt cheap. Cons: — Their drinks are pre-made and are therefore not fresh. — As a result, their boba is harder and the tea is just not as good. I came here craving Jasmine Milk Tea with boba and it definitely did not compare to the one offered at the Lollicup at the Santa Anita mall. I only drank about half of it before throwing it away. My boyfriend also got a cold Almond Milk Tea and it was sort of warm and the almond taste was too strong. — Cash only. — Parking can be a bit of a fight or nuisance during regular hours.

I went here a long time ago with friends during one hot summer afternoon. It was chill and it was whatever. The drinks were okay but back then, we didn’t know better and it was whatever, just typical tapioca drinks.

Used to be my favorite place to hang out. My friends told there’s new owner bought this place last year… not so sure… Seriously, WTF $ 4 for regular boba with green tea drink… Totally OVERPRICED! No wonder this place so less people, used to be packs of people inside and outside. I’ll not come here to buy drinks unless my friends want meet here.

I am a ja-BOBAs witness… Though excited upon seeing this place in the distance, I am frankly disappointed. Why? OVERPRICED for a half decent boba drink… If I’m going to pay $ 4 for a regular sized drink, it better work miracles. Sadly it didn’t. My almond milk tea tasted so sugary and funky, I’ve decided that I was not going to pay homage to this boba place again.

This is one of my favorite places to get boba and milk tea while enjoying good company. The place itself is clean and a decent amount of tables and couches for a small place. There’s plenty of magazines in English, Japanese, and Chinese for you to peruse while you’re waiting for your drink to be served. There’s also big screen TVs for you to watch, usually with Chinese pop music on and there’s also wireless if you feel like doing your work there. I usually find parking here no problem since there’s a downstairs garage I can go to if I can’t find parking on the main level. It can get crowded at this place sometimes, so there’s times where there isn’t a place to sit. The crowd is mixed, depending what time you go in, but in my experience, it’s been a range of high school students, college students, and some older folks. Sometimes, they make mistakes on my drinks, but they’re really cool about replacing my drinks promptly. Overall, it’s a great place.
