I did facial deep cleaning and whitening with Nancy. The products she used suck! The towels smell like shit. Everything here is very dirty. My face got reddish for two days, but afterwards found NO CLEANING at all. A waste of money and time. DO NOT GO!

Been here only 2 times but 2 times too many.
They always take forever (around 1h30) just for a gel manicure that’s done mediocrely. Definitely do not come here if you’re on a time crunch!

Don’t know why the review is so high. My friend and I have manicure and pedicure with different ladies but both get hurt and bleed because they cut the cuticle too deep. When the lady cut my nail and she saw it bleeds… She still intend to cut it more. I told her to stop because it’s too painful. I have lots of manicure and pedicure before. It’s not normal if they make you bleeds… one toe bleeding might be accident… But three toes bleeding proves there are unprofessional. Now I’m worry about my toes get infected.

I LOVED going here for my eyebrow threading but after today I will never come back. I will try keep this review simple and to my point.
I came roughly 11am today (Saturday May 7^th, 2016) for my threading. Zareen has always done an amazing job with my eyebrows before but today I felt she was a little distracted the moment I walked in. Right behind the threading station, most of the women that work there were chating in Vietnamese about food/​travel (which I understood since I’m half Vietnamese & fluent) which was inviting but I really felt like it distracted Zareen with my threading from a small giggles inbetween my session.
I didn’t notice it right away when I had paid and walked out till I got in my car and did a closer look in my mirror that my left brow noticeably is a lot thinner and arched higher than my right brow. It annoyed me a little then but today was my first day off in a while so I had to run errands. Got home and double checked again and I just want to cry and feel so sad that the shape is totally not what she normally does for me which was a simple clean up and I like them a little thick (which now thinking about it, she didn’t even ask me how I wanted them done like she does each time.)
This happened once at a different salon & that took months for it to grow back evenly. I’ve even tried doing my normal eyebrow routine of just filling them in with a shadow and it still looks too thin and arched for my liking.
I’m so sad. I’m sorry Zareen but I have to look for someone else now :(

So according to my check-​in history, I was here 8 days ago. I’m getting an ingrown toenail, thanks to the lady doing the exact OPPOSITE of what I asked. I said, «Ok to trim skin, but DO NOT trim the sides of my toenails,» she says ok and then she immediately cuts off the right side of my right big toenail with the cuticle nippers. I said, «And that is EXACTLY what I asked you NOT to do.» The manager/​owner heard this and corrected her in Vietnamese, but sadly the one side that she cut is starting to grow in already and is getting infected.
Sigh. Are there ANY nail shops out there with employees who will understand my requests before they cause problems that will require medical intervention? This is ridiculous.

Binky and I came to kill some time during our TWO hour long wait for Gen. Binky suggested that we both get pedicures during our wait and a quick Unilocal search brought us to this little nail salon.
We entered the nail salon around 5:50PM (they close at 6:00PM) and yet, two of their wonderful nail technicians STILL took us in. WOW, honestly, had it been me, I’m not sure I would have done the same. I was very impressed and pleased by their diligent and kind customer service.
Their nail polish selection was absolute PERFECTION. Besides the regular OPI polishes, this location also carries CND polishes. I LOVE CND polishes (usually I can only find them on Amazon) and this is the FIRST salon I’ve ever encountered that offers them for no extra charge (they are supposed to stay on longer than regular polish, thus many salons charge an additional cost). THIS alone would have given them FIVE stars.
From START to FINISH, the ladies were impeccable in their service to us. Binky works out a LOT and his toes are black/​blue and falling off (sorry for the TMI) — therefore, it is really hard for him to find nail technicians willing to work on his feet. Not only were these ladies professional (put Binky at ease about his feet), they were so personable and talkative. Binky and I watched The Big Bang Theory with them, chatted, and laughed for one and a half hours. We had SUCH a good time and we were so pleased with the results.

Went in for manicure with gel polish with French tips. Cost me $ 33. Nails all messed up. I’m never going there again for any service.

Only 12 dollars for a manicure! Such a good deal and I’ll definitely be going back for other services as well.

My sister brought me here to try out where she has been getting her nails done. We walked in and they seated us down right away. Kim and the owner (I assume) were very nice. I asked Kim to file my nails into a coffin shape and she did such a great job. I’m in love! I chose a color that came out really nice and satisfied with! I only wish that they have more colors and the purple /​grey nude color I’ve been wanting to paint. They didn’t have it unfortunately. I’m definitely coming back though !

Took their time, didn’t get cut, and the massage was awesome! I’ve come here a few times since they opened and it’s always been a great experience :)

This is my new go to nail salon when I’m lazy to do my own and want to spoil myself & since its down the street from my house, it’s a plus. When you first walk in, you get greeted & they’ll ask what you would like done. What I’ve gotten done here are manicure, pedicure, Brazilian wax.
They have a big selection of OPI nail polishes with Essie, China Glaze & some other good brands.
Tip: check into Unilocal & unlock a 10% discount on your tab of $ 25 & up. They accept credit cards. & if you’re going to come here often, ask for a STAMP CARD.
Manicure: ¹⁰⁄₁₈ was my first time getting a Mani here I just got the basic manicure for $ 12 w/​the OPI Infinite Shine polish which was an extra $ 3. (I wasn’t informed it was that much extra) regular opi polish is flat rate of 12 unless you choose a different package.
My nails are naturally long and I had her refiled my nails to coffin shape. Love it! Really good at cleaning the cuticles & clipping off the extra skins. Got my short hand massage & painted my nails. See pictures for results.
Pedicure: I have gotten a handful for pedis here & I only like 1 lady because I love how she cleans.(forgot her name. I’ll post when I find out) Especially when you have ingrown or just them side stuff that some people don’t like to clean off. She’s really gentle and soft with her work but still gets the great feeling of having your toes pampered. My last pedicure here was ¹⁰⁄₁₅.
Brazilian Wax: not too much of a privacy when your getting waxed here because it’s not an actual room but one of them fold out walls with an opening top. Doesn’t bother me but just an fyi. They use the honey/​sugar wax with the pull out strips. Very fast & gentle I can say. I’ll be back when I decide to not do it myself for sure.

I’ve been going to this salon for about 6 months & have had pedicures, manicures, gel-​mani, & threading done. I’ve been very happy with the services, & they’re definitely one of the better salons in North San Jose. I had my first ever brow threading here, and the esthetician did a better job than any brow wax I’ve had, plus she was quick! The ladies who work here are friendly, and even convinced my husband to get a pedicure They do get busy at lunchtime during the week since they have lunchtime specials, and seem to have clients right before they close on the weekends, so I have learned to call ahead to see what the wait is. Overall, they don’t make you bleed around your cuticles, they do a good job with polish, & they’re nice people… pretty rare to find around town.

I was introduced to waxing at a very very young age. Because of this, I’ve been to countless salons for waxing. Most salons don’t use the right wax and I will tend to have an allergic reaction. Others will use hard wax that leaves residue and is impossible to get out. Others pull in wrong directions or are too rough and leave my skin bleeding and have caused more ingrown hairs.
I have been waxing for so long because I haven’t been to a place that waxes correctly (and by correctly I mean seeing a decrease in hair growth) – until I came here. I have been waxing with Aisha and Zareen for about 9 months and and I’ve only had to go to them a few times. I actually notice a HUGE decrease in hair growth. It’s amazing!
In addition to that, Zareen and Aisha are incredibly nice people who make you feel welcomed every time you come in. They often strategize with each other to figure out how to help me reduce the number of ingrown hairs that have been caused by other waxers. They use wax that is removable by water. They change the wax with each customer and wash out the holder each time.
I am now a usual and come here for any waxing needs.

I’ve been coming here a few times for a pedicure instead of my usual spot just out of convenience (this place is right by my house).
The times I’ve been here they were able to take me right away which is nice, and they have a good amount of nail colors to choose from. Place is clean and they do a good job. They have 3 different types of pedicures and if you don’t specify which one you want in the beginning, they will assume you will just want the basic one and not ask you (which was fine by me).
They don’t have hot stone massage or hot paraffin wax though :(
Good for a quick, clean pedicure service. $ 20 for base pedicure which includes a lotion massage.

If you’re thinking about coming here, DON’T!

I called in ahead to see if they would be able to take me. The girl said yes, best time is before 7. I get there at 6:10PM and she says ok, have a seat. 30 minutes later I had to ask how much longer the wait will be and she had the audacity to tell me 30 minutes!!! IT WAS 630 AND THEY CLOSE AT 7! YOU’RE TELLING ME TO BASICALLY WAIT FOR A WHOLE DAMN HOUR?!

There were two other people who were free, but I guess they don’t know how to thread eyebrows. I say, don’t come here, go elsewhere.

My best friend and I recently visited this nail salon just because the one I usually go to was closed on Sundays (Tina’s OPI Nails in Milpitas). Our experience there was «ehh.» The manager was surprisingly young but she was nice. The staff was nice too, but were not so professional. It kind of felt awkward when one of them, I think she was a receptionist, was just sitting down in one of the massage chairs watching TV. And the other employee was just talking about the clothes she recently bought at Forever 21 to the manager and the other employee who was working on my pedicure. Long story short… our mani-​pedi experience was pretty bad.
— The gel manicure cost $ 25. NOT WORTH IT. My friend’s gel nail polish came off the next day. My friend said that the manager seemed like she was trying to do it as fast as she could…
— The lady who did my gel manicure shaped my nail weird… I asked for square-​round and she did not do it correctly. The shape of my nails were slanted… (literally, no joke) Also, she didn’t clean it up well and there were bubbles. Again… not worth $ 25 for gel manicure.
— The pedicure costs $ 20 and it includes a lotion massage… I just feel that that is way to expensive for just regular nail polish.
— My friend and I got started on our nails (hands and feet) at the same time, but the manager finished with her before the lady I had finished mine. The lady I had took forever…
— If you want the good nail color polish brand. its an extra $ 3 (okay? I guess.)
My best friend paid for the both of us… Our total cost was $ 100 including tip.
I suggest you take your money elsewhere if you want a crappy $ 50 mani-​pedi.
Overall… Nice place. Too expensive. Service is not so great. I am not coming back here ever again. If you want better service with great end results with an affordable price, then try out Tina’s OPI Nails. This nail salon never fails me… They do such an outstanding job and have a wide variety of nail polish brands with pretty colors!!!

I got a Brazilian Wax here twice. The first time I went was for a Groupon.
The first experience was rough and it hurt. I don’t think the wax was heated enough. However the second time I went was much better! They used beeswax and no pain at all.
I’m comfortable to now say I’d come back again.

SETTING:
This place is new. They have a nice selection of OPI & China Glaze here. They did have a few Essie & Orly polishes as well. The chairs are brand new & everything is clean.
Plenty of parking in their private lot located in the Pacific Rim II plaza.
SERVICE:
I came on a Tuesday evening, an hour before closing. There was no one there and I was seated for my pedicure. I decided to go with the Deluxe Pedicure Spa. This included a salt scrub (I got cucumber), oil, hot towel, & massage for about $ 25
My manicurist, Lin (or Lynn) was very sweet! She catered to my needs 100%. She asked if the water was ok, she explained how to use the massage chair, & did small talk.
The thing I loved about her was her attention to detail. She gave me the BEST massage ever. It was nice and strong and she also did some reflexology. She massages so good it hurts! She also asked if I liked it strong and of course I said yes!
She took the time to clean and cut my nails, which was nice.
After she painted my nails, she took the time to use a brush and clean up each toe to perfection!
I can’t wait to come back here and I’m going to her only.
TIP:
They accept Credit & you can tip via card as well.

They also have a 10% off check in discount.
Their door says they’re open on Monday’s, but they have a written paper on the door saying they’re CLOSED MONDAYS.
