Started seeing Linda last October after realizing all the over the counter treatment wasn’t helping. I was super upset with my skin and very insecure. The first appointments were with Linda directly and it was fantastic l. My appointments were bi weekly until we starting seeing results, then 4 weeks, 6 weeks, and now every 8 weeks! I actually like going in every 4 but my skin is doing excellent and can hold off until then. The value is incredible as well. The products are amazing and affordable and gentle too. Can’t say enough about Linda and her entire team, but go see them if you are at the breaking point with your skin.

Linda is AMAZING! My daughter had some heavy teenage acne with lots of facial congestion that was starting to make her self conscious and drug store products were just not working. When we came to Linda she was immediately on the case – talking through the existing routines, products, usage and then explaining what was happening with my daughter’s skin and how she planned to treat it. All that up front and then she got to work.
We’ve been coming regularly for several months (we started with bi-​monthly appts then moved to monthly) and the difference is dramatic. Linda gave us a list of cosmetic ingredients to avoid, foods to steer clear of, and a daily routine to follow and we purchased all products from her as well.

Linda has helped with my skin so much. I had really bad eczema (dry skin) and acne, but she helped me control both of them. My skin is looking so much better than it used to be. Linda is super nice and she also makes you feel very comfortable. I have been with her for about a year and a half now and my skin looks and feels so much better. Nancy is also very good too. She is super friendly and helpful. I recommend both of them for all of your skin care needs.

Linda and her staff are amazing ! Not only does the treatments work but results are noticeable very quickly, although your face might become a little worse before it gets better BE PATIENT it will get better ! I cannot stress enough how grateful I am to have found this place. I am finally comfortable without makeup after a short 4 months thanks to Acneology. If you are skeptical DONT BE, I don’t typically leave Unilocal reviews but this place is worth it! Linda is great, The first consultation is a session and review about products and foods to avoid. The next few are completely done working on skin (once every two weeks). Once skin gets better you go once a month.

This review is long overdue! I have been coming to Linda and Nancy since December 7 2015 I’m 4 months into the treatment and my skin has improved soooo much! I was breaking out like crazy and was very very depressed to the point where I didn’t want to do anything anymore because my skin was that bad. I was debating if I should call up my dermatologist and start treatment again with him but I have already done all kinds of treatments with a dermatologist. I went to the dermatologist for 4 years and used all kinds of antibiotics and topical creams only for my ance to come back worst than ever. That’s when I decided to search for an acne clinic and found Acneology. I read their reviews for days before finally deciding to make an appointment. And I am so glad I did!!! My first appointment and consultation was great Linda explained everything to me from what kind of acne I had, why we get acne, and all kinds of information. She gave me papers with a lot of useful information from what foods to avoid, makeup ingredients to avoid, etc. I got all my products on my first appointment and have been using them religiously ever since. The products are at great prices and they last for long time I still have three products that I bought since my first visit 4 months ago even after using them two times a day, everyday. Linda and Nancy are very nice and welcoming! They always make me feel comfortable and explain to me what they are going to be doing and what to expect after the treatments. Another thing whenever I have questions I email Linda and get a response in less than 10 minutes which I really appreciate! My skin is now doing so much better and I am always getting compliments on how my skin looks so good now! I’m so happy to have found Acneology and deciding to make that first appointment. It’s been the best investment I have ever made for myself and I haven’t been happier with my skin. We are now working on removing the scarring the acne has left on my skin and I cannot wait to see how my skin will look in the next few months. Another thing I follow my skincare routine religiously and also cut a lot of the food that trigger acne out of my diet. You also need to do your part and listen to the instructions Linda and Nancy give to you. With that being said if you are looking for a place to help with your acne look no further and make that first appointment! You won’t regret it. I’ve been seeing Linda for about two years now. I have always suffered from acne since my teen years but when I got pregnant it got so much worse! It was horrible. I went to see Linda since she had so many good reviews and it was the best decision! She has done a miracle to my face. After two years with her treatments my skin has been at its best. I probably haven’t had my face like this since elementary school lol. (I started to break out at a young age)
Her office is very clean and professional. The best thing about Linda is that she is honest. She now has an assistant name Nancy who is wonderful! I can’t say anything else but great things about acneology.

I started with Linda when she was still at her old place, and it is such an honor to see her move from a little one room place to a beautiful 3 room place much closer to me. I have been with Linda for about 3 – 4 years even when I moved to San Francisco! Her expertise and love for my skin (and for others) have kept me at her side. The first couple of weeks of when I first met her, I can tell she was passionate about this job and not only because she is skilled in it, but because she has lived it and truly understands the importance of not feeling 100% confidence in your own skin, especially one that you can’t control. She suggested me to buy the products and to keep it consistent. It was my job to listen to her, and it was her job to help me control it. If you don’t listen to her, don’t expect results. I listened to her, and after a month or so of being able to control my acne, my face was glowy, more acne free, and my self-​esteem was so much greater. People noticed the difference in my face.
3 – 4 years later, I still get break outs here and there (she told me that this would happen) but my face looks still so great. And, I know that whenever I get another pimple or cyst, Linda is only a text away and she’ll guide me through it. Seeing her also makes me feel hopeful that this will all be taken care of.
I will not go to any other person besides Linda. I drive back to San Jose from San Francisco just to see her. I highly recommend this caring, passionate, and compassionate esthetician for your acne problems. I trust her and only her.

Back in December 2014 my face broke out bad (red all over and large, cystic acne) when I tried yet another OTC product. I got tired of seeing a dermatologist and not getting the results I wanted. They wanted to give me Accutane but those side-​effects didn’t seem worth it. I looked up skin care centers and came across Linda and glad I did. She gave me the honest truth: it would take time and effort to see results. She not only gave me products but educated on me on what they do and gradually introduced me to stronger doses. Those chemical peeling sessions were a little rough, not even going to lie, but it worked and by my birthday in March my face cleared up. It’s February 2016 and my face is still clear. I admit I haven’t seen her since summer 2015 but I wouldn’t be here today without her. Thank you Linda! I highly recommend you all check her out.

this review is looooong over due!!! i came to linda in october 2014 at her old location. my skin issues were always cystic type acne that never surfaced and was extremely painful. I would look at my friends and see bump-​free smooth skin and mine was never smooth! i was approaching 30 at the time and was upset my skin was all messed up… i have pretty good kaiser coverage, but they never wanted to refer me to a dermatologist and just wanted to prescribe antibiotics and some damn retin –a cream that NEVER worked in my teenage acne years either. the doctors would also tell me «oh your skin isn’t that bad, i have seen worse»…but hello??? i wanted better skin because i knew it could be better… i could care less who had «worse» skin than me… i had MY OWN SKIN ISSUES… so i looked online for help that i wouldn’t need meds…
honestly i picked linda because i read her story on her website. If anyone can sell me their services, it’s probably because i can relate to a struggle! i met her and instantly loved her. she told me we would do chemical peels and extractions and things would surface and it wouldn’t be pretty in between stages at first… but the regimen she was going to put me on was going to help me get through it. Especially the hydrator gel that eliminated any dryness. the whole point was literally to get to the root of the problem! not just the top layer of my skin (which kaiser doctors didn’t believe me! I knew this problem was deep within, not just on top!).so by the new year of 2015 my skin was damn near perfect! only a few months! people were complimenting my skin… that NEVER HAPPENED! i no longer get painful bumps. my skin is pretty damn smooth… i only have to go every few months for some extractions… i use all her products and never stopped using my bare minerals makeup. and along the way she introduced to to nancy who also worked there… i trust them both completely with my skin and will forever be their client!!! thank you thank you!!! beyond 5 stars!!!

I was accustomed to acne my entire life. When I was a kid I figured it will go away when I’m older but it didn’t!How embarrassing is it to have suffer from acne in your late 20s! I was getting regular facials but that didn’t help! I was spending $$$ and my skin was getting worse. I was Unilocaling one day and came across Acneology and the reviews were amazing and thought I would give this a try! And it was one of the best decisions I have made so far!
My initial consultation was with Nancy. She told me about the Acneology process which consisted of regular chemical peels to clear up acne, day and night regiment to follow. I did this for 5 months and now I am acne free except for the occasional breakout when I’m on my period. Acneology has changed my life and made me a more confident person! Thanks Linda and Nancy!!!

Linda is AMAZING!
I was on the acne treatment couple months ago and the experience was incredible. I got reaally good results while on the treatment. The only thing is that the treatment and products were quite pricy.
I like how Linda makes you feel so comfortable, she is very gentle and makes sure that you are clear on questions when she is explaining the steps of the process.

I’m not much of a «reviewer» but I do want to show how much I appreciate Linda and her treatments and can’t forget Nancy. I have been dealing with acne since I was 11 years old. Started in my forehead then my chin and when I started seeing Linda I had it all over my cheeks and jaw line. It was embarrassing when ppl would ask «why is your face like that?» Especially as a kid! I am now 30 years old and my skin has never been so clear. I walk around confident without makeup and I owe it all to Acneology/​Linda and Nancy. I had really bad acne skin so i tried many different dermatologists and skincare. I spent so much money. like few thousand dollars. but nothing heeled my skin. very sad. i saw good reviews here at Acneology Skin Care and met Linda. She’s very professional and knows what she’s doing. now, my skin looks so much better! Linda does a great job! Highly recommended.
My girlfriend used to suffer from cystic acne and non inflamed acne; she has been to a lot of acne treatment centers and to a dermatologist who prescribed her 3 months of antibiotics — none of those helped. Now she has finally found someone who knows what they are doing and the treatment is effective. She is really happy with the results.

I give Acneology SkinCare Center a five star. I book my appointment with Nancy. She is so perfessional. After 6 times treatment, Acne on my face no longer breaks out. I am currently having treatment on those red marks that left on my face. Within one or two more treatment, I believe I can get rid of the acne and marks which lasts for more than one year and a half. I started breaking out since two years ago and it really let me lose my confidence. I didn’t make eye contact when I was talking to other people. I knew it was impolite, but I just didn’t want anyone look at my face. Then I found this treatment center, and it changed my life! I met NNNNNNNNancy!!! She is amazing! even my English is not so good, she always answers my questions patiently! She is so professional and gently when she is cleaning my face. She encourages me a lot, and she really cares about her clients. I meet her once a month, and my skin looks totally different after seven times!!! Everybody think my skin is better and I feel confident now!

Amazing service! I started my treatment in July and now i can see the difference, pricing is very reasonable and the service that they provide is exceptional, they are honest and they are knowledgeable when it comes to what kind of acne do you have or what might be causing your acne. I love acneology, and i am happy i found this from Unilocal !!! Nancy and Linda are doing a good job. Its worth it !

Overall I give Acneology/​Linda/​Nancy/​the products all five stars. They have all been nothing but good to me and my skin and I am so delighted I found this place when I needed it the most.
A little about me: I started breaking out my sophomore year when I was 15 years old, mostly because this was generic and both my parents had acne, but I suffered with this all throughout high school.
I tried everything from doctor prescriptions, drug store products, birth control, and Proactive. Everything seemed to make things worse. A few months back, January of 2015, my sister recommended me this woman who does facials, massages, and waxing for my acne. HA let me tell you this, NEVER, I mean NEVER go with someone who will pick at your face and not prescribe you any type of lotion, or face washes after they treat you. This woman left me bruised and beat, I even cried during the treatment. After that horrific experience my sister recommended, I told my self I was going to find someone to help me get rid of my acne. That same month I found Acneology through Unilocal and I gave it a shot. It’s been 9 months since I started my treatments, and diets. Honestly this has been the best my skin has ever looked since I started breaking out. I can finally see the moles on my face haha! And it’s little things like that, that made me notice the products were working. I now have the confidence to do many things I’ve always wanted to do. I am a supervisor at one of my jobs and just got a second job as a waitress, and I feel like I would’ve never achieved these goals without pushing through with these diets, and products. But mind that you do have to go back for treatments every other week for the products to work. They will guide you through all these easy steps. If you want clear skin, have super sensitive skin like I do, and are willing to try anything, I strongly recommend this place for you. Linda is excellent. For the first few months your skin will begin purging all the acne sitting beneath the surface of your skin but don’t get discouraged! It’ll take some time (3 or 4 months max) but if you stick to her skin care régime and make it to all of your appointments, you’ll begin to see major improvements in your skin.

All I have to say is that Linda is amazing.

Five months ago I looked for Acneology Skincare center desperately for help. My skin was dry and breaking out really bad, my forehead and chin was really ugly, in matter that made me feel terrible, I tried to hide with foundations which made everything worse, I bought thousands of skincare product and nothing worked. So I decided to look for professional help. And that was the best decision I’ve ever made for my skin.
Linda explained all the process and what was going on with my skin, explained my skin type and we started the treatment. Today I have no acne at all, my skin is clean and nice, people always ask me what I do and make compliments all the time.
It does take time and patient, so DO NOT expect to go once and have the perfect skin, It won’t happen, it is a long process, but once the result shows you won’t regret, it is a real investment.

Linda is amazing, and her products and regiment really work. I started my treatment with Linda about 9 months ago and can now go make-​up free.
1. Pricing: I’ve saved money after my treatments here. I don’t spent any money at drug stores or Sephora on products that may or may not work. I see results and know that Linda’s treatments are a sure thing. Yes, acne treatments and facials cost money, but in the long run, it’s much more affordable than going to a dermatologist who might put you on pills or fixing the scars on your face.
2. Linda: She knows her stuff, and is so open, honest, nice and responsive. She’s never judging you and is really knowledgeable. I totally trust her with skin care advice. She once told me to put Vaseline on my very dry face and I was a little skeptical. But it worked and there was no break outs! She is also very responsive.
3. Products: These products are awesome and cheaper than the stuff that you would find at Sephora. They also last a long time. The products that I use are paraben free and don’t have strong chemicals. This was really important to me and Linda took this to consideration while finding the best products for my skin.
4. Treatments: Be patient. It will work, but everything takes time.

Linda is the most experienced esthetician I have ever had! She is very good at acne prone skin problems. When I got back from China I broke out so bad and it was so FUGLY! She took me under her wing and got that shit under control! She did a chemical peel every month for like three months & bam my reoccurring breakouts were gone.
Then we moved up to the Vitamin A peel to get rid of those stubborn hyper pigment! It was super peeling for a few days, but let me tell you it makes your face so much brighter!
Unfortunately I moved to SD :(
But anytime I go back to San Jose I will always let kinda take the wheel.
Let me add that she has a kind soul. Being in her presence is like hanging out with a friend. She has a great personality and I’m lucky that she saved my face!

I have been going to Linda for almost a year now and love her every time I go. I even started telling my family members there for her to start doing facials on them and she’s amazing.

Linda is a miracle worker. There is a reason she has a five star rating. When I first came to her about 18 months ago, I had only minor to moderate acne and it was gone within about 2 months, thanks to her. She is caring, very cautious, and she knows what the heck she is doing. Her prices are very, very reasonable. She is also honest. She slows my treatments down when my skin is doing well, and gives me the option of kicking treatments up to month to month, if I need it. One of my favorite things about Linda is that always makes time for you if you really need her. She is truly a gem.

I came to Linda about 6 months ago when my skin decided to toy with my self esteem and confidence. My acne was probably mild to moderate. I got the typical blackheads and those painful ugly pustular pimples concentrated around my upper lip, chin, and some on my cheek/​neck. I tried the Tria blue light, Clarisonic — I wasn’t getting the results I was hoping for nor was I impressed by them.
After about the 4^th or 5^th visit, I started seeing results! Fast forward, now I think I had either my 6^th or 7^th session, my skin had improved drastically. I noticed a more even skin tone, less oily t-​zone, very few blemishes. I’m at a point where the acne is gone and my skin is healing itself from the scars. I am happy with the products that I bought from Acneology, and more importantly, I’m happy with the results i’m starting to see! Linda has been my esthetician for quite some time now. Now she’s also my son’s esthetician.
My son is hitting his teenage years and recently started breaking out on his face. Linda is awesome! She not only gave him a regimen to treat his acne, she also gave him some cream to help with his eczema. He is diligent about following the regimen and his skin has improved tremendously!
