Action Urgent Care

Great attention from the attending provider. She took her time and wanted to understand the nature of the problem.

The wait time is fine ,
front desk staffing was nice ‚
nurse and the physician assistant also very frendly and nice …
but the problem is they dont have MD on clinic to be seen, I thought this is action urgent care clinic and they are supposed to help the patients providing the prescribed medicine, or prescription for med. doing small procedures, surgery, and stuff like that .I came in this place to check my blood, sugar, urin, hormons some lab work, cost me $$$$
and they did it pretty fast and that part was okay,
But few days later, they call me and they said they get some of results, and that some of the results came up in no balance, and my level of iron is very low and I was supposed to start taking something immediately, and they will cal me for other, when they get it, and talk to me all other results over the phone, and I said that’s not going to happen, because am a anemic I must see someone and
go over” hi” and «lo» results , and I need a copy for myself, when I come in clinic turns out that previos PA is not there, and she is not comming back for a next
3 –4 weeks, to see and talk to me regarding my results, only if I want to pay next consultation and see another physician assistants,
They just give me my results papers, and the worst thing about all is: I have anemia and my level of iron was very very low, and it required immediate attention ‚
I needed immediately meds. and they didn’t do anything about it, didn’t prescribe me even a single medicine, NONE ‚
Nothing, they said that the same PA who saw me the first time it won’t be there for next 3 –4 weeks ‚
I supposed to go on other clinics and look for her, they give me a phone numbers of other clinics she work for,
What??? Excuse me???
I mean come on, what are you talking about?
I didn’t came in laboratory just to do my healt testing and to get a results of just 4 pages of paper…
I came to you with thinking about solution after results came up… what I’m going supposed to do with my results?
Go somewhere else in another clinic maybe in the hospital, again pay to be seen by MD or PA examined, show them paper and MAYBE they will prescribe me meds, is that what you want???
And a top of everything, three weeks later,
I get the bill from the laboratory I never been use, for service thru Action Urgent Care,???
I called them, and they said I need to call the office where I’ve been seen, and I did they give me another number, and then another number to call, in my case no insurence involved I was paying from my package, I paid everything $$$$ on the first place before I saw PA. and before anything was send to unknown lab to me ‚
First day or two money was gone from my bank account, transaction go through, but they said I have remaining balance and she started counting, 4 different amounts
I said hold on, hold on, what are you talking about ?
I paid everything with my card, and she said let me double check, and finally figured that somehow they didn’t apply payments to my account???
Bad service, and double bills. …
This is not good action, and certainly not urgent care…
I’m so indeed disappointed, in way of your working, you do not care for your patience, and their conditions, you just care for money and profit… Im so sad and disappointed … definitely not coming again…

I’ve never been to an Urgent Care before, I had to bring my mother here a few months ago. We were the only ones in there. Literally no other patients in the waiting room, and I only saw one guy leave, about 4 min after we walked in. (Ill start with my mom negative remark) It somehow STILL took a very very very long time to be seen, to be diagnosed, to get the prescription, etc. I am not that insensitive to people doing there job, I know things take time, (and maybe im wrong here) but I just felt like it still took too long. That’s all.
Ok, on to more positive things! The staff was great! Super polite and seemed like like they really understood their jobs, and had my mothers best interest at heart. The Dr. (forgive me for forgetting his name) was young and SUPER cute. Was a very nice Dr. too. The care that my mother received was pretty good. The Cute Dr. was a little skeptical of his own diagnosis, and it took my mom suggesting a certain test, for him to acknowledge that that might be a good idea. Benefit of the doubt, he was a BRAND new Dr. and had only been there for about 2 months at the time, and he was trying so hard. So, knowing that the Dr. cared A LOT and was trying, is good enough for me, because they were gonna get the correct answer no matter what.
This place is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. It is very nice inside too. OH, almost forgot, the receptionist saw us pull up and saw that i was putting my mom in a wheel chair and came out to assist us. I was with my fiancé at the time, so we didn’t the help, but it WAS SO AWESOME that she did that. When I am alone with my mom in her chair, it’s literally almost impossible for me to get her in any door; so the assistance was much appreciated.
I would recommend this urgent care to anyone! They take a long time, but maybe they all take a long time? Maybe this is the best urgent care?! I wouldn’t doubt it!

I have been out of town on business on travel, and began to experience symptoms of an illness. I found Action via Google search and contacted them about hours and how to get there. Danny answered the call and gave descriptions of landmarks near them. When I arrived, he gave me immediate attention and recognized that I was the caller. He’s great.
The only had one form to complete (very easy) and the wait was very short. I was checked out by Kaylind. She was efficient and friendly. I was seen Magdalena who was the medical assistant in charge that evening. She was attentive and compassionate.
So, I’m thankful that Action Urgent Care was there for me. Fantastic service, clean and modern facilities and a rapid diagnosis and resolution to my issue.
I recommend them very highly!

These guys are the only people in the area that had an affordable lrice for me, sonce i didnt have insurance. They also got me in and out which is huge because i felt like s***. Elex was a knowledgable provider, and knew exactly what was wrong with me.

Here is the deal. I am using them almost like a primary care Dr. You can usually get in quickly if you don’t show up at 15 after they open because people que up for them to open and it takes 45 min for them to catch up. So wait a bit at home or their office you pick.
They also rotate Drs so you may not get the same one you saw the previous time but all have been very good

I went there because I needed referral for Tb blood test (after a ‘positive’ skin reaction else where) and decided to go there because it’s cheaper than paying $ 300 to a family doctor for the same paper.
They told me over the phone it’d be $ 99.00 (just as they advertise) I paid with debit card, and when I saw my bank statement, they charged $ 150.00!
I don’t know where this country is gonna end up with such messed up health care system where nobody cares about your health but taking your money.
If you decide to go to Urgent care because of lower cost, just pay them cash, avoid being overcharged like me.

I have NEVER seen a billing department as screwed up as this groups. I went to this clinic on Sept 1^st 2015 after a car tried to illegally cross 3 lanes of oncoming traffic, missed & crashed his vehicle into mine. I was shaken as I’d never been in a car accident before. I paid over $ 300 cash for xrays, a shot of some kind in my back & to be examined by a Dr. I was still shaken when I left & I forgot to ask for a receipt so I could get reimbursed. That was 30 days ago & I still have yet to receive a copy of my receipts from these completely unprofessional people in their billing department. I’ve called them & called them & all I get a runaround. BEWARE to anyone who uses this urgent care facility or one of its other franchises, they are complete hacks. Having a car crash into me was traumatic enough, their billing department is a new kind of trauma that I don’t need.

I would give this urgent care 6 starts if I could! My family and I have came in several times, and they always manage to make us feel cared for and comfortable. They’re quick to get me in and out the door with the right treatment and their physician assistants are very knowledgable and caring! Everybody that I have encountered there during my visits has been very friendly and helpful. My last visit was not long ago and I can tell you that in a matter of one or two days after my visit I was feeling great! I’m always satisfied with the care I receive here. And now that flu season is here I will definitely be going in with my family for the flu shot!

If I could give negative stars I would. These people are not only rude but they take forever to do anything. My fiancé fell at work and needed some x-​rays of his ankle taken. They took over an hour to see him then after the x-​rays it took forever for them to read them. In the end all he had was swelling. He mentioned a previous injury in the same location and asked if they could check it out because they already had an xray of the area. They refused. You think that since you are in pain and paying out of picket for everything that they might be at least a little bit nice but no. I would save your time and money and just suffer it out at home. Very disappointed.

I walked in at 9am when they opened and it took them less than five minutes to see me. The nurses were friendly and helpful. The receptionist didn’t seem very happy to be there and she forgot to give me my drivers license and insurance when I left so I had to come back.
The check up was quick and I needed additional tests done so they worked with my schedule to get an appointment set up at their other location. I got an ultrasound and right as I was getting ready to leave the nurse forgot to do an ultrasound on another area. Luckily I wasn’t in a rush to go anywhere else.
I would give it a 5 star for customer service and response time. They were able to write me a prescription and gave me follow up phone calls to check on my status. Great nurse staff except that the receptionists at both clinics did not seem happy. I highly recommend going here for urgent care needs.

Very slow given that no one else was in waiting room and it was in the middle of the day. Front office staff not friendly but I guess that is to be expected. The nurse techs appear to be inexperienced as they had to repeat measurements. Nice facility. I will go somewhere else next time but this is a decent choice.

I brought my 9 year old son for a physical; no waiting time, a beautiful office, a professional receptionist. Kaitlin PA was very knowledgable and nice, my son got an HPV vaccination recommended by her. It was a good experience!
Brought my mom latter for medications refill; she has been seen by Irina PA, a good experience as well.
Seems like my family has been treated well in this place.

I went for a jog in the evening and fell on my knees and landed on my wrist. I’m glad I found the Action Urgent Care folks! They excepted walk-​ins, were quick to check my insurance and took great care of me. They took some X-​rays, cleaned and dressed the wounds on my knees, gave me a tetanus shot and bandaged up my sprained wrist. Super friendly faces! And great service and care!

I would give this place a zero star if I could.
I went there on a Sunday because my situation could not wait for a Monday. They don’t have any DR on Sunday. So I took the chance I have waited over an hour before someone came to my room. And the lady who checked me said «oh you are fine just take medication and you all good». So the next day I could not take it anymore because the medication did not help at all. So I went to Washington urgent care in Fremont the DR over there could not believe that the lady release me with just medication. So the DR cut me open where I needed it (process of 15 minutes max) and boom problem solved.
Do not go to Action urgent care they are not professional at all.

BEWARE –THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!
They misdiagnosed my son after full fee, long wait.
Promised to call back in 48 hours to check on him.
Called back FIVE days later and said they MISDIAGNOSED HIM – they said they gave him the wrong meds (expensive ones) but they had called in new ones.
I asked to talk with a doctor and they said they are staffed only with Physicians Assistants–
My son has now exposed everyone at school and work and has been sick longer than he needed to be, and took strong and unnecessary medications!
GO HERE IF YOU WANT A TERRIBLE PHYSICIANS ASSISTANT THAT CANNOT MAKE A SIMPLE DIAGNOSIS OR RETURN A CALL WITHIN A TWO DAY WINDOW AS COMMITTED.

Action’s customer service people contacted me and said they are supposed to be a Blue Shield Preferred Provider and said they are trying to figure out what went wrong. Overall their customer service seems to be fairly caring (except perhaps for the manager the staff called who trusted their system more than my insurance card and word about past experiences… they could have offered to try to figure it out and bill me if I did indeed have a deductible, that might have been a nicer solution given that I was pretty sick).
I’ll consider trying Action again if I need urgent care, but my experience is still what it is unfortunately.

These people ripped off my healthcare provider. Charged me over $ 500 for a visit for a physical. I also had a cold and asked the doctor for a remedy and the anti nasal congestion medication she prescribed failed to work and was therefore sick for weeks after my visit. For my physical I had a blood test done and the nurse pricked me 4 times trying to get one of my veins and failed. Talk about being bad at your job. To add insult to injury, they refused to provide me with the test results over the phone a week after and told me I had to come in.
Avoid this place at all costs. The doctors here are scam artists.

After posting the other day, and receiving Action’s response, I went to the Urgent Care office of my own MD. I did that so that I could get a diagnosis in less than 4 or 5 days. Sure enough, the MD I saw at this other reputable clinic remarked that the tests ordered should take no more than an hour or two, so the line about how some blood tests take up to 14 days is *true* but not pertinent to the routine tests the PA ordered.
I got my test results, was treated, and released. Still waiting to hear from Action.
Staff is very young/​inexperienced. PAs suggest some highly questionable treatments (despite the lack of diagnosis). Seriously? I should go to Whole Foods and buy a certain kind of mushroom in capsules?

There’s nothing worse then having a combination of seasonal summer allergies paired with strep throat… Awful! I had driven by this new location after some shopping at the Nordstrom Rack, and decided to stop in since it was convenient. I’ve been to the one on blossom hill before and had a good experience every time. This location was a little bigger and more modern looking. I walked in and It wasn’t very busy and luckily I didn’t have to wait long.
I saw dr. Lisa and ended up getting antibiotics (z pack) for my strep and they offered me an allergy test for my allergies since I had already met my deductible so it was totally free. It was painless and took less than 20 minutes for them to put the things on my back. I was informed of what I’m allergic too and given tips on how to handle and manage the flare ups. I also got some prescriptions to fill.
What’s cool is they have their own pharmacy so I was able to buy the z pack there and didn’t have to go into a drug store.
Pretty cool that I was able to just walk in and get all of this done on a short notice. No appointment was needed or anything.
