All Star Cab

I requested a cab from Santa Clara to San Jose airport. I was waiting in the driveway for the cab and saw him pull into another driveway half a block away. Got a call from the cab stating that he was at the address (he was at the wrong address). I walked to the cab and got in and noticed that the meter was already running.
I will use über from now on.

JUST DON’T !
Eep, guys this service is just… abysmal. My accompanist had a reservation for pick up from his place at 5:20am last week to take us to the SJC airport and guess what? …THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!
1. First off I suggested the use of über, Lyft, sidecar, flywheel, etc. My partner in crime was a faithful user of taxis and insisted, if they were paying… why would I argue?
2. Ready to depart his place at 5:10am, coffee in hand, ready to escape on a plane to a far off destination.
2. 5:20… Nothing.
3. 5:25… Nothing.
4. 5:27 rolls around and he decides to call them (on speaker for a greater effect). The person who answers the phone sounds groggy and ill, he explains that the cab company does not pick up in Fremont. WHAT. UM. WHAT!!!
5. After reviewing our confirmation with him, and his monotone apology for the confusion, we had to drive (didn’t even have time to schedule a Lyft/​über/​sc/​fw).
6. We returned to the airport with $ 120 bill for parking. Thank you star cab for your service it most definitely exceeded my expectations… of how bad taxis could really be, most importantly, how unreliable…
Overall: take an über, sidecar, Lyft, etc. That way you know their Eta, you know you’re backed by the company, and you can count on their arrival.
P. s. Googlers– beware! Apparently if you’re in the San Jose area and google «cab» or even «yellow cab» this company will come up first due to paid advertisements… all the more reason to use a phone application!

Beware, the driver never show’d at 5:20 AM. I had a confirmation email. When I called to check on the cab The dispatcher sounded as if he was sleeping and working out of his home. Then he told me we don’t drive to Fremont only San Jose. Conflicting what their website states. My only option was to drive my own car and spend $ 120.00 on parking or miss my flight. My next ride will be Über. Thanks Google for your preferred search results.

Picked me up where I needed, when I needed, dropped me off short ride later on time to catch train. Friendly driver too.

Yi call a cap and never show up and then i sawthe driver is so nice he don’t need a map to drop you the cab was clean and he have sense of humor he is good guy we was laughing like now together he is wonderful and no body can pit his price safe driver you will meet him and you know

The reviews for this service are surely questionable — the CEO is the cab driver — he is on 2 cell phones while he drives (one for customers and one to coordinate with the other cabs). He does not use hands-​free — his phone rings constantly. Besides he lies to other customers in front of customers. He was late and was going to be late for other passengers.
I would not recommend this service to anyone — unless you like to understand how a cab company is run and have all the time in the world and don’t need to get any place on time.

I don’t know how this company has gotten so many good reviews.
I scheduled a 4:45 PM reservation and confirmed the pickup in email.
Three days later, the driver called on the right day … at 4:45 AM!
This happened today (a Sunday) and the call was made to my CEO, who has a small child.
Now *I* look stupid, and the boss is mad.
Spare yourself the same fate and use Lyft.

I went online the night before and reserved a cab for 930 am from Campbell to SJ international airport. The process was easy and I quickly received an email confirming my cab. The next morning no cab showed up, I waited until 945 before calling. The person who answered had no knowledge of a cab reservation. I explained my email confirmation and he found the reservation. He said he would send a cab in 10 minutes, about 10 minutes later I received another call from a cab driver who said he was 10 minutes away. When he arrived he was apologetic for the delay. The driver was friendly and efficient but the cab arrived almost an hour after I had scheduled it.

This cab service is great. The driver was on time and professional. He correctly estimated the cost of the service before hand and took a route that would cost me less. Excellent service, I do recommend it!

Very efficient and helping people. I had to go to hospital and they saved my time channeling between their drivers to get me on time. I would recommend this service to all
