Appliance Tech Now

My ice maker went out under a 5 years Lowes warranty, the 1^st place Lowes sent me to was really bad, I wrote a review on them and so I called Lowes back and they now had Appliance Tech on the job. The techs were on time and very nice both visits, 1^st to verify the issue and 2^nd to replace the samsung Ice maker. The tech adjusted by doors and rollers and even helped me clean out the 4 years of dust behind the unit, both tech were super nice and did a super job :)
Only down side was setting up the appt, they called me 3 or 4 times to move it around after we set up a time, so they need to work on the front desk part.

This business sets new lows in customer service so stay away. They only schedule in 3-​hour windows, which is typical so that’s not the reason for the low rating, but they also require that you answer the phone when they are on their way. If you are on the phone with someone, in a meeting, or whatever and you miss the call, then they don’t knock on the door and you need to schedule the technician all over again. I was in a meeting and couldn’t answer the phone. When I got out and called back, I was told that it would have to be rescheduled. My wife was home the whole time and was ready to let the technician in, but when they won’t knock you are out of luck. What a joke!

We had a wonderful experience with Appliance Now. A couple of months ago we had a new dishwasher installed. To my surprise it suddenly wouldn’t drain. We called the manufacturer and they sent Appliance Tech Now to see what the problem was.
I was called the night before and given a 3 hour window. Quoc arrived on time and called when he was on his way. He quickly determined that the dishwasher was fine, it was us that was causing the issue. He showed me how to properly maintain the appliance to prevent any problems going forward. Since this was not a warranty issue I did have to pay for the service call, but the price was very reasonable.

This is the WORST repair experience I have ever had! Each time they come out to fix the freezer, they say it’s fixed and guess what? A week (or weeks) later, we have the same problem. This has gone on for months without resolution. This is the company our home warranty company uses. When we called this morning we were told that they cannot come out for almost a week… which makes sense since they aren’t getting paid because it’s within the 30-​day home warranty time frame. Ridiculous!

4^th visit by the same incompetent buffoon.
Apparently they gave him the wrong part again. Never again.

We’ve used them for several repairs, the last being for an obstructed refrigerator defrost drain. A tech came out and supposedly fixed the problem. But we noticed the same symptom — a freezer drawer stuck by slowly accumulating ice — about 6 weeks later. A different tech responded and, this time, repaired it with a manufacturer authorized part (fingers crossed).
But there was some hassle: As their warranty is only 30 days for labor, they initially billed us the full amount for the second service call even though it was caused by their own failed first repair, done less than 6 weeks earlier. The staff was adamant about this but a refund was finally granted, although it took an explicit appeal to the office manager.

I had water leaking out from the freezer side of my refrigerator on and off for a few months now. So it was time to get this fixed. So of course I called the place that has never let me down —- Appliance Tech Now. I made contact, and easily scheduled the appointment.
Hung was the technician who came — I’ve dealt with Hung on numerous occasions and he really has vast knowledge and experience and he gets results.
He troubleshot and fixed the fridge, kept me in the loop as to what was done and how-​and-​why. I don’t think I’ll be having any more problems with this fridge after Hung’s repair.
The cost of the repair was very fair and reasonable. I am a happy customer.
I will continue to recommend Appliance Tech Now to all friends and family in need of appliance repairs.

Our Viking refrigerator had a freon leak. Other company said it was unfindable and we should either live with the leak and refill yearly or buy a new refrigerator. Joe came out and said he could perform leak detection. Next time we ran out of freon he was able to diagnose the leak and find the part. Hopefully this fixes the problem but Joe might have saved us a lot of money.

Update: the memo the employee left on the invoice was not what was reported to my appliance insurance carrier. They did tell them there was a fire in the microwave. To be fair I have to change the stars as I was unaware that the invoice I get isn’t the same info the appliance insurance company gets.
He was apparently more thorough in the report to the insurance co. In the end I got my appliance replaced by my insurance company. I have to leave 1 star off due to the lack of communicating to me what I get instead the insurance carrier gets. They did expedite the report the same day. Thank you for addressing my concerns.

Home warranty company (Fidelity) sent them out to us.

The tech sent out to fix my oven was not knowledgable in repair. Not only did he not fix my oven but he did not turn in the report to my home warranty company for over a week. Also, the customer service person at this company laughed at my request for it to be fixed again and to please send out a senior repair tech. She told me to turn my knobs on the oven!!!
I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this company due to lack of knowledge and lack of customer service skills.

I had other company came out 2 months ago for the same problem with my washer. It seem fixed at that moment when that other company’s technician came out, but it turned out the problem reoccur again. Since, they did not replace part for my Samsung’s washer, they didn’t have any warranty.
Now, I end up found Appliance Tech Now to come out and fix my washer this time. This time, I can see my money paid to the right company. The technician that fixed my washer that day was Hung. I heard from the office staff that Hung has been in this field for more than 10 years. When he diagnosed on that day for 10 mins, the washer start to work and I thought that was easy money for him, but it turns out that he stayed for more than an hour because he found some error code after the washer start running. He told me he hasn’t resolve the error code yet, so he doesn’t want to leave until he knows what caused it. An hour later, he shown me the problem and what he fixed.
Result: it has been a month and couple days past already and my washer works perfectly fine and I don’t have to waste my money to get another company to come out and fix the same problem again.
I would recommend Hung to those who wants to make your money worth every single dime.

We were referred to APN through our home warranty company. We were serviced three times by two different guys, Gus and Jeff. Both were very friendly and professional. They explained the problems to us and quickly fixed our stove, oven, and microwave. I would recommend them based on our experiences.

We were referred by an appliance warranty company. Gus repaired our dryer, our cooktop, and our dishwasher. He called before he came, repaired the dryer, and ordered parts for the cooktop and the dishwasher. The dryer is working fine. He called when the parts arrived and came out to install them. Gus was dependable, courteous, and cleaned up after himself. We would not hesitate to use Appliance Tech Now again and would request Gus.

We were referred due to home appliance insurance.
Gus, technician came out to assess my oven.
After thorough assessment, he ordered the control unit.
With an insurance approval, the unit was installed by Gus one week

Had two service guys come out for our dishwasher. First guy took 4 hours and had me read from the manual because he couldn’t figure it out. Second guy said we needed a new pump and motor replaced. Follow up call and the office and the second guy say «oh we didn’t find anything» and both the office and the service guy are dogding calls and provide terrible service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Months have passed. 2 repair visits. Nothing they touched works.

in any ways they get money out of your pocket .

Through a home warranty company Appliance Tech Now was assigned to work on my dryer. I was initially told the part would come in at max in two weeks. Three months later the part was finally acquired, through the help of the warranty company. Now there is some forgiveness here in that this company could not create a part that the manufacturer had on back-​order, however the following is not forgivable:
After waiting three months I asked them to accommodate my schedule for the repair so that I did not have to miss more work. Nope — not an option. So I take off another half day of work and the repair man comes and fixes the machine. I go to do laundry only to realize that he did not reinstall the exhaust venting tube (the flexible silver thingy). Ok, I can do that on my own, I’m not a complete moron… well apparently when he dismantled and then put the dryer back together he did not position the inlet to allow the exhaust coupler to connect back, and I can’t fix this myself.
I call the company in the evening explaining the situation and asking for an immediate call back in the morning. No such luck, I had to call them. I explained and told them I wanted them out on my schedule (it is now Friday). I wanted a tech out Saturday AM… guess what?! Again the answer is NO. The best they could do to fix THEIR error is to come out Saturday afternoon between 1 — 4. I have no choice if I want to be able to use my dryer. So a beautiful Saturday afternoon will be wasted since I can’t leave the house.
I am UTTERLEY DISGUSTED. You would think that after a three month wait, and incomplete reassembly, an entire day off of work that I have had to invest that they would have a tech come on Saturday morning to take care of this. Apparently not, the best they could do for me is tell me that if someone cancels on Saturday morning they would bump up the fix. How kind of them… and yes that is a snarky dripping with sarcasm tone I’m using. What can I say… use at your own risk.

My washer lost it’s ability to spin. I called their office on Monday had an appointment for tues but I had to cancel made another appointment for Wednesday AM. Joe, the Service Mgr was very prompt. diagnosed the problem and removed and replaced the motor coupling and drain pump.
It works just like new.
This company is a company that people like to do business with, because they know what they are doing, they are prompt, the estimate was correct, Joe cleaned up after the repairs and was on his way. I am washing clothes as this writing.
