Art Bash Studios

My oldest son loves Art Bash. We celebrated his 5^th birthday there and the kids made glass mosaics on wooden birdhouses. Super cute project. They even got to take home a bag of materials if they hadn’t finished decorating their birdhouses. Since then (less than a year ago), we’ve come back for weeks of summer camp and random days off from school. My son is in heaven there with the freedom to experiment with media he can’t at his elementary school, as well as the personal attention from the teachers. Our house is covered with Art Bash projects — painted canvases, fused art, glass mosaics, mixed media, and small sculptures. Each one he’s so proud of and we treasure. Most of the time we interact with Ivy and CD (the owner) — they’re both wonderful with the kids. I’m so glad we discovered Art Bash and together we can support my child’s love of art.

We held our daughters 6^th birthday party at Art Bash Studios and had an excellent experience. During the booking process Stacy was very helpful, efficient and professional. On the day of the party everything went without a hitch. The class was taught by Ivy, but CD was also there. Ivy did a great job of talking 15 4 – 6 year olds through their painting task, all of the kids were dedicated to the task and really seemed to enjoy themselves. The party was well structured with a break mid-​painting for snacks. The staff were considerate to parent and child needs; they know what they are doing and they do it well. If you have a creative child I would definitely recommend Art Bash for kids parties.

We hosted my daughter’s 9^th birthday party here today. We had never been here (we found it based on Unilocal reviews), so we didn’t know what to expect. We were so pleasantly surprised! The studio is really charming, clean, and the place was already decorated. Our instructor, Leighton, was wonderful with the kids. She was so patient and kind. There was guidance, but also freedom for the kids to express themselves. We did the «mystery landscape» which was fun! I LOVE that we get to bring our own food, as I’m tired of places using only certain vendors. I also met the owner, CD, who was really warm and sincere. What a wonderful experience! I might organize a mom’s group activity here in the near future…

I wish I can give this place a negative review. I signed up for a private acrylic class for my son on the 28^th of December at 4:30pm. I paid $ 25 dollars in advance to the owner (C.D). My son and I was there 5 mins before scheduled time on the 28^th. The teacher Ivy was not there. The teacher who was there said there was some miscommunication as no one informed Ivy. The teacher who was present at that time was kind enough not to disappoint my little one. She made him sit with a group and do a watercolor. Stacy (office assistant) called me to schedule an appointment next day. I told her I could cancel my son’s martial art and will bring him on Saturday at 11am. Again, we showed up. Bingo! the studio was closed. I called the teacher who was present on the 28^th (only sensible person in that place) told no one is there and that I need my money back. So far I haven’t gotten my money back. Today, I texted the teacher (who was on dec 28^th teacher… Sorry I forgot her name) she texted back saying that I need to call up Stacy which was absurd after paying the money in advance. It’s not about $ 25 it’s about the attitude and the irresponsible ownership. I will never enter this place again. I want to get my money back as this place is not worthy.

We had our daughter 6^th birthday party on Jan 2, 2016. It was our first time organizing any party at this location. We all had a great fun time here, specially all the kids. This is a perfect place for kids of any age (recommendation 3 and above). Our 22 month old guest had lot of fun using brush and paint.
Layeton is a great instructor and has lot of patience. Heather was great too. She helped all the kids who where bit late to come up to the speed as others. Kudoos to both of them.
One thing which they can improve on is to get a bigger fridge to keep cake. Our cake was 16lb cake and could not fit in there mini fridge. We kept it in our car as weather was cold and for two hours it did not really made any difference.
Overall we all had a great time. Those two hours was well spent doing some productive work.
If your kid loves art, we highly recommend this place.

My daughter participated in on week of Art Bash’s summer program and had a blast. Much like the drop in class, my daughter enjoyed her time there and came away with some very impressive art. The price was a bit high but with the amount of STUFF and projects she came home with… I think it was justified. My daughter did 2 canvas paintings, 2 multimedia collages, 2 wooden murals with mosaic glass work, and a TON of great drawings and watercolors. She also left with a greater knowledge of art and love for it:) Mission for a fun art experience accomplished. We will definitely sign up again.

I’ve rediscovered parts of me I forgot about at Art Bash Studios. My first experience was a party. A friend invited me to a get together where we all made fused glass creations. I loved the process and I love the pieces in my home. Since the first party I went with a friend where we spent an afternoon combining wood, paint and glass. CD is incredibly creative and a generous, patient guide and teacher. The experience at Art Bash has fueled creativity in other areas of my life. This would be a great place for a corporate «team building» event focused on creativity or for a writer or anyone who needs to reignite their creative spark. Have fun!

Sunday was Father’s Day and I arranged to have CD come and teach a private in-​home painting lesson for my husband and our daughters. It was THE BEST idea I’ve EVER had!!! CD has the perfect personality for teaching all levels, she arrived with everything needed and immediately went to work teaching. We all had the best time, and my husband has repeatedly said «That was the best Father’s Day ever!».

Came here for a birthday party and also my daughter started her summer camp here this week. She loves this place and had lots of fun. The owner is a very nice lady.

Had our daughter’s 7^th birthday party here today. What a wonderful experience! The children really enjoyed creating their paintings on canvas. The instructors were engaging and encouraging. A+!

This place was perfect for my daughter’s 7^th birthday party! We had 18 participants for the mosaic project and they were so into it! Even some adults joined in. They had extra tables for putting our food and cake and drinks on. We were able to set up 30 min before. And the party was just enough time for the project and for food and cake. Would definitely have another party here!

We held my daughter’s 7^th birthday party here today and we couldn’t be happier! From the first phone call to after the party was ever, CD was so warm, kind, helpful, and accommodating. She is truly a pleasure to be around!
When we arrived to setup for the party, we were delighted to see that pretty much everything was set up already! All of the tables were covered with tablecloths and there was even a nicely decorated table out front for the kids to eat at. During the party, CD made everything flow perfectly and even brought out some fun games for the kids to play after they finished eating and were waiting for the paintings to dry before adding some finishing touches. Everyone had an amazing time and it is one of the most stress-​free parties that we have every held!
My daughter wanted to paint a dolphin on canvas on her project, and since dolphins can be difficult for kids to draw, CD graciously predrew an outline of a jumping dolphin on each child’s canvas. The kids then had a blast painting and adding personal touches including a few sparkling gems at the end. :)
I can’t say enough nice things about CD or Art Bash Studios! I highly recommend checking it out! My daughter already wants to come back for a lesson. They adults were even impressed with all of the art that was displayed and my friend and I want to come take a glass mosaics class. All in all, a perfect birthday party experience from start to finish!

My daughter celebrated her 5^th birthday with her friends at Art Bash Studios last Saturday. What a great experience both the little ones and the parents had!
The owner CD is so warm, genuine and wonderful with children. She and her assistant made it so fun for the children, they are engaged for the full two hours. The parents just sat back socializing and relaxing. The studio warm and beautiful, so you really don’t have to worry about decoration. CD is also extremely helpful with setting up snacks and drinks, she even helped me packing up the leftovers so I can enjoy myself. I left the birthday party with a huge grin on my face.
My daughter loves CD and the studio so much now she is asking for art classes with CD.

We just hosted my daughter’s 6^th birthday here at Art Bash Studios.
Everything was easy. from the initial consultation about what my daughter wanted to do for her project, all the way up to the day of the party and throughout the party.
CD, Ivy & Stacy were all so helpful & knowledgeable that I did not need to do much to prepare!
My daughter loves elephants, so all of her friends did the mosaic elephants and everyone had so much fun!
I read a review that mentioned eating at the same table as the glass… they have changed the process as all of the girls headed out to a perfect table right outside the studio and had their pizza and cupcakes outside!
We will definitely be back!

We hosted our son’s 4^th birthday at Art Bash Studios. The process (enquiring, booking, coming to pick the art project with my son, etc) was easy and CD and Stacy were flexible.
The party itself was great. All the kids and their parents loved it. CD was flexible with the project (giving them two options to paint… a robot and a giraffe… which she personally drew lightly on the canvas before the party). Ivy and Kenny lead the kids through the painting provide enough «help» but letting the kids do their thing. Everyone (parents included) loved the paintings and really enjoyed the party as it was different from the typical jumping house party. The kids had a blast.
The team even set up a painting station (with a step stool) for my almost 2 toddler to paint to his heart’s content.
There was a mishap with the food delivery so it was at least 40 mins late. CD was quick to respond as soon as I told her the situation. She and Ivy had the kids do a mystery drawing activity and then coloring — I could tell from all the laughing that they also had a blast with this.
Clean-​up was easy. We packed our things and CD and her crew did the rest.
We all loved the party and am looking excited to sign up my son for some art lessons in the near future.
Thanks to the whole team, especially Ivy for helping my son with the awesome robot painting!!! She was awesome with the kids.

We had a birthday party for our seven-​year old son at the art studio. It was a blast! The kids had a lot of fun painting and otherwise running around. Stacy and her assistant made sure the kids were engaged and patiently guided them along. Stacy was also extremely helpful with planning for the party. Our friends were impressed.

We have mixed feelings about this place. The owner/​instructor is VERY good with kids and my child loved it. However, logistics were often mixed up and several times we showed up and were turned away. Thus, we aren’t going there any longer.

After such a great experience in February for our son’s birthday party we decided to ask CD to host an art party at our home in Campbell. CD agreed to hold the art class in our backyard for the children. It was a huge success! She brought three different crafts for various age levels. She came early, set up all the materials and she brought everything she needed (hooray!) Afterwards, she cleaned up everything so neatly. I received nothing but compliments from the 14 families that enjoyed the crafts that day. CD even painted a gorgeous mural on our sidewalk to welcome the guests to our party! It was original and unique! I would highly recommend her for a different twist on a kids party. Everyone had a great time creating art with CD’s easy-​going personality!

I had my daughter’s 5^th birthday party at Kids Art Bash yesterday. I wanted to do something different and this was the perfect place. I had 15 kids in my party (ages ranged from 3−13yrs) and everyone LOVED it, including the parents. It was fantastic to see the kids inspired and being creative. They did a beach themed painting project and they had a blast! The staff was patient, caring, and they managed the party wonderfully. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect way to celebrate my little girl’s special day. thank you CD and staff!!! Can’t wait to take daughter back to your studio.

I am writing this review a day after my daughter’s 9^th birthday with CD and Art Bash and I’ve been getting compliments from all our guests’ parents continually on how much fun they had what a great project they made. CD has a warm, approachable personality and the kids LOVED her. The project they made was very unique — a wooden mosaic project that my daughter chose after seeing photos of examples — and they were each beautiful and unique. And to top it all off we managed to get copies of books that CD had illustrated and she signed each one for the kids! I spoke to two girls today who still can hardly believe they met the illustrator of such a beautiful book. Takes a while to register I think :) We will definitely look into classes or camps in the future that fit our schedule b/​c she is a very encouraging guide.
