I have a Morning Get together with cars once a month and I was buying my donuts from another donut shop and I would always end up with leftover donuts. Well, when I changed over to buying my donuts from Bascom Donuts I noticed I wasn’t having leftovers so I started buying more each month. I now buy 7 dozen and still it’s not enough lol
I have special functions early with lots of cars and I can always count on Bascom Donuts to save the day… Hands down they have the best donuts so stop in and tell them Ronnie sent you… the guy with the 56 Delivery… I promise you will not be disappointed on the fresh taste of the donuts …

I love this place. It’s always a must at least once a week! I love their variety of coffees and breakfast sandwiches! They even have wheat bread for the people that want something a little more healthier. The customer service is fantastic and all the customers are even really nice! It’s a definite good place to start your day.

The Donuts are great here and they also have great breakfast sandwiches. What really makes this Place great is Brandon and his staff, these folks are always friendly and they remember your name and treat you like you are their only customer. Brandon will make a good CEO someday.

The donuts here are very good: light, flaky and flavorful. No heavy greasy donuts here. It is family owned; they are all very nice and polite. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches too! Highly recommended.

We used to live around the corner from this donut shop and knew the donuts were good but kind of took it for granted… now that we live in Sunnyvale (20 mins away) and have tried THREE different donut places for our Sunday morning tradition, we know that we were LUCKY to have Bascom Donuts practically in our backyard for all those years. Now we’re spoiled forever… ;o)
Why are their donuts so special?
— They are lighter/​fluffier than most… that is the biggest difference.
— They aren’t sickeningly sweet… I want to taste the dough with a sweet accent not sweet, sweet, sweet
— They give you free donut holes!
— They are SOOOO friendly… always…I haven’t found ANYone this friendly at ANY donut shop… what the heck?!
I’ve heard that their ham/​cheese croissants are incredible also… knew someone that used to drive from E. San Jose to get those! Now I know why…

I owed my roommate donuts, and this place has been on my to try list for about 3 years. So I finally made my way over here.
We got 4 donuts to split:
1) Glazed old fashion — nice taste. as expected.
2) Crumb — this had a great cake texture. lots of cinnamon in the crumb mix. This was probably my favorite.
3) Maple Bar — good raised doughnut texture. The maple layer was thinner than other places, but I liked it. Not too sweet.
4) Frosted Cake doughnut — cute, colorful and sweet. Texture was in between raised and cake. I liked the texture. My roommate really liked this one. I think this was her favorite.
Staff was nice. Threw in some doughnut holes with my purchase. 4 donuts was $ 4.80.
This also had egg croissants that smelled amazing. I was looking for a vegetarian one on the menu, but didn’t see any. No veggie option. Not even just simple egg and cheese. They all had meat… So I skipped out and just got donuts. Kind of sad. that was my only complaint. Donuts were good.

Agreed with most. I have not come here in a while but the donuts are fresh home grown and the prices for every breakfast combinations offered seem very reasonable. I’d come back for certain… if i still ate donuts! Ha. I did also try a muffin here prior and that too was fresh and price pointed reasonable!

Went in on a Saturday around 10:30am looking for some donut holes and pastries for a road trip. There was one cream cheese pastry left, I I opted for the muffins blueberry, bran, banana — all were moist and fresh unfortunately the blueberry muffin only had three berries lol
The donuts when available are fresh and consistent. The French cruller is my all time favorite and they make it exactly the way I crave it. The customer service is great, I asked for the muffins to be cut in half and they did it for me happily.

I came in here to buy the only sort of doughnut I like (glazed) and it had an odd, almost tangy flavor like it had been cooked with fish oil or something.
I called later and found out they aren’t even vegetarian.
I prefer Sunny Doughnuts around the corner. Their glazeds are a little more expensive, but they’re cooked in Palm oil and way better tasting.

Donuts, who woulda thought I would be giving 5 stars for donuts?!?
Co-​worker kept telling me how good these donuts were, and I always simply shrugged it off. Recently after we got off work in the morning I decided to come here with my co-​worker to see what all the fuss was about, I was even skeptical about the other Unilocal reviews.
So what makes these 5 star donuts? They are so fluffy & soft, and just melt in your mouth with each bite. These donuts are so fresh. Even after 12 hours they were just as delicious. The glazed donuts are so good that I’ll even dare say they’re better than krispy kreme!
TIP — If you buy a dozen they’ll pack free donut holes into your box =)
