Bay Area Hard Surface Solutions

I’ve used Bay Area Hard Surface twice now for my main floor ceramic tile. The results are amazing! I’ve have textured 12″ ceramic tile, which is a total pain to keep clean. Dirt gets into every crevice and discolores the grout. But the machine Rodney uses to clean them makes quick work of it all, and makes them look brand new. Everyone notices and comments on how wonderful the floors look after they’re cleaned. I first found the company on Groupon, and was amazed that he was able to schedule service so quickly. Every time I’ve called, he’s been able to schedule me within a day or two. Super nice, honest, and hardworking guy. Highly recommended. I’ll definitely be using the service regularly to keep my floors sparkling!

I secured services of this company through a Groupon. Met with the business owner Rodney and let him know the specifics of what I was looking for regarding cleaning and grouting. He came by and did the initial work; saying he would have to come back on another day to complete the job.
Well, he never came back, and after several attempts to contact him via text and phone over a few weeks, his last response was a text stating that he is «busy» and he has to check his schedule. Never heard from him after that. It has now been a month since he started his initial work and I was given no timeline for a finish date for the agreed upon work.
My thoughts: Stay away from this business. Stay very, very far away.
My message to the owner: If you can’t complete a job, don’t take any new business until you take care of your current customers. The lack of communication and follow-​up was horrible. Im a pretty tolerant person, and I know things «happen,» but don’t expect to crap all over a customer and expect to get away with it.

This is my first review — but had to write. It first started with visual inspection of what needed to be done. and follow up emails to schedule a time.
Next came the timely arrival — a couple minutes early.
I watched him at the beginning– but didnt have to after that. — cleaning grout in the kitchen was as new.
After the kitchen and entry way were completed. I asked if there was and way for him to do the master shower. I had two other companies try cleaning it — but the dark color remained. After Rodney completed efforts it looked a 100% better.
I am so pleased — I will use him in the future. When Needed.

I purchased a voucher online and I was able to schedule the service for 3 days later. Rodney was able to accomodate me with an 8 a.m. appointment. He showed up on time and explained the service. He was friendly and the entire visit took about 1 ½ hours. My tile floor had not had a deep clean since it was new, ten years ago! I had actually forgotten that my grout was grey and not black ;0. The original color was visible after the floor dried and Rodney went out of his way to show me sample colors for changing the color on the grout. I would totally recommend this place! Thanks Rodney.
