Bay Breakers

A very helpful staff that always has the answer to my questions and needs when it can’t be found elsewere!!!

I found Bay Breakers to be EXTREMELY helpful in locating a discontinued breaker. They were very diligent in making sure that they had located the correct breaker before it was purchased and shipped. They asked me to send pictures of the breaker I was replacing to make doubly sure that they were sending the correct size and configuration replacement. They searched their proprietary nationwide network of supplier warehouses to help look for the right replacement and found a warehouse that wasn’t too far from me to cut down on shipping time. We found Bay Breakers through the internet because our house was built in 1935 and had the original! breakers in the service box. They were fast! They were cheap! They had the right breaker and all was well!
Fast forward 10 years. We’re now in our RV, travelling around, and pfsht! a breaker that controls half the electrical in the RV starts popping every time we turn more than a light on. Emailed BB, sent a picture of the breaker box, got the breaker in 2 days, no extra shipping. Well, one thing being another, we took a while to replace it. You know how something starts working if you threaten it? Well, when we finally got around to changing breakers out, it was the wrong breaker. I emailed Sydney with our story, sent her even more pictures, and not only did she send the right breaker out, when I returned the first one, we got full credit immediately on it. So, we ordered the other breakers for our box instantly — just in case.

Good service. I found electrical parts at BB that I couldn t find elsewhere. They even parted out a big breaker and gave me some lugs that aren t available individually from the manufacturer.
Even discontinued parts (Zinsco!).
They buy used equipment (SE, distribution, breakers, disconnects).

I was in need of 2 breakers– Zinsco breakers and had heard about Bay Breakers from an electrician friend of my. I came in and purchased the breakers, but when I got home, I noticed I had only been charged for one. I called up and explained what had happened and that I wanted to pay for the 2^nd breaker. The salesman was quite appreciative, but I didn’t know how much. A couple of days later I received a package from Bay Breakers with coffee mugs, tee shirts, pens, note pads, and a bunch of other stuff. It was quite a surprise! Since then, I’ve come back whenever I need a hard to find breaker. They ALWAYS have the breakers I need and will always get my business. Burning up time hunting parts is no longer something I do looking for hard to find breakers. I just call Bay Breakers!

This business is a no-​nonsense way to get the electrical part you need. I’m an electrical idiot, but they explained the arcing problem, how to fix it, and supplied me with exactly the breaker I needed immediately. Sometimes from experts the help can seem condescending, but not here.
