Serving northern California from its offices located in Santa Clara, Stockton and Monterey, Blach Construction is an established, mid-​sized construction manager and commercial builder. History

Established in 1970.

During most of the 1970s, Blach constructed numerous office buildings and R&D facilities, education buildings and retail and distribution centers throughout the greater Bay Area. Experiencing significant growth during the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, The company built a variety of K-​12 facilities and produced many high-​tech manufacturing projects for clients including IBM, Westinghouse and Hewlett-​Packard. Throughout the ‘90s and into 2012, Blach has grown and prospered, typically employing 150. Following significant project and program awards, the company expanded its presence in California with the opening of two new permanent offices in 2007.

Under Mike’s leadership, Blach has been ranked #1 in the «Best Places to Work» competition in the greater Bay Area, won the AGC of CA Safety Award of Excellence (the top industry award for the best overall safety program), two Constructor awards (the industry’s equivalent to the Oscars), and several additional awards.
