Bruce Cotter, Scottish Bagpiper

Bruce performed at my dad’s funeral mass and I was nothing but impressed with his song choices and professionalism. It was easy to get him scheduled for the mass and his song choices were great. We wanted Irish folk tunes and not Amazing Grace which is what we received. According to the priest he arrived to the church well before it was his time to play and he patiently waited in the back. I am not sure that I will need his services again but if I did he would be the first bagpiper I called upon that’s for sure, thank you Bruce.

Bruce is as good as it gets. He recently performed for my father in laws memorial and his skill and professionalism were astounding. He arrived right on time, played for an hour and moved everyone that was there to honor our loved one. It was the highlight and extremely touching. The best I have heard. Thank you Bruce!

Bruce performed for my mothers funeral today… He was truly Amazing! He was so kind and very personable to my personal needs for this occasion. His abilities are tremendous I could have listened to him play music all day! Highly recommended ! Thank you Bruce helping me make a lasting memory forever…

Having lots of Scottish folks in kilts for your wedding is fine, but you really need a piper. We started working with Bruce and Jaci about 6 months before the wedding. As we hadn’t done a formal wedding before, we didn’t really know how a piper would fit into it, but Jaci had some great ideas about how Bruce would be able to be part of the day.
On the day of the wedding Bruce arrived promptly and we laid out how we wanted to do the ceremony in about 10 minutes flat. Never mind this rehearsal nonsense… we just worked it out on the day of and it worked fantastic.
We had spent a lot of time making a wedding music list that we were going to play at intervals throughout the day so as to give Bruce a rest from the pipes. When we finally collapsed in a heap at the end of the wedding day, we realized we had never played any of the music and that Bruce had just played all the way through, and it was great.
