I usually love this place. The burritos are bomb, the salsa has just the right amount of kick. But my last experience here wasn’t too great. I ordered a vegetarian taco with no cheese. I got home, ready to eat, come to find that my taco is separated and sprinkled with cheese! This would’ve been great if I was looking for a taco salad with sprinkled cheese.

Any place that can take 15 burrito orders at 8PM at night has my respect. Friendly service and the order was correct. The guy behind the counter went the extra mile and got me a catering tray and offered to help me to my car. Huge thank you! Of course, when I got home I had to try the chorizo– super oozing with cheese and it was just as I had remembered them. The ratio of cheese, beans, egg and meat/potato(because we also ordered papas burritos) was perfect.

I’m going to give this place a five star rating. It’s cheap, pretty fast, and the food is very good. The only issue here is that it does get crowded sometimes because of the reasons listed above. Plan accordingly, if you go at lunchtime or right at 6PM it’s going to be busy. You can call in your order here for pickup beforehand so that’s a plus! What I really like about this place is that you can get their menu items a la carte and they’re excellent like that. I usually go for the crispy tacos by themselves with a side of the fresh salsa and chips.

Not too bad. I wish I could get veggies in my burrito in addition to or as a replacement option for other ingredients. And I need more guac in my super burrito. There was barely any sour cream, pico, or guac.

I have worked down the street from here for years and never tried it out until today and boy have I been missing out! The regular asada burrito and horchata is what I ordered and the horchata is very good, not to sweet or watered down. The burrito was tasty and had just the right amount of everything, meat is not salty like most places. Customer service was EXCELLENT! The guy who helped me was so nice as if he was having the best day of his life and nothing could stop him from smiling. He gave me a number to place at my table and 2 minutes after I sat down the food came out, I like the swift service!

Reading the previous reviews, seems like I’m not the only one with the«accidental» charge for chips and salsa. I definitely asked, «How much?» for chips and salsa and he completely went through with the regular burrito and chips charge = $ 10. It’s not like I can’t afford this. It’s just horrible customer service– and this is coming from someone who has worked in the restaurant business before. Usually, I understand, but«miscommunication» can’t be a repeating excuse.

This place is good for a quick bite. Fair pricing and clean restaurant. They have a friendly staff too. The salad bar could be bigger and offer more selection but it’s decent. I’d come back for a to go order. The mini burritos are cheap and tasty.

This is the second taqueria that doesn’t include free chips with their food! Really? The service is so poor too and they are in a great center on Camden Avenue. High price for small quantity, is there any old fashion taqueria in this area?

It really has been awhile for me since I have been to this location. My wife usually gets take-out for the Ohana(Family in Hawaiian) and does the pickup. Since my wife was craving for Burrito Factory after we did some shopping we quickly drove here. To my surprise on this sunny Memorial Day, it was packed with many hungry customers and was great to see many people here. Staff is friendly & very attentive to order taking and servicing of the tables inside and outside. I am not sure if they still have free WI-FI here as my phone didn’t pick up their router unless they have changed the password. I didn’t bother to ask either. However the free chips are back and is a welcome sign since my last review. There are new décor on the wall as the last time I was here they had framed poster prints(luckily someone took a pic to show what it was like in the past). They now they have wall décor of hearts with wings and a large heart that looks very Catholic like. Or someone’s next tattoo idea As usual my wife and I order our Fajita and Enchilada Platters. To my surprise the fajitas are now served on a separate grill plate while the rest of the items like the rice, beans etc are served in small bowls. Food is always good and very satisfying. As always… Enjoy!

Fast and consistently good food. Clean casual restaurant with good service. The salsa bar is clean and fresh. A bonus is that the serve chips with most orders. If they forget, just ask. I like the outdoor seating because it has umbrellas so it isn’t too hot. Definitely worth coming back.

I ordered a regular burrito. The employee asked if I wanted salsa and chips for an extra dollar. I clearly replied«No thank you.» She charged me for them anyway and I didn’t realize why the total was so expensive until she brought the chips and salsa to our table. I admit, it was partly my fault for not checking the receipt; but it shouldn’t have gotten to that point. I was clear with my order. The burrito I ordered also fell apart about halfway through and became a complete mess. All in all, I think this place is hit or miss because there have been times where the service has been a bit better. NOTE: Their regular sized burritos are 8 $, which is a little expensive to me.

I was craving for fresh mexican food and looking for one nearby my workplace. Of course I searched my favorite app Unilocal =). I decided to order the Super burrito with chicken. When I took my 1st bite, the chicken was not as tasty as I thought. I guess next time I’ll just order steak instead.

I am a serious fan of their fresh salsa here! We bought food to go, and standing around looking at their salsa bar, I decided we need to get a small bag of chips and salsa($ 2.88 or so for the small chip and small container of salsa). My husband and I cleaned the salsa out pretty quickly(he put a lot in his burrito and I just ate it with chips). Delicious. The service here was great, and the food overall was not bad. I had 2 enchilada plate and those to to go sides of rice and beans were very small though. The enchilada sauce however was really good. I asked for pastor in mine, but I think that was a bad choice as it was as little too dry for the enchilada. I think had I asked for chicken or something, it would be better. The pastor was good on it’s own, just not in an enchilada. My husband’s super burrito didn’t look too super though hahaha Kind of small relative to other burritos we’ve had. But I think the taste was great when you constantly fill it with salsa. The price is reasonable, but nothing worth raving about. $ 10⁄11 for a plate(2 enchilada) and $ 7⁄8 for a burrito.

At this point, the food is really closer to 2 stars, but I’m sticking with the 3 because of nostalgia – I’ve been frequenting this place for a long time. Shoot, I used to be able to nab a bean and cheese burrito and two tacos for under $ 3. Then again, that was back in the 90s, the good ol’ days. The chicken tamale is probably the best, most consistent thing on the menu, IMO. I ask for extra sauce, then dip everything else in the sauce(including chips, quesadillas, etc.). The workers there are always nice, though, which is a big plus. Ahh, I miss the good ol’ days.

This place used to be good. Their chips are old, weird things end up in their burritos. As a long time customer, I felt compelled to write a review to warn people. The burrito I just are was full of chicken bones and almost broke a tooth. I almost went back there to toss the thing on their counter but decided instead to write a review.

Got out of work late and had a craving for Chipotle since I’m trying to go healthy but I wanted Mexican. Wah, it was closed but Burrito Factory in the same plaza was still open. Place was almost empty except for one couple when I walked in 15 minutes before they closed. I know, I am that person. I’m sorry. I ordered a Super carne asada burrito with no beans and added lettuce and one chicken enchilada togo. It came out in less than 10 minutes and they have a condiment stand next to the fountain drinks. My favorite is the green sauce, it has a good kick. I wanted to try the fresh salsa and the chipotle/creamy sauce but it was closing time and I didn’t know how long it’s been sitting out. Survived the trip home to Sunnyvale without getting gross and soggy. +1 The enchilada was okay, I think I should have ordered it with the green sauce not the red. The red was smokey and a little bitter for my taste. The burrito was a decent size for being $ 8. I ate half of it and put the other half in my fridge for tomorrow. The meat was cooked well and the rice was well flavored. I wasn’t a fan of the cheese they put in, it overpowered the meat and the overall flavor. My parents live on the East Side, I know good Mexican food. I would go here again if I was craving Mexican at work, but if I wanted real Mexican food I’d make the trek to Story and King.

Yikes! 1.5 Stars I came here on my lunch break since i was at the Wells Fargo next door. After eating here, i thoroughly regret not just driving down a little more in the same parking lot to go to Chipotle instead. =X I ordered a regular Al Pastor burrito, no beans and a horchata. There were lots of people inside the restaurant but nobody standing in front of me when i ordered. It took them about 10 minutes to get me my burrito. I don’t know if I’m spoiled living in East San Jose and having a cornucopia of good mexican restaurants on every corner but geez. Never knew the day would come where i would taste a bad burrito. The burrito was BLANDDDD! So flavorless that i had to drench the burrito in tons of salsa just to have some taste to get through eating the burrito. Normally I never get extra sauce because i’m used to eating at Araujo’s or La Costa where their Al Pastor is jam packed with flavor that you dont even need sauce. Luckily I got a container full of salsa before leaving this place just to help me get through half of my burrito. Unfortunately i stopped attempting to eat the other half. Their horchata was on the watered down side and not as sweet as horchata normally is. I gave this place an extra 0.5 stars for having wifi. But seriously, I’ll pass on this place next time. You can get a way more satisfying meal for $ 10 someplace else around that area.
