Specialties
I teach children and adults the basics of sewing, working with patterns, and fashion illustration. Whether it’s to take your first steps into the exciting world of fashion design, or just hem a pair of pants, I can teach you how in a fun relaxed environment. So dust off that old sewing machine you’ve been afraid of and frustrated with for so long and come let me show you how to use it. Don’t have one? No problem I’ve got plenty for you to use.
How about a ladies night in? Grab your girlfriends, pick a date and a project and let’s sew!
Thinking about fashion design as a career? My classes are a great introduction to what you’ll be learning in design school. My curriculum is based on what I learned at FIDM in Los Angeles and ESMOD in Paris.
I have worked in the fashion industry for over 30 years, and love kids as
much as I do fashion! I have after school classes, Saturday sewing, summer camps, and do unique fashion birthday parties.
History
Established in 2010.
I’ve been teaching fashion design since 2006 at various schools in the Bay Area such as Community School of Music and Art, Arthouse Kids, West Valley College, and A Work of Heart in Willow Glen.
I decided to open my own place and now teach classes in my beautiful studio at 1702 Meridian Ave #K in Willow Glen.
