Established in 2007.

I Chris Griffin Started out as a Lead Primestar Technician/​Installer in 1987 Installing Satellite Systems at more than 150 Radio Shack Stores in Los Angeles… Later becoming a Lead Directv and Dish Network Installer for TCI Communications and Installing more than 500 Satellite Systems in Customers Homes and a Lot of Commercial Installs for Game Stop Stores around the San Francisco Bay Area. I Then Opened my own Custom Installation Company in 2007.

I was in a hurry to provide coax cables for one of the tenants in my commercial office building and found CG Wiring on Unilocal.Chris came through and a whole lot more.
A new tenant had Comcast come out on to find out that there was no usable coax, so they rescheduled it. I needed to get this done for them right away. After learning about my situation, Chris agreed to work outside of his normal hours to help me out.
Experienced, dependable, reasonably priced and just a pleasant guy to work with. I have some home wirings to be done soon, and I will definitely contact CG wiring.

Hmmmm… not sure if we caught Chris on an off day since he was «too tired to work». We called Chris with the intention of paying him $ 75 per hour (the fee he informed us he charges) to fix the connection issues with the wires that our contractor uninstalled.
He arrived at our home 30 minutes late with no phone call. Then he critiqued our equipment stating it was «old». Most people would love to have the system we have and no other person in the industry has ever stated that our equipment was in need of updating. We have Martin Logan speakers, Klipch sub, Yamaha received (2 years old), and a Samsung 65″ 3D TV. My brother happens to be a manager at Video Only and has installed hundreds of custom systems, he just could not come out until the weekend and we wanted to get the TV working again. So $ 75 was not bad to have things back to normal.
Our mistake. Chris commented on the entire system, including how the wires were run. I am sure this was leading into having to rerun all the wires/​cables to be his standard. We just called him to get the cables put back correctly, so that the cable and TV would work.
Why come out if you are too tired. Then to say your booked out a week, when the job will take about 30 minutes is stupid. Low and behold our neighbor came by and assisted! Took him 10 minutes and he works for Apple.

Chris installed an amazing 7.1 surround sound system in my living room walls and ceiling. He has also installed 2 patio speakers allowing me to run multiple zones entertaining guest during the warm summer days. After such a great experiencing with CG wiring I have called Chris back to my home to install bathroom light fixtures, electrical outlets and trouble shoot many electrical issues I have found in my new purchased home.

After the work is complete Chris will walk you thorough any problem over the phone or come back over if needed. He really takes pride and stands by his work.
The cost and quality of service given by Chris can’t be found anywhere in the Bay Area.
Thanks Chris for allowing me to show off my new 80in TV and surround system to friends and family.

Chris and Alex were great. We had can lights put in 2 rooms. One that didn’t have a crawl space or attic space, and everything was clean and seamless. We got to talking, and after he showed us his portfolio of HDTV/​Surround sound install, we signed up. I remember him showing us a places like the COO of Intero Realty and Paul Mitchell. I know these guys did a lot of work for most of the clubs in San Jose too.
We got a great deal on a 50″ thru CG Wiring, and he worked with our Bose and other components to get everything looking like a showroom. The cuts in the sheet rock were covered and texture was sprayed on in one day. We just had to finish-​paint that spot, and Chris made an evening call to calibrate our tv’s color/​sound.
