I’ve been to this place 3 or 4 times, because they are located very close to home. The first few times the service was passable. After today, never again! The guy damaged a very expensive graduation gown(as in cap and gown). There are areas where the fabric seems to have been snagged by an iron or some other form of machinery. Also, a press was used on the velvet area, creating marks and wrinkles. When I showed the guy the problems, he tried to quickly steam out the marks. The velvet did at least fluff up a little. The wrinkles remained. When I said that he had damaged a garment that cost me over $ 400, he said that was nothing, that he worked on garments much more expensive than that. «It’s nothing, nothing…» he kept saying. Terribly rude and unapologetic about very poor work. The gown didn’t smell very clean either. This is the second time that I suspected that a garment(formerly a coat) was sponged off rather than dry cleaned. There is fine lint on the gown that I will need to remove myself. I gave him additional time with the order, so there was no excuse for this. If he really did dry clean it, he mixed colors and/or overstuffed the machine. Though my dissatisfaction was clearly legit, he didn’t even offer to reduce the price. If $ 400 is «nothing,» surely he could have knocked off a few dollars for poor work… or perhaps he’d like to compensate me for the damaged gown. Like several others mentioned here, they always have a hard time finding my orders and did again today, though I gave them the numeric receipt. I tried having an alteration done there once a few years ago, and he did a poor job on that as well so I’ve taken my alterations elsewhere. My final assessment of this business is that it’s a disaster. I will never be back and will warn others in the neighborhood away. It sounds good — the idea of «green» dry cleaning. But unless you want damaged clothing that perhaps wasn’t even actually cleaned, stay away! I’d rather drive across town than deal with incompetence, and the rudeness was unforgivable.

I love this shop. One of the best places that is organic and doesn’t use horrible chemicals!

Went here twice. Both times my clothes were not ready when promised. First time they had a hard time locating my item. Also they are overpriced. Went to another place, better service and less expensive. I will not be coming back.

About a year ago I leave my pants to have the latch replaced. When I came back to pick up my pants the attendant said to come back later. so a few days pass and I came back still he could not find my pants. He wanted to see my receipt which I had already paid for the work in advance. I came back again just to be told they were not finshed yet. So I forget about it a few more weeks pass by and still no paints finally I find the receipt and take it down and they say they no longer have my pants sorry. I will no longer use their service thanks for stealing my 90 dollar pants plus 19 to fix them.

This place is great. I’ve been using their dry cleaning service weekly for over a year and everything has been perfect — quality, price and service. I’ve also used their alterations service and the dress was perfect. I feel badly that I don’t know their names but it looks like a husband and wife team and they are so hardworking, reliable and pleasant to deal with, it is just the kind of business that makes you feel good to be associated with.

Great people! I would highly recommend anytime. They definitely do a great job. I also like that they recycle and I can take back the hangers. If you pay cash they add in a discount. It’s a bit of savings and worth it.

I highly recommend C&AS. They have done my dry cleaning and tailoring for eighteen years. Great work, nice people, reasonable prices. Family owned and operated, they care about their work. Like every dry cleaner, they occasionally get swamped. If I need things by a certain date, I touch bases the day before to make sure it’s ready and they go the extra mile to get it ready — alterations, dry cleaning. Ramon comes through.

I don’t need to go to get dry cleaning done often because I rarely wear those kinds of clothes, but I’m glad I came here to get them done. I needed a whole bunch of things done — 5 shirts dry cleaned, and 5 pants, and some just for ironing, too. Alterations(zippers/buttons) on 3 also. Instead of tallying everything up one by one, he just gave me a great deal on everything. Fast service, too. And if you call them on the phone, they answer promptly. They did for me. And it’s a nice, small shopping center right off the 87 freeway /Alma exit — 1 exit from downtown San Jose.

This place has wonderful customer service and my clothing always comes back looking better than when I dropped it off. They do great alterations on jeans. I especially like their original hemming for designer jeans. I trust this place with all my dry cleaning.

Let’s face it. It’s hard to find a good drycleaner. I have been to many of them and this is my favorite by far. Their service is fast, reasonably priced and of excellent quality. Easy in/out, no hassle, no gimmicks and very friendly owners. I have not had one complaint and I have been going there for 5 years now. It’s so refreshing to find a business that does it’s job well. Plus, I feel good about supporting a local, family owned business!

OMG! Worst place ever. My boyfriend and I dropped off his suit to have it altered and the pants pressed. I went to pick them up and I only received the Jacket but no pants.(First it took him like 10 min to find the jacket, and I am the one that spotted it for him.) The wedding we had to go to was the next day and we had to go buy him new pants the morning of… That’s just the beginning my mother used to go to him and stopped because he gave her 150.00 pants to another customer and when she came in to pick them up the owner(Ramon) told her that she had already picked them up. Thank goodness she kept the receipt because he didn’t believe her otherwise. Needless to say he told her to come back in a week, she came back and still no pants… he brushed it off as being funny or something! Horrible place!!! Your stuff will come up missing!

I agree with the alteration part. They did a good job on about 5 pants that I took in to get hemmed up. They charged about $ 9 each. The bad thing was that they asked me by when I needed it, I came in, and they were not ready yet. I agree that they could have called. Another time I took my husband’s dress shirt in. They did a good job. I think I will return for the dry cleaning. Maybe the altercations if I give them two weeks to get it done.

I like this place — the prices are good — the people are friendly — my clothes are now clean!
