Mario is a real pro-​I have to transfer titles as part of my duties as a trustee for my friends estate. This is an extremely exhausting job to do, emotionally and time wise. Mario spent an hour with me today to get all the forms filled out properly, he has a lot of work to do for me in the next few days. I could not imagine how much time and stress this would cost me on my own with the DMV sending me in circles-​wrong forms, etc
Unless your time is worth little, please save yourself the stress and let these people take care of it for you. Life is too short to let the DMV suck part of if away!

Mario is great. He was able to do the impossible and get the year of the car I have changed to 1912. He inspected it and was able to determine that this was indeed a 1912 versus a 1911. Thanks again

I came to change my plate. Mario is really nice. He help me went through the whole procedure even when I forget to do grog test. I mean he told me the nearest frog test site. It only took me20 minutes to get new plate. You can never expected it in DMV.

Prior to my purchase of an untitled project vehicle, I had called CHP to verify that the VIN was clean (not stolen, junked, etc.). I was told that the vehicle had fallen off of DMV records, which is common, and that I would need, among other things, a certified VIN Verification Co. to have a look at the vehicle. I had initially contacted Conar to sort out the VIN verification and was pleasantly surprised to learn that they would handle the compilation, preparation and submission of all of DMV paperwork necessary to create a duplicate title — and there was a complicated laundry list of forms requiring no less than 2 separate visits to the DMV to do so. My contact at Conar, Mario, phoned me within minutes of hiring their services to let me know that the CHP had it wrong and that the vehicle was still registered as ‘Non Op’ to an individual whom I had never heard of. Mario was calm and confident that this would not pose an issue and went to work explaining the new procedure to obtain title to the vehicle. Needless to say I was a bit unsettled to receive this news (at this point I had put several thousand dollars into the vehicle based on the assumption that it had simply fallen off of DMV records) but Mario’s constant positive attitude, confidence in what he was doing and knowledge of the process kept me feeling reassured during a 31 day hold. Mario checked in with me throughout the hold to keep me apprised of any new info and sure enough, just as he had said, the brand new reg. card and plates arrived at my door within his projected timeframe. The process, in all, required several trips to DMV as well as several undoubtedly lengthy phone calls, compiling and mailing forms to myself and the previously registered owner and finally mailing me my plates and reg card — all of which Conar did for an EXTREMELY reasonable fee.

A friend introduced me to Conar Auto when I moved from Chicago to San Jose. They helped me register my out of state car, and a few other registration issues I had. They are knowledgeable, and extremely helpful with any of my issues. They understand the DMV requirements and do so with exceptional customer service.
I agree with the other reviewers… I want these guys to stay in business forever!

First of all I’m writing this review so that these guys stay in business forever, I hope they never go out of business.
I went into their store today, first time, to register an out of state vehicle that I bought yesterday, I was in and out of their in less than 20 minutes and got my license plate and registration done. They filled out all the forms including the vehicle identification form and everything for me. So easy.
I did this for my self 3 years ago and it was a nightmare dealing with the DMV and even AAA member services (they can’t do complicated DMV transactions), but with Conar (Mario helped me), the entire experience was fast enjoyable and above all else affordable.
These guys are professional, knowledgeable and totally dependable. SO amazing, to have my car (out of state, a 1963 Chevy Corvaire) registered in one afternoon with no headaches or multiple visits to the DMV…
I wish I had known about them 3 years ago when I had to register my 1974 BMW.

It is my first time to write a review in Unilocal.The agent, Mario, is very very professional and patient. You can consult with them and get detailed explanation for car registration problem. I relied 100% on him and he saved me much much time and energy which could in turn be devoted into my business and life.
I leased a 2015 FORD Escape from Michigan and need to get my registration done in CA within 20 days. When I first went to DMV, the representative there asked me for $ 3K tax (damn DMV). However, since I only leased the vehicle, I should not and could not pay that much amount. Then I contacted my leasor, Ford Credit for help. Neverthless, the representative told me they can only start processing my request after receiving confirmation from DMV (This is an entire lie, as proved later…)
At that time, I had no idea how to get my car registered… It seemed nothing I could do to put things on track. After some search on the Internet, I found Conar Auto Registration Services. I tried my luck there. The office is located in the 2^nd floor of a small building (1668). It takes some time to find the room but fortunately I do not need to wait. (again, waiting in DMV is a disaster to me…) After listening to my story, Mario quickly came up with two solutions, either the lessor should give me power of attorney or sign the REG343 form. Therefore, with confidence, I called Ford Credit and explained the whole thing. (once per day) Luckily, one representative was knowledgeable and mailed the POA to me. I handed the POA to Mario and he got everything done for me.
BTW, Mario also got a temporary permit for me to avoid late penalty.

I lost my registration card, i forgot to change my address before the DMV registration notice sending out., and my renewal was on due!!! Why did I so messed up? LOL!!!
So I searched on Unilocal and found Conar, initially I was doubt about this because only a few reviews even 90% of them are 5 stars… so I went to DMV first, «ppl mountain ppl sea», and if you needed a registration service, you must make an appointment first??? There was no walking-​in service!!! So I gave up and drove to the Conar to gave it a try… Mario was there, he was so nice and listened to my story, helped me get a new registration within 5 minutes, change the address and a sticker for immediately use… I feel like a DMV VIP… LOL!
I highly recommend this service when you have the similar situation…

I recently moved to CA from Massachusetts and registered my vehicle through Conar. Mario was very helpful. I took the required documents and the was out on my way with new plates in 15 mins. I went there after work and was delayed due to traffic but Mario waited for me even after closing time and helped me get done with the registration. Very friendly guy. Definitely recommend this place for the services they provide.

Very fast service, got my registration renewed and my sticker in less than a minute. Will come back!

If you dread the thought of going to the DMV and have had nothing but nightmares there, you are in for the most pleasant surprise.
Whether it be for an out of state registration, or just routine paperwork, you will have the most pleasant experience you can imagine doing your registration in a whole new way!

Great service — made registering my car easy as pie. Answered all my questions. Highly recommended.

I had to write a review even though I have never actually purchased services from this business. I purchased a new vehicle and decided to sell my old one, rather than getting peanuts for it by trading it in to the dealership. The sale of my old vehicle was complicated by the fact that I had just paid it off and had not received the title. The previous finance company has a policy that requires them to hold the title for 30 days if the vehicle was not paid off in cash, but I had already sold the vehicle and accepted payment. This left me in a rather uncomfortable position with the person that I sold the vehicle to (a friend).
At this point I was rather desperate to find some resolution, so I called Conar Registration Services and spoke to Mario. Mario was very helpful, informative and seemed genuinely happy to take the time to explain (over the phone, without me paying for services) exactly what I needed to do in order to allow the purchaser to register the vehicle while waiting for the title. You really don’t see a willingness to help unless there is payment these days, so I have to give this business 5 stars.
I will try Conar Auto Registration Services before anyone (including the DMV) whenever I need to deal with vehicle registration!

My husband bought a Mustang on eBay and needed to register it in California. Mario and everyone there were super friendly and helpful. There were even some issues with completing the transfer, and they followed through until it was done.
So, was it worth $ 49 for them to do the leg work? Absolutely! The DMV, as everyone knows, is stressful. Appointments are hard to get, and if you don’t have one, you will wait at least an hour, maybe two, to talk with an often surly agent. Compare that to dealing with friendly people and not waisting your day. Worth every penny.

Great. Super quick and easy. I walked in and in less than 15mins walked out the door with registration and tags for two motorcycles. Even with an appointment at the DMV you couldn’t do that!

The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5? Price. You do have to pay for the convenience– $ 49 for their service to register your vehicle. It was expensive, but not having to take time out of work, not having to deal with the DMV pretty much makes it worth it. It would have been nice to get a break on my second bike but hey… we all have to make a living I guess. Even though it’s kinda pricey, I’ll be back.
