Erica is amazing. We spent more on photography than anything else (aside from catering) but it was well worth it. She was great to work with-​very patient with both of us in the planning process and very patient with our respective family members, as well. We loved Erica about two minute into meeting her because she very clearly cares a lot about what she does and takes great pride and responsibility in doing it really, really well. She is very organized and hard-​working.
My favorite thing about working with Erica was that she never asked us to be or act differently than we already are, but instead captured us and the people we love in a very natural and comfortable way. She never told me to smile more (on one of the most stressful days ever) and I so appreciated that-​she let us be who we are and made that look beautiful (even though it’s not a lot of the time).

Erica took our engagement photos at the beach. She was so easy to work with, the time we spent flew by, and it was so fun! When we got the proofs I expected there would be a few photos we’d really like and want to download — but to my surprise, we loved close to all of them! The way Erica uses backgrounds and light in her photos is really special. And she’s great at capturing the love and closeness in a relationship. Those two aspects along with the fact that she’s a lovely person to work with make her an amazing photographer. I recommend Erica for your engagement, your wedding, or any other event you’d like to remember with love.

Erica shot our engagement and wedding photos this past May 2014. I have admired her work for years now. I love how she captures both the beauty and love between the couples she works with. I love that her website is so easy to navigate, her pricing is listed and love all the pictures from past shoots she has done! I can’t even find the words to express how great Erica is. My husband and I hired her for our wedding this September, and she was the absolute perfect photographer for our special day!
I got to meet Erica for the first time in person for a pre-​wedding meeting to discuss how the day would run, and different ideas that I had my heart set on. She welcomed all of my ideas, took tons of notes, and was just as excited as I was! She provided me with a helpful wedding day timeline that was seriously a life saver!!! For a bride that loves lists, this made the photography portion of the day SO much easier to understand. It was such a great feeling to know that our photographer was as detail oriented as I am, and was putting true time and genuine care into our day! Her personality is so bubbly and so happy that its impossible to not absolutely love her.
On our wedding day, she AGAIN was my saving grace! Before the ceremony I was completely stressed and overwhelmed — she was an amazing calming energy that kept me smiling, laughing, and beyond excited to marry the love of my life. She brought an assistant with her who was just as helpful and upbeat. For how fast the day went, Erica was able to be five steps ahead of us the whole day! She never missed a beat or special moment. And future brides — if you’re looking for a photographer that will not be obnoxiously in your way — Erica is the best! She was present enough to let me know she was capturing our day, but she NEVER was obtrusive or in the way — heck, there are moments that I didn’t even see her! But I knew she was there, and her photographs prove it.
Speaking of photographs — She truly brought out the beauty in us. Being the photo-​fanatic of my friends and family, I’ve always hidden behind the camera and I’ve never had a picture where I thought, ‘WOW I look good!’ But holy cow. Erica gave me the experience of having that feeling. Her photographs truly captured the beauty in me, the gorgeousness of my tough & rumble husband, and the joy and love in all of my family and friends. These pictures are ones that I will love and cherish forever, and not just because they’re of my wedding day — but because she caught true, amazing emotion in a photojournalistic style. I can’t express how much of a huge fan I am of her work; she is absolutely being talented. This woman is gifted!
I plan asking Erica to capture all of our upcoming milestones — from maternity pictures to family portraits to anniversaries to renewing our vows — I’ve found the perfect photographer, and I highly, highly recommend her to you!!!

A consummate professional! I didn’t book Erica, or even meet her personally. But I had contacted several photographers with my crazy crazy small budget and criteria (morning ceremony, evening reception, 5 hours of nothing in between. 3 hours photography service in the morning requested for this $ amount) and Erica was the ONLY one that honored me with a reply. Even though her minimum was more than I could allot from my budget, I think the fact that she reached out with an open dialogue and attempted to work something out with me spoke volumes about her professionalism and warm personality. And look at her portfolio– her photos are beautiful and intiimate! For the level of artistry, I think her going rate is very very reasonable. If my wedding had been planned differently, I would hire her in a snap.

Erica is a fantastic photographer! My husband and I hired her to be the photographer for our September 2011 wedding. About six months before the wedding we did an engagement shoot with her. It was a great experience and a chance for all of us to get to know each other before the big day. At our engagement shoot, we were really impressed with how positive and encouraging Erica was. She is very passionate about her work and it shows! Neither my husband or I consider ourselves to be very photogenic but we love our engagement pictures. Erica even let our session go for almost an hour longer than we had paid her for because the lighting and location were so great! We used one of the pictures from our engagement session for our save the date card and received a lot of compliments on it from our wedding guests.
Leading up to our wedding day, Erica was extremely professional. She was easy to get in contact with whenever we had a question and did a lot of behind-​the-​scenes coordinating with our wedding coordinator in order to make the timeline of our big day run smoothly. She made sure to ask me if there were any shots in particular that I wanted her to capture on the wedding day and also got a list from us of important family members that we wanted family photos with.
Erica was great to work with again on our wedding day. She arrived on time and well prepared for the day, along with an assistant (her husband that day, who was great as well). Erica was willing to do anything to get the shot — including laying on the ground or using a step stool that she brought. We were really impressed with how quickly she was able to get through our family photos in between our ceremony and reception. Her efficiency was appreciated as it allowed all of us to enjoy the cocktail hour we had planned for the guests. She also had great ideas about the best places at our venue to take pictures and where the lighting would be the best for our first look photos.
We were thrilled to receive over a thousand photos from our wedding day. Erica captured all of the details of our day and got some really great shots! She is truly an artist. You will love working with her and have beautiful photos to treasure for years to come.

We found Erica online and met with her to discuss photographing our wedding. When we met Erica, we were very impressed with her portfolio as well as her professionalism. Compared to other photographers we had met with, Erica was the clear choice for us.
A few months later, Erica took our engagement photos. Though the session was only supposed to last an hour and a half, Erica kept shooting for over two hours because the outdoor sunset was so beautiful! We are so grateful as some of the later photos are some of our favorites. The pictures came out beautifully & were sent to us very quickly after the session.
Leading up to our wedding, Erica was clear about what she needed to make the photo process run smoothly the day of. She requested we prepare a photo list and I am so glad she did! It kept everyone organized in the mad rush to take pictures after the ceremony.
The day of the wedding, Erica and her assistant were both very professional and accommodating. They were warm and friendly & the easy conversation between us kept my husband and I smiling for all the pictures. She was able to capture the love and joy my husband and I share without making us feel cheesy during the process. She laughed with us and made it a fun process.
Finally, I have to applaud Erica’s amazing talent as a photographer. We had our engagement pictures done in July and our wedding was in December. Though the lighting was very different on the days she photographed us, Erica’s work is all absolutely fabulous. She truly captured the day and what it meant to us.

My fiancé and I found Erica when searching on the internet for a wedding photographer. She was the first photographer whose pictures we loved. Check out her website and blog– amazing! I wish we’d have stopped looking after finding Erica. Instead we diligently researched dozens of photographers, and met with a handful of them, including Erica. All were very skilled. However, no one could top Erica. If you are looking for a wedding photographer and have found Erica, your search is done. Save yourself some time and book her. Erica is exactly what we were looking for in a photographer. Her pricing is competitive and her photographs stunning. When we met her in person we were even more impressed. She is delightful– so kind, yet professional at the same time. The albums she creates are beautiful. You can tell by her pictures, and when meeting her in person, that she has an eye for detail. Erica is flexible and wants to understand what is important to the couple, rather than some photographers who are attached to their «vision.» At the same time, if you don’t have specific ideas, she has the experience to guide you toward incredible pictures.
Recently, Erica took our engagement pictures. We had such a great time. Erica made us feel relaxed and kept us laughing the whole time. There is such variety to the pictures, and we look natural and happy. Seriously, stop your research and pick Erica. We are so pleased to have her as our photographer!

you know what the b in erica b stands for? BEST! haha, cheesy, i know. but really, she is the best photographer! i loved working with her, and i absolutely love the pictures that she took.
erica took family pictures of me, my husband, and my 8-​month old son. she is so nice and sweet and easy to work with. our hour together just flew by! she is such a talented and gifted photographer. the pictures from that session are gorgeous!
as a mother, watching your child grow up is such a happy experience. but it’s also a sad one because you know that soon he’ll never be the adorable little baby he is today. but having someone like erica capture this fleeting moment in time so beautifully, i feel like we have his babyhood covered! the pictures of him are precious, and i will treasure them always.

Erica is an amazing wedding photographer. I had the pleasure of working with her recently and I just absolutely love her style and work. I personally do not like being in front of the camera but she makes you feel super comfortable and gives you lots of encouragement so that your pictures come out beautifully. Erica is great! My company hired her to shoot a client of ours and were very pleased at the results. She gave us all the images within several weeks, was on-​time, kind, and has a sharp eye. I have never used Erica for a wedding, but have attended several weddings she shot. She captures the day and makes brides feel at ease. Can’t say anything bad about her!

We live in southern Cali but were having a wedding in Sacramento, I stumbled across Erica on the Web and loved her style. We met with a few photographers in the area but decided on Erica due to her charismatic, kind, and genuine personality. She brought us a few samples of her work and introduced us to our new favorite tea place in Sacramento. We really clicked with her.
On the big day Erica was on time in such a great mood and really did amazing work. She captured every moment of the day her photos are truly amazing. I can’t imagine using anyone else Erica is truly an artist.

We used Erica for our engagement pictures back in 2007 and were very happy. She had a lot of great ideas for poses and different locations, but also let us be creative with what we wanted to do. I’m not really a big fan of taking pictures, but Erica did a really good job of making us feel comfortable and it turned out to be a pretty fun afternoon.
We researched a few other photographers, and Erica’s prices were equal or better than all of them. Overall, a really good experience for my fiancé and I.
