‘m one of those «I LOVE WEDDING PLANNING» weird brides. So a wedding planner was not something I originally thought I needed. But when my wedding got to the size of potentially having 450 people I started to worry. I wanted everything: photobooth, 16 attendees, 2 locations, taco truck. So I did my research and had all of that. As the day got nearer I started to worry. I know I was organized and had my ducks in a row but I wouldn’t be able to execute all of those things for my own wedding. So I decided to hire a day of coordinator. Rachael from Euphoria was recommended by a friend.
I was nervous about how everything would pan out so I wanted to make sure someone was there as the single point of contact. Someone that could run the show and make sure I didn’t have to hear about all of the things that went wrong. When we first met it seemed promising. She said she would put together the schedule, contact all of the vendors, handle the money that needed to be given on the day of. Great!
My wedding turned out fantastic and was everything I wanted it to be. The only thing I heard throughout the day and after were complaints about my Coordinator. The reason I hired her was so I didn’t have to hear complaining about something going wrong, so it was definitely disheartening. ALL of the ushers were complaining about the way she was instructing them. My sister (Maid of Honor) told me multiple times she didn’t like the coordinator and would roll her eyes, one of my aunts even said she thinks I got ripped off (not knowing how much I paid) b/​c whatever she did she thought she could’ve done it better. Basically a lot of comments that I didn’t want to hear.
Some of the things that I felt could have been improved on in her service was mostly her attitude. Many of my guests didn’t felt she was approachable. She also forgot our shot glasses at the church which was luckily picked up by one of my aunts. After the reception a lot of the things were still left all over the tables which had to be picked up by mother and aunts. One of the main disasters of the service was w/​the taco truck. I instructed her to give them the initial 650 dollars and then go back every once and a while to see how they were doing on money, food, or crowd. If my guests needed more tacos then give the taco truck another 100 dollars and keep doing that until 1. the money ran out, 2. there were no more tacos or 3. People were done eating. Well come to find out she just gives the taco truck ALL of the money in the beginning. She later sent me an invoice that could’ve been made up. I’m pretty sure they just stayed there until they ran out of food. So I have no idea if I over paid or got a deal.
After the wedding I found a blog w/​our wedding on it. I know that she doesn’t have to let me know if she’s going to submit a wedding to a blog but I would’ve thought it would have been common courtesy for her to inform me. I worked very hard on my wedding and was very proud of the way it turned out. So although I don’t mind the submission it would have been nice to have been informed or asked if I would like to add anything to it.
After everything I sent Rachael a post evaluation. Because I felt if anything, it would be helpful for her future events. She took two weeks to respond b/​c of the taco invoice and apologized. If i was to do it over again, I probably wouldn’t have hired her but it didn’t ruin my wedding so I have no hard feelings w/​my decision.

WOW is all I have to say about Rachael from Euphoria Weddings and Events. I was blessed with EXCELLENT vendors for the most part, but I was especially blessed with the Best Wedding Coordinator of this era! Rachael BLEW ME AWAY! I couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator.
The journey leading up to the wedding took 8 months to plan… and let me emphasize, when I mean 8 months, I mean every single day for 8 months. Knowing how busy I was with law school, Rachael took it upon herself to plan my wedding and more. She was PHENOMENAL. She not only contacted my vendors and made appointments for me, but she also took care of any hiccups that arose with them. Trust me, there was one vendor who was especially difficult to work with, and Rachael took charge without me asking, and without me having to stress and deal with this vendor. Rachael made herself always available to me as well. We would have daily chats about the status of what needed to be done and what was complete. She was my support when I felt too tired to plan and kept me going!
Rachael is very organized and professional. She carries with her your files and receipts for vendors so that you are always informed about what the status of a particular item of your many items on your checklist is. She never lets the bride worry and never leaves the bride hanging.
She is always there when you need her — now this is something very unique about this Wedding Coordinator. I interviewed other coordinators who nickeled and dimed me and claimed that they charged by the second, for every call I made. Rachael? She was there in a heartbeat whenever I called her, even on weekends and late nights. When I told Rachael about my buyer’s remorse for my first dress, she offered to come with me to do a second round of searching for dresses, and assured me that my decision to purchase a second gown was okay. She was my personal cheerleader, on top of being my wedding coordinator.
The weeks leading up to the wedding proved to be the most stressful for me, especially with one particular vendor. Rachael had numerous last minute conference calls with me and my vendors to make sure every single detail was not overlooked and to make sure we were all on the same page.
The best part about Rachael — She executed my event so FLAWLESSLY! First, she created two timelines for me that detailed the minute by minute, hour by hour, play by play of the wedding day. Why did she create two timelines? Because we weren’t sure if it was going to rain on the day of wedding, we wanted to have a backup plan for photography and videography to accommodate the rain. Rachael was ready to execute either plan on the day of the wedding. She also coordinated with my wedding party and distributed the timelines to them so that everyone knew what to expect and what was expected of them on the day of the wedding. Rachael is so sensitive to the bride’s needs as well — she took care to make sure that I was always happy, fed and relaxed on the big day. it is these little details that Rachael paid attention to that made the day flawless. as indicated above, SHE BLEW ME, MY HUSBAND AND MY GUESTS AWAY. We started the ceremony on time, had our photography session done on time, and arrived at and started the ceremony on time. The wedding was so organized and there was nothing that I noticed that went wrong with my special day.
