Manish started driving part time when he was at San Jose State and then decided to offer the best transportation service in the Bay Area. So he started Excel Limousine Service with 1 car in 2004 and now has over 10 limos and many many happy customers.

I’ve been using another service for almost a decade for getting myself to and from SFO for business trips, and when one of their drivers went bat s – t crazy on me one morning spewing crazy religious nonsense, I decided it was time to find a new service.
They’re prompt, polite, and even dealt with me realizing I’d left my laptop at home one morning while almost to the airport.
Great folks, looking forward to using them for years to come.

BEWARE! This company is dishonest!
I called about a wedding package deal on their site for 14 passenger bus and was told first that the price is actually $ 620. Per the website (see pic) nowhere does it state that price is a base charge. In fact it’s all-​inclusive. When I clarified what I was reading of the site, I was told they could only do $ 380 for 3 hours instead of the 4 hours stated. Person I dealt with was named Riz. He then said he would need to have someone who deals with these types of events contact me later in the day. Well I never received a call so I followed up. Riz was not available so I explained our agreement. The guy says he’ll check if date is available in Sept next year without actually finding out the specific date and suddenly they just booked their entire fleet for that week.
Tried to ask for the owner who is also mentioned on their site and here on Unilocal but apparently «he no longer works there».

Wonderful service, beautiful cars, courteous and helpful drivers. We will definitely use this service, again. Recently, my husband and I needed to be at SFO before 6:30 AM, which meant we had to leave our house by 5:30. As early as this was, our driver was prompt and pleasant. The return flight — 3 weeks later — was early (hard to believe, I know), but our driver was waiting for us as we exited the secure area and even helped with the luggage. We’d been flying for over 15 hours, were parched and grumpy. He led us to his Lincoln Town Car, had water waiting for us and drove us home in comfort. Thank you, Excel Limo!

So far so good! Have used them twice and both times drivers were on time. Cars are very nice. Omir waited even though my flight was delayed over an hour. Victoria is a rock star in the office. You cannot beat the price very reasonable in this area.

We used Excel Limo for our trip to SFO on our way to Hawaii, and also for our pick-​up at the airport coming back home. Riz was our driver, and was extremely professional. There was a lot of traffic, and it was actually raining one of the days. He was an excellent and safe driver, which was a priority for us, and even supplied umbrellas. The SUV was newer and immaculately clean, stocked with bottled water for all of us. He was on time (even a few minutes ahead of schedule) for our early 6:00am drive to the airport. Excellent service all around. We will be happy to refer Excel to others, and will definitely use them again.

I was looking for a reliable car service to pick up my elderly parents from the San Jose Amtrak station and take them to their home in the Peninsula. I used Excel because of the positive ratings and I was not led astray. Everyone at the office was super helpful and responsive. I received quick replies via email. When we found out the train was delayed by half an hour, we called Lani and she arranged for a new driver at a later time. The day of the reservation we received a confirmation of the reservation along with the name and the phone number of the driver. This information made my parents, who had never used a car service before, feel much more comfortable. Thanks for a great experience!

Lani at Excel Limo is a rock star. I had Excel take care of transportation for my wedding last month, and I could not be happier with my pick. I gave Excel a call, since I didn’t need the typical 4 – 5 hour standby service– my ceremony and reception were at the same location, so it didn’t make sense to have a driver there for a stretch of time. Lani designed a plan that would work for me, and arranged for two limo transfers between my hotel and venue. She was very clear and communicative, and I was so pleased with how great she was at keeping us all on the same page. Our driver, David A., was also fantastic. He was waiting for us right on time, and was calm, collected, and professional dealing with our wedding day nerves! I highly recommend Excel.

Unfortunately, I did not have the positive experience of any of the other reviewers here. I travel quite a bit and have used car services all over the country. This was one of the worst.
While most car services have the driver waiting at baggage claim, Excel is supposed to contact the client after landing at SFO. I never received a call or text. I then had to call the dispatcher who contacted the driver. After another wait, the driver finally called. Instead of simply meeting me at baggage claim, he asked to be called after we got our luggage. Most drivers at least help with the luggage out to the car. Not Excel.
After obtaining our luggage, we called the driver. It was another 15 minute wait before the driver met us for pickup. No apologies were proffered.
The car was very clean, but I expect much more prompt and courteous treatment for a business trip. There are much better services to be had to/​from SFO.

Excel is great! I started using them for personal airport transfers back in 2008, after working with a few other sub-​par companies, and I’ve stuck with them ever since. Easy on-​line (or phone) reservation process. Prompt, friendly drivers. Clean cars. Competitive rates.
I recently used Excel for a number of transfers (airport transfers, day-​long shuttles, etc.) for a VIP executive meeting involving multiple venues and a few last-​minute changes and the experience was equally as positive. Thanks, Manish and team!

My update for Excel has been long overdue. I was recently picked up from my home to SFO. It was perfectly executed where they came on time, car was flawless inside and out and they provided me with bottles of water! The driver was professional and I felt comfortable during the whole trip. Excel is now my «go-​to» transportation not only to the airport but for other future events.

Excel really delivers on their promise! When I needed a ride home from SFO and help getting my luggage, I checked out limo services on Unilocal.All the reviewers were so positive about Excel, that I decided to give them a try. Wow! My flight was delayed 4 hours, and not only was the driver waiting for me in baggage claim, but his text letting me know he was there was the first thing I saw when I turned on my phone after landing. He waited patiently for many minutes as I was the last to crutch my way off the plane and catch my wheelchair.
He was beyond courteous, truly friendly and helpful. By company philosophy, Excel wants to get you home as quickly as possible, and did that. The limo itself was immaculate, as others have stated, and there were two bottles of water waiting for me. A welcome refreshment after a long day.
Excel is going into my contact database to use again, and I will gladly refer my friends to them!

I plan to call Excel for all my home/​work to/​from airport needs. Our driver, Nick, was on time, friendly and efficient taking us from Palo Alto to SFO. He was the same driver who picked us up and drove us home upon our return. In addition to the car being
super clean and spacious, it was a nice touch that Nick asked how we enjoyed our time in London (our vacation destination), how the weather was, etc. He actually cared that we had a good time away!
We learned that paying a little bit more for a private car service (compared to a shared shuttle service that takes forEVER to get you to and from your destination) is worth its weight in gold. Excel Limo & Sedan Service is better than 5 stars — 5stars+.

Great communication and service. Easy reservation process. Car was clean and stocked with water. Driver was safe and professional. I will definitely use Excel whenever I am in the Bay Area.
I love that driver gratuity is already calculated and figured into the estimate and bill. If you use your credit card to reserve it is smooth as can be. You do not need to have tip money ready or even sign anything. Just get in and go. Less hassles while traveling.

Manish from Excel has driven our family on three airport roundtrips this year. He’s 6 for 6 on timeliness and is always friendly.
The SUV Navigator is in nice shape and is plenty big for our family of 5; I think it could take up to 7 passengers.
They don’t currently provide booster seats, but have stored ours while we’re away (so we can use them in both directions).
