Fireside Property Management

Unfortunately I did not have a very professional experience with potentially renting a property. Brian did not introduce himself when potential tenants showed up to view the property and was not personable at all. Kendra introduced herself. There was a miscommunication and all of the communication was done via email, never a phone call to clarify the question I was asking and the details surrounding the situation. Which by the way Kendra confirmed that they would ask the question to the owners, since they previously made an exception. I was prepared to hear no and make my decision from there. I found it very unprofessional and actually was offended by his tone in the email I received. I would never address a potential tenant in the way he did. I would not recommend them to anyone and will never consider renting from Fireside property. I find some of the other reviews interesting as it appears others have had unprofessional experiences with their company.

Lawdy. Here I am again to share another interesting experience with this brokerage.
This time, it was Adriana Arteaga. My home is on the market, and here she comes with her client at 2:30 for her 3:00 appointment. Needless to say, we were not ready to show the house because my children (fur and human) and myself were still there, and well, 3:00 means 3:00 –that’s why WE MAKE AND KEEP APPOINTMENTS!
This obviously wasn’t satisying Ms. Arteaga as she KEPT INSISTING that she enter my home with her client «for only five minutes.» Are you kidding me? «3:00 means 3:00 lady, so come back then!» She didn’t process my message until the maybe the THIRD TIME I mentioned «dogs in the backyard.»
She then left her business card on my door and went back to her car with her client. I came back to the door a short time later to see her parked in front, stalking us out, and to get the card. Talk about traumatic triggers (see my original review). What is up with these people that don’t respect boundaries and why are they licensed real estate agents? My gawd! My own realtor warned me about unscrupulous people in real estate. Oh, trust me. I’ve seen more than enough and I think they’re all at this place. She claimed she did not know Leonard, but it’s quite evident they all drink from the same trough.
Fireside Realty = We’re ghetto, unprofessional, exploit old ladies, creep out younger ones, and don’t know how to take «NO» for an answer because we’re unintelligent and don’t know how to respect appointments.

Having worked with a number of realtors over the last several years, I can honestly say Steve Armstrong of Fireside Realty is far and away the ‘best of the best’.
Steve represented me in the sale of a property which recently closed escrow in San Jose’s Willow Glen area. Looking back now, it still amazes me as to how seamless and easy the whole process was. I attribute this wholeheartedly to Steve’s honesty, hard-​work, professionalism as well as his overall knowledge and real estate expertise.
I didn’t give Steve an easy task, I had an aggressive timeline, a home that had just been through a tough rental experience, and an interior lacking a single upgrade throughout. Given those obstacles, Steve truly went above and beyond all expectations — staging, and even getting deeply involved in the cleaning effort when a timing issue came up — caulking the sink, getting grease stains off some badly soiled stove plates, hard water stains from shower, etc. He jumped in on his own accord, without me even having to ask, not an expectation I had of a realtor, but was very helpful and very much appreciated! That is a testament to Steve’s work ethic and dedication — he’s willing to roll up his sleeves if that’s what it takes to help his client. .As a result, Steve was able to bring in multiple offers over the list price, with the home selling a week after it was listed.
From start to finish, Steve acted as a strong advocate for me at every stage of the transaction. Lived up to every promise made, was very responsive with any and all questions I had, always kept me up to date with any issues/​statuses that came up during the transaction.
I will definitely be going with Steve for any future real estate needs, and I would highly recommend Steve without reservation to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

Brian Folden is the worst, most unprofessional property manager/​real estate broker. I have never been spoken to like a dog from an «alleged professional» in my life! He is negligent, incompetent and RUDE! It’s no surprise to me that his DADDY started FIRESIDE REALTY and he just got to step in and inherit his daddy’s business! He doesn’t have the caliber and professionalism it would take to run and grow a stable business. STAY AWAY from this property management/​realtor brokerage firm!

I have rented a property in Los Gatos from Jerry Burnette for about 4 years.
I have had the pleasure of working with Fireside Property Management. They are a joy to work with. I have worked with Jerry Burnette, Brian Folden and Kendra Folden of Fireside, and they are absolutely a joy and a pleasure to work with. I have even met Brian’s favorite father Mark by chance at a LeTip meeting, too bad I never got to talk to Mark.

There are a ton of real estate agents to choose from, but I am so glad that I chose CJ Braisel to work with. It took me nearly a whole year to finally find my home which took a lot of patience but it was easier to have someone on my side that was helping me every step of the way and really pulling for me to get my first home. She really went above and beyond all expectations in making offers on homes that I liked. Even though a lot of the deals were not accepted, she offered great insight on the whole process. She also really knows which neighborhoods are safe and was usually accurate on pricing a home. She really is a valuable resource as an agent.
What I thought was most special about her was that she never gave up on trying to find me a home. I didn’t have the biggest budget, and at times when I thought about giving up, she would be so positive and reassuring. She really didn’t give up when i was ready to stop. Having someone like that in your corner is definitely valuable when the home buying process can be long and full of heartbreak when you don’t get that dream home you made an offer on. All in all, I really couldn’t have done it without her, and I wouldn’t have wanted to do it with anyone else but her. Highly recommended if you are looking to buy or sell a home in the South Bay.

When our first realtor didn’t work out, our loan officer referred us to CJ Braisel. CJ’s first priority was to understand what we were/​were not looking for in a home. She asked detailed questions and sent over information for a couple of «test homes» to see if she was headed in the right direction. She hit the nail on the head.
We scheduled an entire day to look for homes. Given my experience with the previous realtor (who only wanted to take 2 — 3 hours and look at no more than 4 homes), I was amazed that she dedicated that much time for me.
There was one case where we saw a home come on the market and we knew it would go quickly. We asked CJ to go to the home, on a Saturday, and take a video while she walked through the home (we were in Seattle). She truly went above and beyond.
She helped us find a great home in Morgan Hill, made the process as seamless as possible, and always communicated with us throughout. Even after the sale, she continued to go above and beyond. She had a number of people/​service contact information lined up and ready for us to call (based on our inspection report). When I entered the house, she even had a bottle of champaigne and two glasses ready for my husband and I to celebrate.
I will, without any hesitation, recommend CJ for anyone who is looking to buy/​sell. Thanks for a great experience!

I have bought 3 homes from Louanne Yearmen. She is one of the best realtors I have ever dealt with. She is not pushy and is very helpful. I would recommend her to anyone that wants to buy and/​or sell a house. I have know George Colacicco for a long time, and I have always known him to be honest, and follow through with what ever he says. I have used his services for both real estate, and financing, and he is not only knowledgeable, but is always willing to go the extra mile in making sure he looked out for my best interests. I have highly recommend him to all my friends, family members, and bussiness associates.

Ron Brusaschetti of Fireside Realty recently sold my mother’s home in San Jose. He was extremely respectful and appreciative of my family home. He and his wife, a decorator, made excellent suggestions and worked hard to maximize the appearance of the home. Ron personally held open house every weekend, and maintained the home beautifully inside and out until the house sold. He continually kept me up to date on everything. He made sure that all the paperwork was in order so that there were no problems at closing. He was very pleasant person to work with from beginning to end. I can’t imagine getting better service from a realtor.

Over the last year I sold one house and bought another. CJ helped me with both and was a huge resource in so many ways. During the purchase of my new home, she diligently worked with me as I looked at tons of houses and changed my criteria along the way. We finally found the perfect place for me. Once that was decided we closed rapidly and with no fuss. She is a super resource and flexible to boot.
Then we worked on selling my old house. Her suggestions for improving the property to get the best price were spot on and she was really helpful with names of contacts who were reliable and did a great job. The pre-​marketing also worked well to get exposure in the neighborhood and with other realtors.
The bottom line is that I had an offer before the first open house! Who could ask for anything else.
FInally, my experience with CJ was more than positive as she understands how stressful, joyful, emotional and important this time is for a family. She does everything she can to make sure the experience goes smoothly. I highly recommend her as a top notch realtor.
