This is an amazing clinic! I loved the care and attention I received from acupuncture practitioners. They truly make you feel at ease in a very nurturing environment. Ive had horrible headaches for many years of my life and after just two treatments I noticed they dramatically decreased :) Each time I have gone I have left feeling great and will continue to get treatment here.

Came here out of a Unilocal check, decided to check out Chinese therapy, acupuncture and what a difference this place made. Just 1 week of sessions, I feel better, like younger, fresher, and the techniques they used, with the heat lamp and electrical nerve stimulation acupuncture therapy. Let me tell you, not one headache since, and normal movement in my interior, in just 1 session. So I am going back for more, and will review this 7 day amazing change in my body and look for more. There are students here, but also professionals, it’s a University and also Health Center, so be prepared for more than 2 in your room, they are courteous and absolutely wonderful. Pleasant, and professional. If you are looking for alternative and traditional therapy used for thousands of years, you may want to come here and let them fix your soul within you! I am refreshed, and so thankful I decided to give this a chance. This may help me live longer, as it should! It’s proven therapy for generations.

Excellent value for cost. I’ve had tremendous relief from my colitis symptoms, in fact total remission. I am lying in bed pain free tonight from a different ailment for which they treated me for today, sciatic pain which I mentioned to them casually and they proceeded to afford me treatment for both the colitis and sciatic pain. Amazing results and would highly recommend.

I’ve been here a couple of times for a massage and acupuncture treatment. The acupuncture was not very successful. I was suffering from sciatic nerve pain when I had the treatment. I didn’t get the desired results. But to be fair, no treatment could have probably helped ease the pain at that particular time. I returned today for a massage and enjoyed the experience. The massage therapist was very good and I felt my stiff lower back begin to loosen up. I got the 1 hour massage for $ 80 and it was well worth it. I’ll most likely return.

I have had nothing but expert care at 5 Branches. After 3 rear ender car accidents in 10 yrs (none my fault) and a crazy slip on wet cement stairs that landed me on my back, I was wrecked and in so much pain. The interns and Drs. worked on the muscles surrounding my spine for support of the vertebrae. They also did work on my adrenals for fatigue and anxiety. Í still need more care and am going back this week. Can’t wait to continue to move forward in health. The pain is much less and my flexibility is returning ~ never believed this was possible! I trust 5 Branches practitioners implicitly. They are caring, kind and know their stuff!

I attend the veterans’ clinic on Fridays. I’m so grateful for this service. I’m able to sleep much better.

So I must say my mom, who is not tech savvy by any means, has begged me to write a review on Unilocal because she wanted everyone to know what she thinks. I have to admit I have not been to this place myself however I do get to see the improvements first hand and witness the miracles that come out of this office. My mother and myself at this point have not one bad word to say about place.
Hats off to Siheon «Sean» Lee who has not only helped my mom regain mobility but has given her hope that she will not be taken down by her pain. My mom is currently fighting with arthritis and has been in unimaginable pain, in order to avoid being medicated, she has ventured out and found Five Branches. I have to say I have never seen such fast improvement and utter excitement in her within her first couple visits.
The first three visits are free and within those three visits my mom was already showing improvement and was convinced that Sean was helping her regain her health.
If you like hearsay my mom tells me how the staff here are friendly, caring, and ask lots of questions. They show they care! They take their time and seem to not only enjoy what they do but enjoy helping their patients.
My mom and myself are incredibly thankful for Sean and all the staff here for the amazing work they do. A tremendous thankful not only from my mom but from a daughter who gets to see her mom without pain.

I have nothing but the very best treatment at this exceptional health care school. The interns work with the licensed acupuncture doctors to afford you the best care possible. I always look forward to my appointments as they are so relaxing and you can feel the healing process when needles are placed. Go and experience for yourselves and do your body a favor.

Fixed my night sweating problem in 2 visits. (and the first 3 visits are free) Ever since I moved to California 3 years ago I have had terrible night sweating during the winter months. After my first visit that same evening my sweating was reduced from having to change my pajamas 3 times a night down to only once and after my second visit I didnt have to change my pajamas at all (there was still a little sweating, but nothing like it was)
They nailed my underlying issue on the head the first visit which is a weak liver, though this is not something I brought up because I didnt think it had anything to do with my night sweating. On my second visit I was offered some herbs with little explanation about them but after looking them up on line to see their common uses they had recognized another one of my issues, anxiety again without me bringing it to there attention. The herbs have a 5 star amazon review as well.

I really appreciate having this type of medicine taken so seriously. I feel very comfortable and deeply understood with all my body symptoms. I highly recommend this place.

Wow, What to say about «Five Branches» lets start with «They are giving my life back to me».
I’m battling Cancer, an incurable Cancer called Multiple Myeloma. Last year I had a Bone Marrow Transplant that put me into remission, (That’s what the numbers say) however I’ve been left with Horrible Pain and No Strength.
My daily pain pill régime is taking Morphine, Methadone & Vicodin for the pain…(This is serious pain)
This is not the life I want to be living, a life filled with pain.
Western Medicine has given me time, a remission that will provide «Time», however I don’t want to loose my ‘Time” because of Pain.
It was my Physical Therapist that recommended Acupuncture & this is how I came to discover «Five Branches Acupnture», I arrived at my first appointment in pain and hoping for some relief, praying for some relief, any relief; even the smallest amount, I knew «I would be thankful for».
I was praying for a Miracle
I felt like I had «No Future» and what life I might have left would be filled with Pain and Depression.
Well my hopes and prayers are being recognized by the staff of Doctors, Students and Teachers here at «Five Branches»
Since coming to the Clinic my pain is decreasing and I’m slowly able to get some movement back in my body. I hadn’t been able to turn my head in 3 weeks, and now after a couple of treatment I’m turning my head.
When I had to climb steps my knees would «Scream»… So Much Pain! Now with the treatment I’m receiving, I have less pain in both knees & everywhere else too. All this suffering, 2 years of hurting and here it is… RELIEF.
Five Branches is a beautifully ran, super clean facility. The Acupuncture Clinic and School have a diverse staff & students they all friendly, positive, energetic people. Every time I go in I’m reminded of how much they care.
They are always coming up with new ideas to help me out.
Help that gives me hope & their genuine concern makes me feel so comfortable here.
Acupuncture is new to me, but I’d say «Give it a try» like most things I think you need a quality place to get quality treatment. That is what Five Branches is here to help you with «Quality Treatment»

This place changed my life. I learned about integrative medicine here (eastern + western medicine). Through acupuncture, acupressure, cupping, herbal medicine, and other Chinese traditions I was able to manage my energy levels, depression, and mania with respect to bipolar disorder type I.
You can save money by working with a student doctor for $ 29, but your first three visits are free. They’re all really nice, take a detailed and thorough medical intake, and are eager to help you. Approach everything with an open mind and you’ll go far!
Also bear in mind that this is an integrative medicine facility. The staff will be more than happy to hear about your appointments with western medical doctors and your experiences with them. Both perspectives are essential for a more holistic treatment.
I love Five Branches and would recommend it for physical and mental ailments where other treatments are unsatisfactory.

Be sure to wear something comfortable and arrive 10 – 15 before your appointment. The times that I have been here, the waiting list seems to be slightly long and can delay you a little.

to kick in… sometimes more. It’s not a one time visit and you’re cured

Re: Five Branches University.
This acupuncture school is very affordable, and most importantly, when it comes to
getting treatment and recovering from an injury/​illness, their students and attending Drs. are HIGHLY EFFECTIVE, PROFESSIONAL, and a great RESOURCE TO THE COMMUNITY. In addition to acupuncture, they offer chinese massage therapy, and Qigong, as well as herbal /​nutritional therapies and supplements. Their TCM is great and should be experienced by all, even if it is just for something as simple as getting stress relief /​relaxation.

I am so grateful for Five Branches, and especially grateful for Mamie (one of the student clinicians). My daughter has been plagued by back pain from scoliosis and severe hormonal imbalance since she was 12. She’s 14 now and we have tried every treatment under the sun to resolve these issues. None of the treatments worked until now. Whatever it is that Mamie does is pure magic– she has absolutely turned my daughter’s life around. Her periods are regular for the first time, her skin cleared up, and her back pain is gone.
All of this wonderful treatment at a price that is so affordable, I was actually able to bring her in as often as Mamie recommended to get the best result. Acupuncture is not something you can do once in a while and expect miracles… it takes time to retrain the body to function properly.
We saw dramatic results in less than one month and now, three months later, she only has to go every two weeks. It won’t be long until we are down to once a month but she has deep seated issues that take time to resolve. Everyone’s results will vary depending on what the problem is so just be patient… but give this wonderful modality a chance — you won’t regret it.

The older the wiser. Well what else would you expect with the practice of Chinese medicine. And this clinic has great staff
whom take their time, listen and explain. It’s a great resources to address any of your healthcare needs. My internist has been Katy and I would recommend her 100% !

Very cheap rate and the team of graduate interns were very professional. They’re supervised by very sharp doctors that go through an approval process. This gives a quality control component to their service. The herbs are offered at a very cheap rate, and they’re very kind and caring. All my treatments worked well.

I went here a few times a while back. They offer 3 complimentary sessions to first time patients. I tried it out and went back a couple of times after that deal expired.
I’ve never done acupuncture before this and have a phobia of needles. My Acupuncturist (Dung) used the baby needles and there was no pain. The sessions helped out a lot. I miss it.

The Five Branches team is really great. I’ve been going there for 2 ½ months since I was involved in a motor vehicle accident back in July 2012. I came in with extensive pain in my hip and leg and they’ve taken great care of me.
I’ve had sessions with Erin, Brian, Kelly and others. They’ve all been incredibly courteous, caring, attentive and friendly. Can’t say enough about these guys (& gals). They’re careful to listen to patient needs and concerns. Brian is especially good at explaining everything in detail. They truly know how to ensure their patients are comfortable and getting the therapy that they need.
