Great dentist and staff. Been going here for years. Professional and friendly and the dentist has a great sense of humor. It’s a pleasure — oddly — to see them.

Dr Funada is beyond amazing.
He is outstandingly gentle when it comes to injections, as well as handling your teeth. I had a phobia of going to a dentist due to past experiences. He helped me over come that fear so much, along with his staff. All of his Dental Assistants are amazing, perky, talkative, and comforting. Janice & Kathy at the front are great as well, very sweet which bring such a warm atmosphere to the office. Without a doubt one of the best dentists in the south bay. I am so fortunate to have been recommended to him. Dr Funada is also very tentative to minor details, and tells you step by step things he will be performing in a way that you will understand. I feel safe, and comfortable when I’m in his chair. If your looking for a superb dentist. I would definitely say visit Dr. Funada, you will not be disappointed.

I would like to thank all the staff and Dr Funada for helping me today. I was hit leaving the office this morning and Dr Funada along with a few staff members came out and took care of me. I was a bit in shock and they made sure I wasn’t alone and had anything I needed. One of the hygienist called me a few hours later to check on how I was feeling. They definitely went above and beyond the call of duty not only giving me superior dental services but really showed they care for their patients. I will forever be indebted to you for your kindness. If anyone is in need of a dentist don’t hesitate to call them. You will not be disappointed.

I love this place. The office is in a nice place. The office is well decorated and comfortable.
Dr. Funada is a great DDS, and he has excellent staff. Every exam room is decked out the most recent technology. Its awesome to have a screen above you to see what they are seeing. The Xrays were fast, and professional and it didn’t hurt. They were available immediately on the viewing screen.
I would recommend Dr. Funada to anyone, looking for a talented, skilled and trustworthy dentist.

Dr. Funada is absolutely amazing and so is his staff. I’ve been a patient for almost a decade and can’t be any more satisfied. If I could give 6+ stars, I would.

I don’t know where to start with Dr. Funada. Unbelievably thorough, kind, gentle, makes me laugh… For the past 4 yrs I’ve had a very complicated maxillofacial case. He and his staff have stuck by my side thru the whole ordeal. He’s called me back in a timely manner when I’ve needed his input or advice and stayed on top of my progress from other surgeons. His staff is awesome & welcoming. Kathy & Janice keep the front desk and Dr. Funada (haha) in line. Andraya is the best dental hygenist. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

I went to Dr. Funada’s office today for the first time, I am very scared of dentist but Dr. Funada and his amazing staff did a great job of making sure that I was comfortable. I work in the dental field and I hear alot of horror stories but Dr. Funada is the best. Thank You for making my experience a good one. I look forward to coming back to see you all soon.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Funada for over 10 years now. He always makes you feel comfortable and his staff are great – always friendly and helpful. Kathy and Janice at the front run a tight ship for appointments, insurance, and billing. I especially recommend Andraya the hygienist for cleanings, she’s super gentle and careful.

I LOVE Dr. Funada and all his staff. I was referred by a friend/​co-​worker and have been extremely happy ever since! Previous dentists always made me feel like I was still 7 years old or something – getting out the over-​sized teeth and toothbrush showing me how to brush properly. Also had one who had a whole long print out of all the work I needed on day one! Excuse me?! VERY glad to have found Dr. Funada!!!

I was looking for a new dentist and was referred to Dr Funada from my sis and mom. I’m always getting cavities and am deathly afraid of the whole procedure of drilling and especially the novacaine shot. Dr Funada was so great — I hardly noticed that the cavity was filled! And the shot was painless, barely felt it. He was very gentle and careful. A day later, my tooth feels great — no pain and no sensitivity! And his assistant was awesome as well. She knew exactly when to suction the saliva and knew exactly where to suction to get everything so I wasn’t swallowing liquid during the procedure. Lastly, the reception staff are very friendly and kind. I would totally recommend anyone to go to Dr Funada if you’re looking for a new dentist!
