Gio Stone

Gio Stone has done all the granite work in our home over the last 2 – 3 years. We first had the pleasure of Giovanni’s artistry when we remodelled our kitchen using granite for the counters. Then a year ago when we remodelled our guest bathroom using granite slab and this year we have remodelled our master bathroom also using granite slab.
Giovanni is really an artist, if something’s not right he makes it right and he has a real eye for detail, ensuring that the «flow» of the stone is not interrupted and he has the ability to make a beautiful granite stunning.
We had an unhappy incident with our latest granite slabs, which really could have cost us a major amount of money, but somehow Giovanni waved a magic wand and made it work. With all deference to Gio I know it wasn’t an easy job to work with 3 slabs of granite two of which were ¾″ and the third 1″, but as I said he made it work.
Giovanni not only has a love of the medium in which he works, but he has integrity and really cares that his client is happy with the results. I can’t imagine that a client of Gio Stone would be unhappy but, I’m sure if they were, Giovanni would move heaven and earth to make it right.
I can definitely recommend Gio Stone with no reservations.

I used Gio Stone to replace my outdated brown kitchen tile countertops with beautiful granite. I was under a very tight budget and the job had to be done quickly. Giovanni, the owner, took the time to meet me at my home to understand my project objectives and take the necessary measurements. Giovanni also met me at the Dal-​Tile showroom in San Jose to help me select granite slabs that fit my taste and were within my budget.
Gio Stone installed my new granite countertops and added a very cool backsplash of 1″ stone pieces placed in a diagonal pattern with strategically positioned complimentary accent tiles. The demolition and installation took only two days! The Gio Stone team was very clean and treated my home as if it was their own. I placed my home on the market (for a 2^nd time) after the kitchen remodel and it sold in a very tough real estate market in only 17 days. My realtor said that the kitchen sold the home.
