I was having problems with water heater shutting off continuously. After having several plumbing companies come out and do their fixes I continued to have problems. I finally called Good Guys Plumbing and they sure have the proper name for their company. Adam, the owner operator, was like a doctor diagnosing an illness. He thought things out methodically and gave me several options. I of course had to make the decision but based on Adam’s thoroughness in evaluating the issues I decided to buy a new water heater and based on Adam’s experience with many brands of heaters I went with the one he suggested. He and an employee removed the old water heater and installed the new one and were meticulous in their work. All I can conclude with is you can’t go wrong with the Good Guys.

They are very good. Adam is pretty busy so you may not get a hold of him right away but, if you can hold on, he is worth the wait. We had a broken water heater and he was able to come to fix it on the weekend (he was fully booked all week long). He is a good craftsman, works diligently and gave us a reasonable price. Often these qualities are hard to find in a plumber.

We recently had Adam replace the supply line from the meter at the street up to our home. A few estimates later and Adam was among the lowest and a generally likeable guy. Communicated very well throughout the process via phone and text message. He and his guys did the work quickly and properly. Moreover he was fine with chatting about what to do and why which I think is important. Adam will now be my go-​to plumber.

Our Takagi tankless water heater, installed 11 years ago, would not start and won’t produce hot water. Adam came out per our appointment. After a brief diagnosis, he determined it was the ignitor was not working properly. He cleaned up the contact and the unit was working again, producing steaming hot water.
In addition to fixing the problem promptly, Adam is one of the most HONEST plumber around. I recommend him highly without any reservation. 5-​start all the way.

We had an 8 year old Takagi tankless water heater go out on us (hard water buildup). Good luck finding a company to service Takagi (the Takagi website is not current, most of the plumbers I called on that list either didn’t even call me back or didn’t service Takagi). After reading Unilocal review on Adam (and how he helped another Unilocaler with his Takagi water heater), I called Adam. I had to leave 3 messages before he called me back (caught him at a busy time). That being said, once he engaged, he did everything he said he would do when he said he would do it. He showed up at the time he said (not a 2 – 4 hour window). I haven’t even met him in person and coordinated all of this with him via phone while on vacation. He was honest and gave it to me straight. He could have repaired it and saved me some $ but he gave me his opinion as to why he would recommend replacing and a soliton for the hard water problem (filter). In the end, I took his recommendation. I would recommend him highly and just suggest you be persistent if he doesn’t call back.

I bought a house with old galvanized iron pipes and leaks in many of the drain pipes (found in the home inspection). I had a few companies coming over and giving me quotes for copper re-​piping and fixing all the issues in the report. Some seemed unprofessional, some tried to intimidate me about awful things in the crawlspace. And then, Adam came. He assured he could do everything and gave me a very competitive quote. I read the reviews on Unilocal and decided to hire him. He went to the City hall and brought the permits. He has completed the work in a timely manner, and he did an excellent work and up to code — so said the City inspector! All the old pipes and dirt were cleaned up and my garage was left clean.
Adam is not only a professional plumber, but also a very reliable and honest person, he is always available and responsive.
I would certainly recommend Good Guys plumbing company for such big projects.

So glad I tried good guys plumbing with our water heater issue, Adam took care to call GE and also follow up with them as promptly as possible, he made the process is so bearable for client in a messy situation. Highly professional. Will definitely hire them again. can’t believe anyone is not satisfied with their service, so I read one of least stars comment and found out that it’s technically rated wrong, it should be a five-​star if you read the comments.

My Takagi tankless water heater stopped working. Aware of the problem, Andy talked through my options and provided different good/​better/​best approaches at different price points. He offered guidance to help me decide the best route and he showed up the next day with all the necessary parts for the repair.
He worked diligently for 3.5 hours and the work was completed at the price estimated, which was very fair and significantly less than another plumber I spoke with. My wife reported that he is a super nice guy too!
As with another reviewer, Andy is my new go-​to plumber too.

Right before Christmas I noticed our water heater was leaking. Called around a few places and was not to satisfied with the customer service over the phone. My step dad is a contractor and was able to get a couple recommendations for me.
I called Adam and he called back and was very laid back but knowledgable. You could clearly tell he knew his stuff and was not looking to jack you for outrageous prices like the other places I called. He was able to give me a very good quote over the phone.
Adam was able to squeeze in my water heater replacement right after the Christmas holiday, but before New Years. Perfect! He delivered everything he quoted over the phone and then some. I would highly recommend Adam and will most definitely use him in the future for any plumbing needs. very trust worthy, knowledgeable and on time!

Adam is hands down the best man for the job. I’ve used him to repipe a few of my rental properties as well as basic drain service or simple plumbing side jobs.
Every tenant that has met him has called me immediately afterwards to express how professional and knowledgeable he was about the job. He gets in, gets it done, all the while very polite and cleans up afterwards.
For the repipe projects, he pulls out the old rusty galvanized pipe rather than just leave it under the house for the next guy. All copper is layed out, soldered, and strapped much better than the jobs of any of the previous plumbers I’ve hired in the past.
Cost wise, he is very reasonable and can get out to your site right away.
He’s done such a great job on the properties that I manage, that he is now my go-​to man for my own home.
Call him first, and you won’t need anybody else. Ever.

We had Good Guys Plumbing install a new Bosch dishwasher for us. They arrived when they said they would, worked quickly and professionally and charged a fair price. I would call them again for any plumbing task without hesitation.

For a couple months I couldn’t get the water to go down the kitchen drain anyway but slow & wrong. And then we had out of town guess come stay with us & right in the middle of they’re week long visit the tub drain also started having a really bad slow drain problem. So I called !%$(*^$#!&*(Plumbing company that only takes your without solving any of your problems) & they came out & ran a snake down the kitchen Drain & the tub & charged me $ 200 & yes the drains were cleared until the next time I ran the Garbage disposal (the next day) & then things got even worse :| I was talking to my Auntie Mary about the problem & she handed me this business card & said call my plumber «He’s really good» Auntie Mary’s been at life along time so I went home & what Auntie Mary said to do, I called GOOD GUYS PLUMBING Co. Adam the owner & head plumber was really good at every part of his job. He was very nice, very knowledgeable and he said «for sure if I had any problems with his work» just let him know. I did not need to that I have NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER WITH MY DRAINS. Oh & the price was so affordable. Thank you very much GOOD GUYS PLUMBING Co & Auntie Mary for the great tip. I will never need another plumbing company again !! Yeah ;0}

We were having issues with our Takagi Tankless Water Heater. Adam was extremely knowledgeable about Takagi on the phone so we hired him. He did a great job getting the repair done at a very reasonable price.
While he was at my house I asked him to do a few random plumbing fixes we’ve had for a while and he handled everything with ease.
He’s my new go-​to plumber.
