I grew up drawing, so graphic design was an easy step just had to learn the tech… I have been shooting for 20+ years as a photographer, I went to college for RTVF/​Film Production and was bound for Hollywood. Family kept me in the bay area where I went into the field of photography and since then I have been capturing imagery with action and movement in my themes… I enjoy photography for the fact that I can incorporate as many words into each image as I can (up to a thousand if possible) ;)

Still working towards Hollywood though, so along with my imaging services, video/​cinematography is also offered — so if you are looking for dynamic images — graphics, photo or cinema, this is the place to stop!

Dominic is exceptional with his photography. He has a unique ability to be creative as well as technical, which produces fabulous results. Dominic is a genuine individual who loves what he does, and it shows!

Dominic shot my wedding, and he was absolutely fabulous. He got all the traditional photos you need to get at a wedding of course, but he also took creative photos throughout the entire day. So we got lots of beautiful photos of the scenery at our venue, flower arrangements, table settings, lights, our rings, the cake, etc. He took photos of me with my bridesmaids getting ready and my husband getting ready with his groomsmen — both candid shots and beautifully arranged ones. Lots of photos of the ceremony itself. Casual photos of our guests. More stunning photos of me and my husband after the ceremony ended. And then a whole slew of casual dinner and dancing photos of everyone having fun. He gave us about 1000 photos when all was said and done, with a perfect balance of all the different styles.
He also shot our engagement photos. We spent a few hours driving around Santa Cruz taking photos in all sorts of beautiful locations. He has a great eye for finding interesting backgrounds to make his photos really stunning.
When deciding which photos to put up on our walls, the problem was not finding good ones, it was narrowing down the huge number of good ones so our home isn’t completely wallpapered in wedding/​engagement photos.

Dominic is a detailed and careful planner. When he manages a project, I know that all the details about talents, equipment, lighting, releases, location, needs of the model and the support staff are all thought about and taken care off.
His photography skill in amazing, I look forward to the results of his completed work. They are always better than my expectation. Dominic is goal originated, yet he still makes everyone feels comfortable when getting the project done. If you have any photography needs, be they commercial or personal, you cannot go wrong by hiring Dominic.

It was so much fun shooting with Dominic! I had a few individual portraits done, and some shots with my boyfriend and best friend. One of the best parts of the shoot was that he made you feel comfortable! He crawled on chairs and counters, and even laid on the floor… whatever it took to get the right angle and light! The photos turned out great and we were all very pleased with the entire experience.

Dominic Wong shot my wedding and prenuptial pictures almost 3 years ago. Now I don’t know many professional photographers, but I can confidently say that Dominic is one of the best. Dominic is very friendly. I knew he would be very easy to work with when we first met. And when we got to shooting, he knew exactly how to «pose» his subjects. Our pictures came out perfect. My wife and I couldn’t be happier. His prices/​fees are also very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this guy for any kind of occasion! 5 starts for sure!

I have worked with Dominic numerous time in the past and I can say that we have became friends over the years.
Dom is very personal and approachable, making every project and session at ease and enjoyable. He even take silly photos in between shoot, retouches them and send them over to me.
Posing is always an interesting aspect of shooting and while i always thought it was weird, Dom knows what he is doing because the photo shows it and the pose looks amazing.
His work reflects his passion for photography. There is no doubt in my mind that he will work hard in providing the vision you are looking for in pictures

I lived in the Bay Area for a short time a few years ago and met Dominic at work. He asked if he could take some pictures of my boyfriend and I to help build his portfolio. At first I was reluctant because I hate having my picture taken and every single professional photos of me (high school senior pics. etc) have been terrible, but I agreed.
Dominic made the whole experience very easy and stress free. No awkward poses or anything that didn’t feel natural to us. The photos came out absolutely beautiful. I love the way he used the natural light in our photos. His work really stands out.
Hopefully one day soon I will return to the Bay Area and hire Dominic for some official engagement pictures!

i’ve worked with several photographers over the years when I did modeling. working with Dominic was truly a great experience. As I was fairly new to the modeling industry Dominic was absolutely creative in helping develop the best shot! The guidance and insight he provided was extremely helping throughout my career both for modeling and beyond. I felt my confidence was increased as a result of working with Dom as he helped me nurture skills I never knew existed. I’ve know Dom for over 7 years now and we’ve become quite good friends. I can’t say much more than, «you’d be missing out if you don’t work with Dom!»

If you’re uncertain of how to pose or what to do, Dominic is great at guiding you on the best angles and positions. When I was upset at the results of a photography shoot, Dom was who I called to come in for a re-​take. He’s especially strong with lighting, composite photos and special effects. Dominic has been instrumental in helping me build my international modeling portfolio and my fitness brand identity. I’ve known Dom since 2005 and each photo session has been so professional, creative and detailed. He listens to what your ideas are, what you want to capture and gives creative input to meet your ideas or even make it better.
Even though I have officially retired from professional modeling, I still highly recommend Dominic to aspiring models and even creatives to work with him. He is that good at his craft.

Dominic is a very professional and knowledgeable photographer. My boyfriend and I hired him to capture some moments for us to hang around the house, and the photos came out amazing. He knew how to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. The final product was natural and captured our most beautiful sentimental moments. He is also very hard working. He climbed trees and walls to get us the best angle and lighting.

One word I can use to describe Dominic’s work is AMAZING! In my line of work, I’ve met many photographers, including the very famous Lara Jade, but Dominic is by far one of my favorite photographers. He has an insane care to the littlest of details and you best be sure that when you work with him you will get nothing, but the very best. I have worked with him on several projects for the last 12 years and he continues to amaze me even till this day. Remaining one of his clients for the last 12 years speaks volumes; it just goes to show how good he really is. I have entrusted him with some of the most precious moments in my life and in return he has provided me with some beautifully captured photographs that I will forever cherish.

His creativity on his photos shoots is really great, a few of them where questionable at the time of the shoot. But after seeing the finally results he takes picture taking to another level.

So I’ve worked wirh many photographers and have had some bad experiences. But Dominic and I have worked together on two occasions (once for a magazine and once for fun) and the results were extraordinary both times. His attention to detail and great sense of humor makes photoshoots fun. Plus, he is really good at digital effects. The photos came out BADASS. They are now a important part to my portfolio. Let me start off this review simply by stating that Dominic is without question, the most talented photographer I have ever met. I’ve watched him work, and have seen his talent grow for nearly 20 years. And he gets better with every passing day.
If you’re looking for corporate shots, you won’t find any more professional. If you need videography, it’s done with class and very polished. And for photography… I’ve never seen anyone capture a moment in time the way that Dominic can. Anyone can look through the viewfinder on a camera and snap a few frames, but few people can «see» the world the way he does. A true artist and master of the craft.
Whether you need a photo shoot for a wedding, a portfolio for a modeling agency, event photography, or video, you can be sure that you’ll be working with the best. This business and its proprietor have my fullest endorsement.

Was referred to Dominic through a make up artist that has worked with him before in the past. Although he does not have a long list of outstanding reviews, i figured it would still be safe since it was a referral. I’m more of the type where I think word of mouth referrals is just as good, if not better, than online reviews. I do read Unilocal reviews but have come to realize sometimes people leave sub-​par review due on emotional circumstances.
I’m not photographer but the photos Dominic was contracted to do for our event turned out fantastic. He seemed extremely focused and detail oriented during the entire gig, and his assistance was pleasant to work with as well. Multiple times, I noticed Dominic’s expertise and knowledge in his field to be well worth the price he charged. Not sure if this is his full time job or not, as he doesn’t respond to emails lightning quick, but he does come around to it in a reasonable amount of timeframe. No complaints here. He even went beyond his duties to deliver the large print we wanted for the office and followed up with us a month later to make sure everything was good.
I would definitely recommend a booking.
