Dr. Jennifer Forster graduated from San Jose State University in 2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in General Biology and received her Doctor of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic West in 2003.

Dr. Forster has continued her chiropractic education through certification programs and active release technique certifications.

Dr. Forster discovered her life with chiropractic care through an illness she experienced when she was 14 years old due to medication side effects. Naturally, Dr. Forster is a firm believer in holistic wellness practices and has helped many patients in San Jose through her chiropractic care.

Dr. Forster treated me for the aftermath of a car accident, and succeeded in restoring full functioning when my primary care physician, weeks of physical therapy, and therapeutic massage all had no effect. I referred one of my best friends to her as well, and the friend is delighted with the results. I can’t recommend Dr. Forster highly enough, especially if you have had less-​than-​helpful chiropractic treatment before, as I have.

I decided to start chiropractic wellness treatments when I went to the Insight Chiropractic and Bodywell open house last fall. Dr. Jennifer provided a complimentary foot scan and discussed what benefits the wellness program would provide. I’ve been seeing her monthly ever since and really enjoy my treatments. Compared to previous chiropractors I’ve seen, Dr Jennifer spends time really understanding your body. Not just crack-​crack-​crack. I love the muscle relaxation work she does first. I started taking my 3.5 year old son and Dr Jennifer made him feel comfortable and excited to get treatments.

I started going to Dr. Jen 2⁄2014 for Achilles problems in both feet. Surgery was recommended. Dr. Jen was able to do her magic and saved me from surgery. After about 3 months going 1 to 2 times a week, I was walking without a limp. In November I am able to walk 2 to 3 miles without issues.
I am now visiting once a month for tuneup on my whole body. I went yesterday (a free visit for my Birthday). My body feels so much better today. Thank you Dr. Jen.

Dr. Jennifer Forster has been a blessing in my life. Many years ago I had a bad wakeboarding accident and my back has never been the same since. I’ve also had headache and neck issues from time to time. Nothing seemed to help much, so I thought chiropractic help may be worth a try. I never really had issues with my health and never thought I would need any other help besides my normal doctor, but I’m sure glad I found Dr. Forster. She is very knowledgeable, a great listener, and just gives off a great sense of caring that makes you feel like she truly wants to help wherever she can to get you feeling better. My back has felt much better over the last year of regular visits and I do not get the headaches I was getting. She also introduced me to the wonderful pillow I know use every night and has helped me sleep better and wake up without pain in my neck. I definitely recommmend her.

This was my first time visiting a chiropractor and to be honest, I was scared to death before arriving. People that I have talked to that have had these visits warned me that it would be extremely painful, but after going to Dr. Jen, I think a lot of the «pain» depends on the doctor that is performing the exam. I purchased the living social deal that covered a full hour of the doctor’s time, starting with a foot scan then the chiropractic exam, ending with a 20 minute active release massage. What i really liked was that Dr. Jen talked me through the entire process, explaining what she was doing and why. She was really easy to talk to and we were able to have conversations about our backgrounds and I found out that she has worked with 8 olympians-​impressive!
The foot scan targeted 16 points in my foot and shows me what areas of my foot are weaker. If i ever want to order custom orthopedics, all the information is saved and they can get those to me within a week, which is awesome.
The massage was really great-​although it was only 20 minutes, I got more out of it than I would from a full hour’s worth. I was put on a table that moves side to side and up and down while Dr. Jen massaged the muscles that needed loosening. She also had me do exercises such as crossing my arms in front of me while she worked out the kinks in my neck and shoulder. Some of it did hurt but only for a second and I noticed that I felt looser right away.
The only complaint I have is that I wish the exam/​massage was more private. I moved back and forth from a couple of rooms and the door was open at all times and one of the rooms is actually a part of the main lobby area where anyone walking in could have seen me getting my massage.
Besides that, def recommend coming here for a visit. Your body will thank you!

I just recieved a chiropractic adjustment at Insight Chiropractice by Dr. Jen and I feel AMAZING! My neck has been killing me for almost a week and now I feel 100x better. I definately noticed an increase in my Range of Motion just minutes after our apt. ended. Wow! I thought massage was the ONLY thing that would relieve my pain but after my visit here my opinion has changed. Thank you Dr. Jen!

I happened to mention to my massage therapist that I was experiencing some foot problems. Since she too had issues with her feet and was receiving treatment from Dr. Jen at Insight Chiropractic, she suggested that I have a consultation with her (Dr. Jen). I’m glad I did. The health of my feet has improved greatly, thanks to Dr. Jen’s treatments. I now visit her for chiropractic maintenance care and occasional acute needs. I appreciate the time — typically twenty to even thirty minutes — that she takes to address the needs I bring to her attention. I never fear that she’ll rush me out the door so she can adjust her next patient, then the next, then the next in succession. (Three-​minute adjustments, typical at many chiropractic offices, are major turn-​offs for me.) I recommend Dr. Jen for general chiropractic care, in addition to treatment of foot issues, which are her specialty.

I have been searching for what feels like forever to find the right chiropractor. Dr. Jen was very informative and made me feel confident that she could help me. I was having severe pain in my chest and it was freaking me out. I went to see her and she was able to put my mind at ease and went straight to work. I went through three sessions with her over a week period to adjust my ribs that she informed me were out and she also helped adjust my neck and hips too! I really needed it and she took her time and made me feel cared about. I felt a significant amount better even by the first session. Dr. Jen is unlike any other chiropractor. Her technique is hard to find and I will continue to see her. Thanks to Dr. Jen I feel so much better! I will be seeing her for other adjustments soon for my arms and follow up work to keep me in good health! :) By far worthy of 5stars… i’d give 10 but 5 is the only option.

I was very nervous seeing Dr. Jen or any chiropractor doctor for that matter since it was my frist time ever. She put me at ease on my first visit. I was suffering from headaches and several issues in my feet and legs. I started feeling immediate results! My headaches were something that my medical doctors bascially gave up trying to help me with so it was nice to finally get some real help. She is great at listening to you and I feel that she geniunely cares about her patients well being.

I truly believe that Insight Chiropractic’s Dr. Forster is one of the best chiropractor’s in the San Jose area. I have been treated by several in the past and she is the first to be able to make a huge difference in neck and back pain. Her approach to chiropractic medicine is completely innovative and unique to that of other chiropractors. By incorporating her total body approach she provides treatment that deals with the entire body. She has an amazing ability to be completely in tune with exactly what part of your body is bothering you and comes up with direct solutions. I have been dealing with tension headaches and instead of just treating the neck, she is treating my cranial bones, ribs, jaw and other muscles with a technique called active release. What I have learned is that the body is a kinetic chain. meaning that it is all connected. I have been doing a series of these treatments and my headaches have reduced dramatically. I have also suffered from neck and lower back pain. I will often walk in with intense pain with both areas and when I walk out of her office the pain is virtually gone. I highly recommend Dr. Forster – I guarantee you will be happy with her treatment.

Dr. Jennifer Forster of Insight Chiropractic has seen me through many injuries, mostly brought on by sitting and typing too much (carpel tunnel, cubital tunnel, repetitive stress, hip pain), but also a slipped disc and other problems. She is wonderful, communicative, knowledgeable, and responsive. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Pros: Great chiropractor skills. She has helped me with many upper and lower back problems.
Cons: Has difficulty navigating insurance plans. Yes they are complex but ultimately she makes little effort to understand the process and you could end up paying more than you should.
Also, she has issues with the patient/​doctor relationship: Shares TMI, gives unwarranted advice and likes to constantly correct what you say (probably threatened by patients who are health care professionals). Very annoying!

Dr. Forster at Insight Chiropractic is wonderful! She is very knowledgeable and has a very holistic approach to health and wellness and works with a variety of techniques to best address her individual patients issues. I initially went to Dr. Forster because she uses ARM — Active Release Method, a very effective technique for muscle work when traditional adjustments may not be appropriate.

Need an ailgnment been getting headaches… go see Dr. Jennifer Forster you will find they use great machines and honest techniques.
Chiropractic works from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. This is an adjustment that should be gotten weekly or monthly simply because we humans so easily get out of wack.
I never felt as good when I had built up toxins and needed an adjustment done then I when I went to see Dr. Jennifer.
