Jeda Generations Auto

Was recommended to Jack by another in the auto trade to have him look at an issue with my classic, gave me his honest opinion about the job. Then used him to recover some seats for my toy, I brought him the materials and he made the seats better than new — Jack is so easy to deal with and they do great work for a fair price.

Let’s be honest, we can easily find places that offer auto upholstery, but still you’re nervous about how great of a job they will do and next, obviously the price to get it done. Yes, it’s not cheap, but you do leave with what you pay for. Not to say that Jeda is unreasonable or extremely deep in your pocket, but rest assure you are in good hands, especially knowing that this has been running since 1988 (year I was born). Knowing that they’ve been here that long providing the service makes me comfortable and confident knowing that this is the place to go and Jack is the person that will take care of you.
I initially discovered Jeda, though the r3vlimited forums that are dedicated to the BMW E30 and was recommended to visit her for any upholstery needs. Not to target anyone, but upon my visit, it was comforting to see that I wasn’t the only older, classic looking car there. There was a BMW 2002 and a Porsche parked when I arrived and during my work order, several other Porsche owners were visiting. That alone, showed me that Enthusiasts come here and that doesn’t get any better. There’s TRUST.
I took in a houndstooth E30 driver’s seat, to have the driver’s side bolsters repaired. There was a fair amount of the bolster missing on the side arm and a generous tear on the fabric. Jack went over exactly what was going to happen and exactly what he will do to bring it back. I was really impressed with what he does to guard bolsters from damaging again within the seat chassis and that alone, made me realize that he took the time to understand the repair aspect and also as a driver in the seat.
Jeda is an amazing place to have them handle your needs and again, it’s comforting and built confidence, knowing that they’ve been in the business for 27+ years. I’m very happy to have my seat repair by You and Your Team!

Experience and Ability is the best in any shop. Jack has lots of both. Just walking into the shop, I knew I was in the right place. You can see his attention to detail just by looking at the works in progress.
I needed an expert to cut down the foam in my 2012 Yamaha Super Tenere motorcycle seat, then re-​attach the cover, making it look stock, but actually be lower.
He did such a wonderful job! The bike looks as if it had never been touched, yet the seat is lower, comfortable, and perfectly done.
Its a family run shop, his wife handles the invoices, and they are both truly, genuinely nice people. I cannot recommend Jeda Generations enough. I will be telling all my friends, and anyone who needs upholstery work!

Used Jeda Generations for repairing a torn seat in our 2001 Chevy Tahoe. They repaired the upper side bolster, lower bolster… and got the new leather to match the existing seating services very well. Small shop… sorta hard to find… but well worth the trip. Pricing was fair, workmanship was very good, and work was done quickly. Highly recommended.

I had a customer’s car in my detail shop that had a strange wear spot on the leather seat, that just looked really bad, while the rest of the seats still looked perfect. I wanted to surprise the customer with a fix. Contacted Jeda and they told me to bring the car for a look. He studied the situation, and told me this particular car does not have many choices in the current dye selection so he would do what he could if anything at all. Jack studied some color charts, figured out what color, pulled some dye off the shelf, did a test sample to make sure it was a match. Once he decided it was match he proceeded to do a perfect fix.
Very impressive, he was careful, took his time to make sure it was the right thing to do and then did an excellent job on the fix. My cuistomer was ecstatic that the blemish was gone.
The workmanship that I saw on the seats they were being actively worked was very impressive. It appears they do the small things that make a difference, definiteyl hard to find in this day and age.
I am going to now add a service to my line of services for fixing and repairing seats and Jeda will definitely be a recipient of that work.

Took my 2005 Vespa to have the seat reupholstered here. The owner of the place was very friendly and took a great interest in the seat. It took about 3 hours to do an excellent job with the seat. He also used quality material, actually much better than the original. This place was great because it was a small, privately owned company where the owner does pretty much all of the work while his wife handles the financial area. It’s great to find these small businesses to insure quality work is done.
