Jumping Up Learning Circles

This summer, my wife and I sent our daughter to San Jose to visit our families. My relatives in San Jose found this learning center for my daughter to attend. During her visit she enjoyed the time she spent with the family and loved the summer learning program. Every time when we chat over the phone, she expressed with joy and shared with us about the activities and curriculums she learned that day; like doing different art works, learning new math, science, and writing techniques, and of course going on field trips was her most favorite fun of the day. Our daughter also told us that the Martin Luther King Library that the learning center took her to go visit is a big library. It has many floors and includes interesting artifacts on displays. Jumping Up also took my daughter to the famous Egyptian Museum for field trip. She found it interesting in discovering the history of the ancient civilization and took several shots of the mummies for her summer photo memory book. During her attendance at the learning center she also grew closer to the new friends and teachers she has met. It’s always exciting for her to go visit different places every week with her new friends. We are hoping this center will still be here the next time we come visit!

Update: I still live in Santa Clara, but we used to go to Jumping Up. It was not a favorite for us. I am not a competitor of this place, just expressing my opinion. Besides, I know plenty of students there who live in Santa Clara.

My son is a kindergartener who’s recently started at Simond’s elementary. He goes for afterschool care at Jumping Up. I think my son likes it more than school! Teachers take a personal attention towards the children, and take the after-​school educational program seriously.
My son learns a lot during their classes and benefits from the small class size and personalized attention. One day, he left his lunch box and Mrs. Young actually drove all the way to my house at night, to make sure he has it for next day! I was touched.
So overall, my experience has been very positive and my son loves it there.
