I recently brought my Mini Cooper in to get the rear bumper, tail light, and a scratch from the rear lift repaired. They did an awesome job! Their service was impeccable from beginning to end. They explained in clear laymen’s terms how they were going to accomplish the repairs. I had ordered paint from the car dealership to cover up the scratch, but when I put it on, it clearly did not match. However, the paint that Koss used matched to a tee. When I got my car back, it practically looked like a brand new car! They had cleaned it inside and out. I hope I won’t need any more repair work on my car, but if I do, I will definitely bring it back to Koss.

My vehicle was hit while I was in a store and I came out to find the rear driver side corner smashed as well as the rear light cracked and broken. I was upset as this was the second time that my car had been hit while parked and decided to open a claim and get it fixed. I googled and Unilocaled auto body shops in the area because the place my dad had me take my last vehicle was just not going to cut it. I did my research and found Koss. Koss not only made it a point to give clear updates of what was going on with my vehicle but made sure to handle all issues through the insurance company and had an open line of communication with the car rental company that I used. They found an issue afterward with my tail light module not quite functioning correctly and took it to the dealer for them to diagnose. That being said, Koss worked with my insurance company to get it covered and done. The reception at Koss is a friendly and genuine staff. The car came out great and I’m happy to have my baby back! I will definitely use Koss again if the need should ever again arise. Thank you for being so thorough.

I took my car in to get my hood replaced and they took me in right away, explained everything and pricing and after 2 weeks my car came out looking brand new. They take their time and really care for each and every car. They are very genuine people and extremely trustworthy. I am excited to say I found my new auto body shop !

I’d give these folks a hundred stars if I could. They do a most excellent job of auto repair. When we went to pick her up she literally had a smile on her front. Their work is meticulous and the repair work is seamless. And every bit as important as that is, they were tolerant and understanding with our repeated phone calls to check on the status of the repair. Both Don and Sharon are just wonderful. I recommend them highly… although I hope to never have to see them again. But I think that’s understandable. Heartfelt thanx to the Koss Collision Center!!!

I’ve tried others and I think now I’ve tried the best! We brought our Toyota Highlander repaired here a few weeks ago and could not be more satisfied. The repair came out exceptional which I expected but really in my opinion what sets them apart is the customer service which blew me away. Sharon the receptionist was very very pleasant to deal with and she made my experience as easy as possible from dropping off the car, setting up a rental car, and coordinating the repair with the insurance company. Don the owner genuinely wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the repair and did not give me any grief whatsoever when I first went to pick up my car and my friend that came with me pointed out a minor flaw with the paint on the bumper that was only visible at certain angles when the sun hit it. (It was not very noticeable and I can see how it was overseen because I didn’t see it initially). In any case he took the car back and had the bumper repainted again and even paid for the rental car out of his pocket since the Insurance company would not cover the two extra days needed while the bumper was resprayed. If that doesn’t tell you that he stands behind his work than I don’t know what will! When I came back to pick up the car, it was perfect and the whole car was detailed inside out which I appreciated since I have 3 kids and the car is a bit messy inside. All in all, I found a body shop for life! Give these guys a try, you won’t find any bad reviews online for a reason (I’ve checked).

Don and his shop is one of the best I have ever worked with. He recently helped fixing the dents on my car bumpers; the work is awesome and is on time. He also responds to emails promptly which informs me the status of the work while I was on a trip.

I recently took my car here after the Hyundai dealership recommended them. I only had my car two weeks when I got rear ended by an uninsured motorist. After reading the Unilocal reviews I thought this was definitely the place to take my car to be repaired.
Don gave me the estimate and submitted it promptly to my insurance company. They even commented how professional and kind he was. His daughter Sharon runs the front office and was very nice as well.
After finally figuring out my hectic schedule I was able to bring in my car to be repaired. Don explained the process of how he was going to repair the car and said it would take about 3 days. He even called Enterprise for me to arrange my pick up.
Right on queue I got a call 3 days later that my car was ready. I was so happy to get it back! Payment was easy and according to my insurance accurate pricing. My car looked perfect again! Sharon said it was just like taking your car to the spa and that it was! In addition I got the express detail service which was fantastic.
I’m very happy with the results and the excellent customer service. I hope I don’t ever have to use them again, but in case you do THIS is the place to go!

My Infiniti G37 was rear-​ended on 101 by an un-​mindful guy. Before that, my car was spotless with only 14K miles. How come you don’t slow down when traffic is going 5 miles/​hour, bumper to bumper? Anyway, it was a painful event for me and my car. Prior to this event, my wife had her car’s body fixed at Koss and was very happy with their job and service. So, I decided to go to Koss Collision. Don and Sharon are very courteous with good sense of humor (this is important to me). Don assured me he would not take the job if he had any doubt on the work that needed to be done. He told me he would only use OEM parts to bring the car back to the factory spec. Anyway, long story short, I was pretty happy the way they handled me and my car. The car came out exactly as Don promised. I wanted to get the car quickly, but it took them about 4 weeks to finish the job. After seeing the results, I think it was worth the time. I recommend Koss Collision without any reservation for any auto body repair.

I need to admit that I am a quite particular about my cars; some would say that’s an understatement. That said, when my car was hit I was a not happy. I found Koss Collision via a recommendation; and I investigated all my options, trust me. It was a great piece of advice that I followed that led me to them. Their work was very, very good, their customer care was even better. Don Koss paid attention to my every concern and I never second guessed that my car repair was being handled by the best possible shop. I dare anybody to ever know I was in an accident. I joked with Don that I hoped not to see him again (due in any further accidents). But if that day comes again, I have confidence in the best shop around for my e63.

In my opinion, these guys are the best in the business. My wife’s car was less than 3 weeks old when a SF valet scraped/​dented the entire left side of the car. The hotel’s insurance company required 3 bids & the bid from Koss was right in the range of the other 2. Bob even stopped by our house on his way home to write up an estimate. I remember asking him about what to expect in terms of finished quality & he said, «If you can forget it happened, we can make it look like it never did.» True to his word, the work looks phenomenal and it’s warrantied for as long as we own the car. I highly recommend Koss Collision.

Just picked up my 2012 Mercedes Coupe after a reckless driver backed into the side of my car. The worst part of an ordeal like this is finding a trustworthy place. Don and the team here are very professional and take all the hassle out. They carefully performed an assessment while i waited and dealt directly with State Farm, so I didn’t have to get stuck in the middle. I felt like I was in the right place from the start. Don keeps all the cars indoors overnight too so I didn’t have to worry. They finished the job early and the results were perfect. I got 3 compliments from strangers following the great detailing from Koss!
Thank you Don and the Koss team for making a misfortunate event so bearable! I can’t thank you enough for the care you put into your work! Though I hope I never need to bring my car in for something similar, there is no other place I’d consider trusting my car to.

I must be some kind of magnet for bad drivers, but Koss has perfectly repaired my Mercedes 4 times in the last few years. Not only did they do a phenomenal job, but it’s aways done on time or earlier.
The insurance company of one of the drivers mistakenly paid my deductible, unbeknownst to me. Koss passed the savings on to me, which I don’t believe many companies would do.
I hope my friends out there never need bodywork, but if you do, this is the place to go

After receiving the disturbing news that the insurance adjuster wanted to total my 2000 BMW (I was hit, in a parking lot… how he caused that much damage I DO not know!), I remembered that I had brought my Volvo to Koss several years ago and since I lived in Willow Glen, close to the shop, I thought I’d give them a call to see what they had to say and I am SO glad that I did!
I met with Don so that he could write up the estimate, which came in at $ 2K less than the BMW Collision Center. He worked with the insurance adjuster and the insurance company and all I had to do was sit back and wait for the car to be finished.
On the day I dropped the car off for repair, Don drove me to the house so I could pick up a second car. The day the car was ready, his daughter Sharon picked me up from my house and brought me to the shop. What great customer service!
The biggest and best surprise was waiting for me at the shop when the repair work was completed… my car truly looked practically brand new, and not just in the areas where the car was repaired (rear bumper and quarter panel). You would never know that I’d been hit… the work was seamless, the paint matched perfectly and it looked great. The car was washed and was spotless, and when I got into the car to leave, I was SHOCKED to find that the interior had been detailed and looked amazing as well. Tell me… how often do you get service done where the provider goes above and beyond, and charges you nothing additionally? The cost of the repair came in as quoted and I had to pay nothing out of pocket.
Oh…almost forgot to mention that Don took care of a small adjustment on another part of the car that wasn’t caused by the other driver, but something that I asked him to take a look at. I am grateful and appreciative of his desire to help me out.
Without ANY hesitation whatsoever, I would recommend Don and Koss Collision to anyone needing auto body repair work done. I’m so glad that I remembered them from before and trusted them to take care of the repair this time around. Although I hope I never HAVE to see them in the future, if I do need body work again, I will be visiting Don and his exceptional staff.

I believe my family has had three cars worked on here, two Mercedes and a Corvette. One of the Mercedes was a complete respray which came out beautiful, just like it came from the factory which says a bunch about they’re talent. The vette was almost totaled, it looks brand new as well. Years of experience obviously pays off with great results.

Just received my car back from Koss. She looks beautiful! My car is older but when i brought her in they said no problem. She came back perfect! It always amazes me how smooth the paint feels after I get it back from the shop. (Yeah, they have worked on my car before)
This is a great family run shop. Sharon at the front is very helpful through the whole insurance/​paperwork handling process. They also have very nice bathrooms!

Right when you walk in, you’re greeted to some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I was personally helped by Bob Koss and I definitely recommend him.
He came out greeted me nicely, I signed a form and he went straight to my vehicle.
I explained to him the situation, the damages, and possible hidden damages and he was quick to write them down and remember them. After confirming everything, he explained to me what he believed could be extra damages and told me straight up my car would not be a cheap fix.
WOW, that’s the first time I heard mechanics being honest!
Anyways, so I walk by inside their nice air conditioned room, which by the way had a nice ambiance of the fish tank right in front of you and two cozy couches situated conveniently for patrons waiting for service.
He (Bob) took no longer than 10 minutes to finish up the entire quote and I was off my way.
A $ 3000 dollar fix? Insurance is paying it all baby.

I’ve never had body work done before and even for this, I didn’t pay for it (the other car’s insurance was responsible), so I can’t comment on the competitiveness of the cost. But they do estimates.
I couldn’t be more pleased.
