All I must tell you is this was the worst experience of my life. I had been to Dr. Greenwald’s office many years ago. I accompanied my father because he had an HMO and was referred to Dr. Greenwald all I remember from the visit was that my father was extremely upset and he refused to ever be treated by this UN HUMAIN MAN. I know have graduated and I’m on my own I started having extreme pain in my foot so I googled my insurance for a podiatrist and I found this Ass — ! I have a great PPO and his hours worked for me so I called I got a visit pretty quick but I must say this WHAT THE HECK WAS I THINKING WHEN I MET THIS MAN! I should have remembered my fathers face and how distraught he was before I wasted my time here. I met Dr. Greenwald and in a minute I was uncomfortable with his look. Dr. can your clothes be any lower under your bottom? Yes his appearance was clean he was just dressed so? No words to describe then the minute we met I told him my symptoms and the first thing he said was what kind of insurance I had? Hmmmm I wondered why he should ask this if my chart is in his hands? OK I will just answer his question so I told him I work for Cisco and I have a PPO ⁹⁰⁄₁₀ with no deductible. He smiled (creepy smile) and in a split second he said I most likely needed surgery and he could get me a slot in 3 days? I was like wait I couldn’t say much because he had me up in a darn chair and he walked in and out of the room as if he were antsy for my response to be YES I WANT SURGURY. He kept repeating that over and over so I felt Pressure to say yes so he can let me down and I could get the Hell out!!! As he runs to his office to schedule my SURGERY I ask a young lady to please let me down as I needed to use the restroom. The asst. let me down and told me the key was hanging by the window to unlock the bathroom which was outside so I kindly said thank you and proceeded to put my heels back on. I said thank you and walked out then out of no where Dr. Greenwald is at the exit door telling me to go immediately and get X-​rays and bring them back ASAP!!! I was just flabbergasted by his actions! I accepted the form he gave me for the X-​ray and he immediately said oh hey make shure you come back today so I tell the girls not to charge you another copay??? Ok I was just like really wow you are a sweetheart NOT BECAUSE I HAVE NO COPAY JERK! ALL I CAN SAY IS RUN RUN RUN AWAY AND DON’T look back because you will have to deal with unnecessary SURGURY! I have seen 2 more podiatrist and both have told me I don’t need any SURGURY. I shall read the reviews on Unilocal next time so I won’t end up with a rat like Dr. Greenwald‼

This was my first time visiting a Podiatrist and it went great! First, the reception answered right away and they take most insurances. Second, they were able to schedule me the same day! Dr. Greenwald was very nice, approachable, and explained things in a way I can understand (no foot knowledge).
There was plenty of parking in the shopping center and the staff was super friendly. I hope I don’t have any future foot pain, but if I do, I will be back!

I was referred to Dr Greenwald by Regional Medical Center when I was there due in part to an infected cut in my left foot. I had been having this treated with another podiatrist for a month prior, who thought everything was healing well. Apparently, it was not and the infection got into my blood. Dr Greenwald did surgery on the foot to clear everything out and then all the follow up care since then. I had never had surgery before, and he was very reassuring, everything went well and I experienced no pain afterwards. He closely monitored the healing process and with his care, the wound healed cleanly and fully in less time than anyone — including me – expected! Throughout my care, he has been responsive, answering questions, giving me reasons for everything we were doing, and in addition, very helpful in providing the follow up and paperwork needed for medical leave and disability coverage with my company. He balanced my concerns and desire to return to work ASAP with the right care and monitoring, really listening and working with me. His manner is calm and matter of fact but solicitous, which makes him great at calming fears. I will be using him an my podiatrist from here on out.

I was a new patient with an ingrown toenail. The procedure was very fast and efficient, probably 5 minutes besides letting the anesthesia settle. Before the procedure, they carefully pinpoint the difference between pain and pressure so if you need, you can get more anesthetics.
I don’t get why people complain about copay. It’s a must for every appointment that I’ve ever been in.
Also, the place is very clean, tidy, and bright. And not dark and eerie. And they gave me a cup of water as an added bonus.

I came in to get an ingrown toe nail removed and it took 15 minutes! I was very nervous and he made me feel very comfortable. I am so happy I came to this doctor. Very highly recommended! :) he’s awesome

A good friend recommended me to Dr. Greenwald and he was wonderful. I have been struggling with plantar fasciitis and serious foot pain for at least a year. When I went in to see him he was able to help me right away by taping my foot in order to realize the pain in addition to fitting me for custom orthotics. I just got my orthotics back this last week and they are perfect. My foot is no longer hurting and I’ve even started to run again with out any pain. Dr. Greewald was great and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs to see a podiatrist.

Dr. Greenwald has provided stellar professional service and care to me since the early 1980s when I was running marathons. He quickly and diligently helped me deal with various running injuries of one sort of another. Because of his care back then I didn’t miss any significant training time or races.
In the years since, Dr. Greenwald has continued to provide spot-​on care for one foot-​related malady or another. At all times his concern for patients has remained exemplary.

While everything with the initial consultation went well (the doctor is personable and chatty), I returned to pick up the shoe inserts I had been fitted for — but was charged my $ 50 copay JUST FOR THAT! I wasn’t even wearing the shoes that I’d be USING them in!!! SO ridiculous. Definitely would not go back.

I have to pick up my custom orthotics as usual I got co pay of $ 10.00 JUST FOR THAT!!!

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a medical procedure. After a bunionectomy I was in incredible pain. He charged me for a pain dispenser that was defective and wasn’t available the day after my surgery to give me pain medicine because he and his prescription pad were in different places. Month after month I’d go to Greenwold’s office, tell him I still couldn’t walk and was in severe pain all the time and he’d tell me my bone was healed perfectly, charge me for another xray and office visit and tell me to come back in 3 – 4 weeks. Finally after 6 months of agony he suggested PT. The therapist said I had more scar tissue than he’s ever seen and I proceeded to go through PT agony for another 3 months. It’s been almost a year and I still have pain. I’ve had this procedure on my other foot (different doctor) with nothing like this. A colleague had a nightmare experience with him, too. In addition to being incompetent as far as I’m concerned, his «bedside manner» is awful. He’s grumpy and doesn’t care about anything except collecting money. Run, do not walk away from this man.
