«Your child has been exposed to head lice» is a notice that no parent wants to receive. Even worse is the call from the School Health Clerk asking you to pick up your child because of head lice. Panic sets in. You may not have experienced these scenarios yet but everybody will at some point in their life. Kelly Fiorentino and Bernadette Kauinana have experienced this. That is how Lice Heroes was formed. They joined together with the promise of providing families peace of mind when this «panic» sets in. With diverse backgrounds, one a teacher and one a hairstylist, they joined forces to make up a strong lice fighting team. They provide community awareness, group screenings and complete nit removal.
