The worst company ever. My gate is broken and I have a little baby so I needed to have our gate fixed asap. I called them, the lady called me back 2 days later and told me that someone would call me back for an estimate. I have never heard back from them. I called them back a bunch of times and nothing. That is very unprofessional. If you can’t come than tell us but don’t ignore people and make them wait. I don’t understand why they have 5 stars. So disappointing.

The Los Gatos Fence Company helped repair the fence for my parent’s house in San Jose last year and did an good job with the fence itself.
However they also managed to damage the weed barrier and make a mess in the backyard in the process. Their attempts to remediate these issues essentially consisted of spraying a bit of water to push the dirt back down (which had the unfortunate side effect of clumping to the rocks). Since then they’ve been more or less unresponsive, so I would not recommend them due to their lacking customer service.

Would give them an extra star because at least they reached out and responded. Unfortunately they also implicated that my parents were yelling profanities at my workers in Cantonese when in fact my parents speak Mandarin.
Additionally, they did not respond to the underlying issue, which was the damage to the weed barrier underneath that prevented growth (which are clearly depicted in my attached images, and have grown significantly since those images were taken at least a month ago).

Highly recommended, quality workmanship, on time, completed entire fence replacement + cleanup in 8 hrs.
Francisco (Foreman) + José + Benjamin are hard workers. It happen to be 90 °F today (Bay Area) but the Team did not slow down. I offered them plenty of flavored waters (Phenoh) throughout the day, which they appreciated very much.

I highly recommend Los Gatos Fence Company. My estimator guy was Jim. He explained many details about the wood and the service that I would be receiving. Due to unforeseen circumstances (PG &E & rain), we had to push out the work one week and then another day, wch was really tight for our needs. The owner was very nice about it and with an EXCELLENT attitude diffused the situation. In the end, they came and built a BEAUTIFUL fence. They use ONLY the BEST redwood and the neighbors and we are VERY happy with the fence. They used the best method, which is board-​on-​board; this is what you want so that over time gaps do not appear. They secured it extra well as well. Their price was VERY, VERY fair. I went with them instead of the lower cost company. I would do it again! This is an ace company and the people are also great!

The owner, Troy, is a man of his word and will do whatever is required to correct any problems with his work.

I left a message with Los Gatos Fencing today for some repair work needed on my home, Cynthia, who called me right back explained they were swamped with new fencing, but she had a referral that could help. She was very professional and helpful in guiding me to a better source for my immediate problem. I certainly would consider this prompt and professional company if I ever need a new fence.

I’ve been shopping around for about 2 to 3 weeks that was some pretty nice salesman some pretty shady salesman was lucky enough to get a referral to Los Gatos Fence Company and Troy at gym or obsolete five star gentlemen you answered every question the first time you gave me a very fair price and fantastic work thank you so much for a great experience be happy to send my friends and family to you in the future

I called 2 times today, still no one called me for the Estimate. The first call, no answer, I leaved a voice mail, The second, I called a different umber, someone answered, told me someone will call me back, The third call, a lady answered and told me that someone will call me for the estimate. It is 8:47pm now, I am still wait…

Can’t say enough good things about Los Gatos Fence! They were amazing to work with from the moment I spoke to Cynthia to getting an estimate from Troy. Everyone at Los Gatos Fence takes great pride in their craft and it shows! We love the quality and look of our new fence!

Fast and beautiful! We had a great experience, from Cynthia in the office to a timely estimate from Jim, and then the fence was built in a day and a half by Lupe and Cruz, just beat the rain today. Fencing and two gates, plus an arbor over one gate are done exactly as I asked. Would highly recommend working with Los Gatos Fence Company and would use them again, first rate job with excellent materials. The crew took pride in their work, and in making me a happy customer in Santa Cruz.

We have lived here in Sunnyvale for 40 years. In that time we have been involved in half a dozen or more fence replacement projects of various sizes. We have worked with three or four contractors. Los Gatos Fence is unquestionably the best. Today they replaced the fence in our back yard: the third replacement project for that particular fence. The work was quickly done, the workmanship and fence materials were flawless, and the site cleanup was excellent. We would recommend Los Gatos Fence for any project of this type without hesitation.

Had my fence replaced by Los Gatos Fence Company. I left a voicemail and was called back prompts by Jim. Jim came out and discussed the whole process and materials that would be used in a timely manner. I was impressed with the quality of the materials that would be used to build the fence and this was a huge factor in hiring of Los Gatos Fence. They just had the best material for the price as compared to other quotes I received.
The fence was installed in three days by friendly and hard working guys. I was very impressed with the clean up after the job was done. The fence was installed during one of the frequent rainy days we have had lately so everything was muddy. After the fence was installed, everything was back in its place and cleaned. Very professional. Would definitely recommend for your construction needs.

We just had our fence replaced by Los Gatos Fence Company. I was out of town while it was happening, and I was informed every step of the way. We had several bids before we chose this company. I believe the things my neighbor and I liked was that the price was fair and similar to others out there, there was a warranty on the fence, the communication was excellent, and the materials used seem to be better than others. When I returned, the fence was completed and looked wonderful. I offered to provide this review on my own because I felt it was a wonderful experience and the outcome was better than I expected – makes my other fence look pale in comparison. I would use him again personally and for my business.

I recently had Los Gatos fence replace a section of fence and a gate at my house. The bid they game me was considerably lower than others I received and the quality of work was truly first rate. Troy worked with me throughout the process, explaining everything and giving me regular updates. The entire process was extremely simple. His guys showed up on time, did the work quickly and cleaned up afterwards. Troy called me to personally ensure I was happy with the final product and offered to fix any problems, of which there were none. The final product was beautiful and the high quality of construction was visibly apparent. I was especially impressed with the gate which is much sturdier and higher quality than any outdoor gate I have seen. I will definitely use Los Gatos fence whenever I need fence repairs in the future.

I worked with Troy (the owner) the entire process and this is about as good as it gets in regards to construction of any type.
I called and left a voicemail on Monday, unlike many they called me back right away and explained that someone would be in touch to set up a time for quote within the next 30 minutes. That person ended up being Troy and he came out later that same afternoon. He gave a very detailed quote and explained exactly why they use what they use and why it’s the best. He also explained what to look out for in other quotes in regards to different materials people try to use.
The next morning I called to give them my business. They had just recently had a job that week push out. So they were able to come in and do the entire project on Thursday and Friday of the same week. That’s voicemail to finished product in 5 days, which is about 170′ of fence and two gates torn down and re-​built in 2 days.
The next part is where Troy really earned my business. We have a disagreement with one of the neighbors over certain details of the project. He spent more time than could be reasonably expected working with them and us to get everything right and so we all agreed on it.
The actual destruction of the old fence and construction of the new fence went very smooth. The fence itself is awesome looking and should realistically last 30+ years with simple care. My only gripe at all is cleanup was more of a 3 star effort, but not so bad where I felt the need to dock them from 5 star overall. There was a small bit of scrap and trash left behind, and a good number of nails. I would have liked them to walk a magnet around the property before leaving like roofers do.
That aside, these guys were great. I already told Troy that they will have my business when we decide to put up a new pergola. Highly recommended to anyone.

The did a great job on my fence, it is well built and looks great!

I had Los Gatos Fence Company replace all of my 30 year old fences (3 sides of property=4 neighbors!!). Their bid was reasonable and in fact the lowest for the 3 bids I received. They were recommended by my wonderful realtor, Julie Roybal. And They started and finished as scheduled. All work was done to our satisfaction, and where there was a misunderstanding, they immediately adjusted to our request-​with no question of a price adjustment. Each side of the house had 1 – 2′ property level change and so retaining walls were required. A 30 year old walnut tree was in the middle of the fence, so a box was put around the fence. They consulted with the neighbors as needed; and in fact did some work for them as well… replacing and adding gates. All neighbors were very pleased by the final result.

My wife and I are very pleased with the work performed by Los Gatos Fence Company and we would recommend them to anyone that needs a new fence. Their workmanship is excellent.

Just had a great job done by Jim at Los Gatos a Fence Company. I wanted to duplicate a 15 year old steel fence design to match the neighbor’s fence and Jim did all the pulling of things together to make it happen. I am very pleased with the outcome of the fence. The workmanship is excellent it was a good value. I am happy with my new fence! If I could post a picture (or figure out how to) I would/​will. Definitely 5 stars. I would recommend them to anyone.

Troy and his team are AMAZING! We have a large property and the entire fence (3 sides) had to be replaced. The quality of the final product is amazing and the speed in which it all went up left us speechless — only 4 days to take down and install the new fence.
In addition they don’t cut corners — very high quality red wood and excellent execution! Highly recommend them for your next fence project!
