Mortazavi Parisa, DDS

I found this place online and had decided to check them out for my periodic check up. The location was very nice, clean and professional. i was feeling comfortable when Dr. Mortazavi was working on my teeth. she checked all my teeth and gave me good consultation and taught me how to brush my teeth. i did not feel pain when she was cleaning my teeth with very light and romantic music. So, this is the place i definitely go there for my periodic maintenance and i am glad to find her. i highly recommend this place.

I found Dr. Mortazavi after moving to the Bay Area this year, and she is already my favorite dentist I have ever had. She is very knowledgable, patient, and caring. My previous dentists have sometimes had multiple patients at the same time with the dentist and hygienists bouncing back and forth between patients, but with Dr. Mortazavi, she only takes one patient at a time, so both her and the hygienist are always focused on you, rather than spread thinly between multiple patients. As someone with moderate dental anxiety, this is especially great because it helps make the appointment go much faster. Dr. Mortazavi is clearly very knowledgeable and has given me good specific advice for the cavity problem I have had in the recent years, and clearly cares a lot about her patients’ dental health. I now wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Mortazavi to anyone I know.

Dr. Mortazavi has been my dentist for the last 4 years, and although I’ve moved farther away, I still go to her office for all my dental needs. She is very kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. The pricing here is very reasonable, which is just another of the many reasons I have no problem with making a 60 mile round trip drive.
I’m terrible at keeping track of when I’m due for my cleanings, but the office is very diligent about calling me with reminders for upcoming appointments. Going to the dentist can be a stressful experience sometimes, but I’ve always been calm and relaxed here, and I recommend Dr. Mortazavi to anyone.

I’m always so nervous to go to the dentist! I hate getting fillings or shots in my mouth. This is the only dentist I will see now, she is the best!!! Very gentle and very caring about her patients!!! I really really appreciate the care she gives! Also her dental assistant Carmen is wonderful! Carmen takes her time and explains what’s going on, and she is also very gentle! I love this office, even though I do not like going to the dentist, they make it very very pleasant! The office is beautiful and makes you very relaxed. Thanks ladies for everything! I have been going to Dr. Mortazavi for the past 5 years and she has been very good to my and my parents. I have a history of receding gums and she came up with a cleaning strategy that has significantly slowed the process.

I found this dentist online, and she was close to where I lived. I’ve seen her about 4 times and I have to say I’m disappointed.
The office seems to only have one other person running it other than the dr herself, therefore when your there the hygienist leaves often to answer phone etc and on the other end it seems like the phone rings forever! I’ve gotten the machine more then an actual person.

Dr. Mortazavi herself and the hygienist talk and talk and talk about whatever to each other during my appointments like I’m not even there!
I feel like this is not a place I would recommend to anyone very unprofessional.

Having met several dentists I submit that Dr. Mortazavi is the most professional I have encountered.
Honest and transparent to her patients I value these traits among her best reasons for continued visits.
She has a warm and endearing demeanor and makes the patient feel comfortable and relaxed. She always knows who you are and remembers you.
Her staff is also highly professional, neat, organized and energetic. The office environment is very clean, modern and creates a climate of relaxation for visiting patients.
Her prices are very fair when compared to other colleagues and she offers discounts if you don’t have insurance or are financially struggling.
The office location is very convenient and their hours are quite flexible with scheduling and/​or cancellation.

I used to take very good care of my teeth, then for some reasons beyond my control I was unable to afford required dental work. I had an emergency twice in the past several years. The 2^nd time it cost me a bundle.
Anyway, I started to look for a dentist after the last emergency. I found Dr. Parisa through Unilocal and went there for a work up. She was kind understanding and extremely fair with her pricing. That surprised me because the other dentist I went to for my last emergency treatment took advantage of the pain I was in, and charged me for everything and then some «through the nose.» Okay ’nuff said, but I still need dental coverage (coming into effect very soon). Once my coverage takes hold I’ll be knocking on this dentist’s door to see if she will work with me – I’m sure she will. She is very nice, compassionate, and from my past experience, very competent, and mindful of various economic situations. I liked going to her. She is not your typical dentist by a long shot.

I’ve been coming to this location for years and have no need to look anywhere else. Dr. Mortazavi is always warm and friendly and has done a splendid job remodeling the whole office. The location is great right off of highway 280 and close to 880 as well. The staff is always friendly and I can tell they care about me and of course my teeth. Dr. Mortazavi always gives me recommendations to help make my teeth and gums better. They are always flexible to my schedule and if you are looking for a good dentist, look no further.

This is my 1^st review on Unilocal.I spoke with Dr Mortazavi today over the phone. I read good reviews on Unilocal and was looking to switch to her dental office. My current dental office is about 25 min from my home and is only open when I have work. I hate having to use my pto. I was happy that Dr Mortazavi offered Saturday appointments because I work Mon-​Fri. When she answered the phone she said hello in a very rude tone. I was confused that I called the wrong number. I asked if I was calling the right place she said yeah what do you want. I told her I was interested in coming in for an appointment. She asked what day & time I would like to come in. I told her Saturday. She said she would prefer during week. I asked her if she needed to call my current dental office and get my dental records. She said no just come in. There is a lot more to my story but I won’t comment about it on here. Anyway to make a long story short I made an appointment with her. even though I wanted to just hang up on her. About 5 minutes later I called and canceled. I just couldn’t believe how incredibly rude & unprofessional she was. About 6 hrs later her receptionist called and tried to get me to reschedule my appointment. She was very sweet. I told her no and the reasons why. Dr Mortazavi needs to learn how to speak to potential clients over the phone. First impressions are very important. I’ll just stick to my current dentist and use my pto and drive 25 min to go see her.

Now let me start this review by saying that I have always been afraid of the dentist, I have had some bad experiences in the past so I was hesitant to schedule my first appointment in several years.
Dr. Mortazavi was recommended to me by 1−800-dentist as someone who was patient and kind to those who were afraid of the dentist. On my first visit she was so friendly and nice and asked me lots if questions before starting the exam. When I needed work and could see that i was getting anxious, she explained everything to me and made me feel so comfortable.
I have been coming here for years now. What I like best about Dr. Mortazavi is that she truly cares about her patients, she is easily accessible and will always call to follow up and see how I am doing. I will admit that I have had to get quite a bit of work done and each time I feel at ease. I can honestly say that I am no longer afraid if the dentist.
I recently moved across town but still come to her because for me it has been rare to find a dentist who is kind, caring, patient, and flexible and never makes me feel bad about all the work I need done.
Carmen (her assistant) is also so nice and friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Mortazavi.

I have had crooked teeth and Dr Mortazavi suggested that I should try invisalign. I was initially hesitant about the effectiveness of the braces as there were mixed reviews on this treatment and my lower teeth were so crooked that I did not believe that they could be fixed by merely wearing removable braces. Eventually, I decided to try. I am now I’m on to my last few trays, and the results have been amazing. My teeth look great and I can now smile with confidence. Dr Montazavi was not only patient and gentle with me throughout the whole treatment, but she also has excellent skill in identifying and correcting problems like mine.

My biggest problem with going to the dentist is finding someone I can trust. If nothing hurts, how do I know I have a cavity that needs to be filled?
I started going to Dr. Mortazavi about five years ago. (My wife set me up.) Before that it had been eight years since I’d seen a dentist. I expected bad news, but, instead, she reported I had «good dental hygiene.» Cool! My whole family goes to her now.
I like her so much I’m now getting my teeth cleaned every six months. And, still, no fake cavities. She is managing my Invisalign braces (which, yes, I am wearing as I write this, Doctor). She has a gentle touch and is quite friendly. My kids have really appreciated the special attention they have gotten. Thanks to her, they’ve never been afraid of going to the dentist, even though their dental hygiene leaves something to be desired.
In summary, I am really glad we found Dr. Mortazavi. She has done everything from cleanings, to crowns and extractions, to Invisalign braces for members of my family. We’re happy to call her our family dentist.

For years I was fearful of going to the dentist, until I had work done by Dr. Mortazavi. Wow! She is so gentle with my sensitive teeth. I have never been happy about going to the dentist, but now I really trust her gentle touch, thorough exams, gentle cleaning, and fillings. She is truly a WONDERFUL DENTIST and I could not recommend her more. If there was a «Dentist Of The Year» award, It should go to Parisa Mortazavi DDS.

My family have been Dr. Mortazavi’s patients for more than 4 years now. Believe it or not my 7 years old twin daughters love to go to see her!!!
Her office is so warm and welcoming and she treats them very well and they get their good prizes for being good patients right after her work on their teeth.
She usually goes beyond her way and follows up personally after most of the visits to make sure everything is well and taking care of.
We highly recommend her to our friends and families.

I have been a patient of Dr Mortazavi for my teeth for about three years now. She is very friendly and at the same time very professional. In a couple of cases she really got out of her way to do what was necessary for my teeth, even though we were not sure if the insurance would cover it or not. I have recommended her to many of my friends!
The office is clean and nicely decorated, the staff are friendly, and the doctor herself is knowledgeable and also projects an image of confidence, which is pretty important — I for one feel nervous if I get the impression that my doctor is not sure about what he or she is doing!

I love going to Dr. Mortazavi! She’s really friendly, calm, and reassuring and plus the office looks great and is relaxing, so I guess it’s a good thing she was so concerned with her new paint and décor =P I don’t have trouble getting reminders on time and when I changed my number they called the right one. Besides that, both her and her assistant put me at ease… honestly, I don’t think the dentist should be talking to you while your mouth is wide open and you can’t talk back, it’s kinda ridiculous to expect it =P

I used to go to the dentist who sold the practice to Dr. Mortazavi and I continued with her for about a year and a half (3 visits). The first time I went to her, she seemed more concerned with her new paint, décor, and office chairs. She talked about them constantly while doing the cleaning and the only feedback I got was «looks good.» The second and third times, the hygienist and doctor talked about me as if I weren’t in the room while doing the cleaning.
The way the office is run is also pretty bad. They sent dental reminders about a month after the check-​up was due and seemed to have real trouble calling my new number. Instead, they continuously called my parents’ house even after being told that I had a new number.
I was excited at first because they were able to schedule appointments at my convenience… now I realize that the reason why was because they have hardly any customers.

I have been seeing Dr. Mortazavi to have my teeth fixed for quite some time, and I think it is one of the most pleasant experiences I could have at a dentist’s office.
If you are someone who is scared of the dentist and always reluctant to go, I would say that try this one. will change your mind as I did at last. :)
