Park Avenue Preschool

Our kid’s been in Park Ave for over a year. A fantastic preschool! All the teachers and assistants provide a loving, educational environment. Finding care and education for your child can be extremely stressful, but Park Avenue makes it rewarding. There’s a good mix of kids, and they are well-​taken care of. Love it!

We LOVE Park Avenue Preschool. Our 3-​year-​old has been there for almost a year, and has flourished under the kind, patient, and loving care provided by the teachers and staff. We learned about Park Avenue from a fellow parent whose children were in the same daycare as our children, so we decided to schedule a visit. I was impressed with their program and their overall philosophy about educating young children.
Our daughter has been tremendously happy at the school, and always comes home with lots of stories to tell us about her day. The teachers are simply wonderful, and very tuned in to the needs of all of the children in their care. Our daughter loves Ms. Louise and all of her «teachers» at Park Avenue.

My 4 year old son started at Park Avenue Preschool in September and absolutely loves it. His teacher is great and so are all of the other staff. My son has learned so much in the short time that he has been there it is amazing. I am happy to know that he will be ready for Kindergarten and I have Ms. Ophelia to thank for that.

My four year old loves going to preschool. His teacher is amazingly patient and the preschool is very dedicated to making sure his growth is on the right track. They have a great schedule with the kids and quarterly reviews to track their progress. They are open till 6pm which is very helpful for my husbands schedule.
I have watched our sons growth multiply at this preschool and we are very happy with the staff. I would recommend this preschool to everyone. It took us a long time to find a preschool that is this evolved in our sons growth and education. Everyone on the staff cares about each kid. They really are amazing teachers.

My son came here in 2009-​11 and we loved this preschool. Ms Ofelia is a great teacher and the rest of the staff is good too. He learned so much that when he went to kinder his teacher said he was advanced for his age (this put a huge smile on my face) I recommend this school to all my friends. currently my daughter is on the waitlist but as soon as she turns 3 she will be attending :)

After hearing about Park Ave from a friend, I came to tour the school and was very impressed with the atmosphere. The staff work very hard and it shows in the clean, welcoming, and overall wonderful learning environment. After having our son enrolled for a few months, we quickly put our daughter on the wait list (you have to wait until your child turns 2 for them to attend). We have been so pleased with all that our kiddos are learning, and how happy and proud they are to be at park ave preschool! The teachers are both amazing and the whole staff is very friendly and helpful-it’s obvious they love working with children!

My son was a former student of this school, and when he entered kindergarten, her teacher was amazed of how academically advanced he was. I highly recommended this school because the staff are super dedicated, specially the head teacher. my son absolutely loved that school.

My child had been in attendance just short of two months. so far, I’ve been very pleased with how well she has adapted to her new surroundings and with how much she has learned. To a normal person, it would seem a bit chaotic coming in, but. she loves it there and the staff is always attentive to both her needs and mine. The staff are all very much engaged in each child’s needs and understands their differences in upbringing and their cultural differences! I am updating my rating to 5 STARS! New to the school AND they let me choose Summer hours so our family can still work and save a bit of money? yes. I adore Ms. Louise. she just adores the children so. you can tell

Melba MacDonald (1920 – 2006) started Park Avenue preschool after being St Leo’s first ever Kindergarten teacher. The kids fondly called her Miss Melba and was a huge advocate for the welfare of children.

LOVE! LOVE! Love! Park Avenue!!! Can’t say enough good things about the teachers and the program they have. My twins have been attending for 4+ months and I am so happy with the progress they are making. At only 2 ½ they are speaking in complete sentences and are learning colors, letters and numbers, phonics and on and on.
So far so good! Very happy mommy, daddy and two kids!!!

Park Avenue Preschool offers a warm and nurturing environment for a child to learn age appropriate academics, life skills, and enjoy play-​based activities. The teachers and director genuinely care about the well being and education of each individual child. I am fortunate we were referred to Park Avenue Preschool by a good friend. The school is amazing!

My daughter went here, man she learned so much, my other daughter is definitly coming here when she’s of age.

I love this school! My older son attended for three years and loved it. He is now in elementary school and had such a great base of learning at Park Ave. He went into kindergarten completely prepared and his kinder teacher even commented about what a great educational base he came in with. The teachers have been there for years and so there is no turnover. They are loving, warm and fun and truly enjoy the kids. The facility is great and the Montessori-​style offers each child the opportunity to excel at their own pace. They sing songs, do arts and crafts and even have field trips. And, the potty train! My younger son attends now and thoroughly loves attending school. He wakes up and says he wants to get dressed and go to school. He loves it!
The cost is very reasonable and they do full time and part time enrollment. The price also includes snacks and lunch.
