Place is nostalgic for those locals, kinda… Get the Chicken Cacciatore, it’s the best item on the short menu

Not so much. :-(we decided to try this Jacks since we’ve been fans of the other Pizza Jacks For many years. Ever since the 80’s when it was on Alma and Monterey and they had belly dancers. Lol pizza is bland and thin rubbery crust :-(Not the original Jacks pizza recipe. Fries were homemade limp and greasy. Will not be back unfortunately. 40.00 later for an extra large 3 topping, 3 fountain drinks, and fries. The staff were great though. Youngsters with servants hearts.

This place has new owners as of October 2014. Hubby and I went there last night to try it out and we were impressed. Located in a small strip mall, we arrived and were warmly greeted by one of the owners and seated promptly. There were a couple of groups enjoying their meal. We ordered a large salami, olive and mushroom pizza and two sodas. It arrived quickly and was delicious, I really liked the crust, it wasn’t your typical crust, sort of thin, but not chewy, all the toppings were fresh. We enjoyed our pizza and watched the big screens they had. We’ll definitely be back, great food, clean restaurant and excellent customer service made for a great night out.

Great place to eat, drink and relax. We ordered the combo pizza and it was great. Also had the HOT Chicken wings, did I say Hot. I also ordered a margarita and Wow. Bottom line great food and drinks!!!

I’m not a big pizza fan but was in a rush one night and grabbed a pepperoni with bacon for dinner… and I was impressed! Real bacon pieces(not bits) and great crust. Don’t understand the poor reviews I’ve read on here. Sure the neighborhood isn’t that great but that’s usually where you find the little «hole in the wall places» such as this one

I haven’t had anything from here that I didn’t like. Their carne asada tacos are the BEST! Loaded with tons of meat and their tortillas are cooked and salted and are DELICIOUS. The burritos are also freakin HUGE!

They are lacking their own ingredients for their meals. No fries with their dish since they are out of potatoes. Also the pitcher of Cola was flat. The prices are good, enough tables and chairs.

The waitress was very nice but the food is terrible. When I walked in and saw that the employees were Mexican, I figured I should order Mexican food rather than Italian. One person I was with ordered manicotti, but the waitress said they only had eggplant Parmesan or lasagna. He ordered lasagna and after eating part of it said he should have ordered Mexican food. I ordered a chicken chimichanga, which came with rice and beans. The chicken was sparse and overcooked. The rice and beans tasted like they’d been covered in salt. Even the chips before the meal were bad. The salsa was good but the chips were just weird. I didn’t know it was possible to screw up tortilla chips. Sigh. Again, the waitress was awesome!

Great food for a great price. But not in the best neighborhood. Don’t go after dark.
