My wife, Christine, and I found Tony on Unilocal,and we are so glad we did. We met for our engagement and wedding photos. He’s always kind when directing his photos, and his team is very friendly as well. He is professional, hard-​working, and always punctual among other things. He made us feel very comfortable when he was shooting us… we almost forgot he was around most of the time haha :) As a result, the photos are beautifully natural and not pose-​y or forced.
For our wedding day, he came a couple of hours early, which we really appreciated. He understood our schedules on that day were so hectic, and he did a great job calming my wife during the stressful «prepping» process. Overall, you will not regret having Tony and his team shooting your photos. Thank you so much, Tony and team!

Tony was amazing for us and we can’t think of anyones else to do an amazing job for our engagement and wedding pictures.
We only met a few times for our Engagement and Wedding photos. Because my wife and I didn’t live together at that time, Tony was willing to work with our hectic schedule and us with his.
Our Engagement session was awesome! We never thought of picking places that meant something to us so when we took pictures at the locations we were amazed with how good Tony made us look in these pictures! I mean wow! We knew we were in good hands and looking at the engagement photos just made it that much clearer.
The day of the wedding, I have nothing but praise for him and his assistant. We only met once before our wedding, and a couple emails back and forth with info on what was going on that day, but they were a fantastic team that day and my Wife and I just enjoyed the day and each other while Tony captured some great moments of us and the wedding. Although it was hectic, my Wife and I did not stress one bit about our special day. That day went by so quick and looking back at these photos brings a smile and tears to our faces. We have found our photographer for many years to come.

Tony did an excellent job on our engagement /​pre-​wedding pictures. He is very easy to work with. He is very polite and friendly. We told him what we wanted, and he would do the professional part to make it happen, also provided his great ideas and suggestions. He spent more time with us for the photoshoot, more than what we expected. He did great job on capturing the special moment. We are extremely happy with the pictures that we received from Tony. Too many good pictures. We highly recommend Tony if you want gorgeous pictures.

Tony was the photographer for my traditional Ethiopian wedding in march 2015. He is such an amazing photographer not only in his work but also in the person he is! I met with Tony prior to the wedding date and he made me feel comfortable enough to ask questions, see samples, discuss ideas and work within my budget. I could contact him whenever I had any ideas or concerns and he addressed them immediately! The day of, Tony and his team were on time, had great ideas, were very flexible and most of all they were so much fun to be around. My guests could not stop talking about how accommodating, friendly and professional Tony was! In the end, my pictures were incredible!!! Tony was always the photographer for all of my family weddings, so we knew that we had to have him photograph our wedding this past June at the Oceano Hotel in Half Moon Bay. From the first initial contact until we received our photo album, Tony was there every step of the way answering and asking if I needed any assistance with the wedding. Tony was wonderful, organized, and pretty much everything that you can ask for from a photographer. He captured moments that still blow me away. My husband and I can’t thank him enough for everything that he has done for us.

We loved our experience with Tony and his assistant as our photographers! We could not have asked for a better experience. The photographs are absolutely beautiful and both him and his assistant did a great job of making us feel comfortable. Loved the photo books as well. Tony is a great guy and wonderful photographer. He was a pleasure to work with and helped me and my family feel very comfortable. The pictures turned out great and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely use Tony again in the future!

We couldn’t have had a better photographer for our wedding than Tony! It was by far one of my best proudest decisions for my wedding back in September (other than picking my husband to be the groom… :P).
The first thing that stands out about Tony, before we even get into his amazing photography skills, is that he is the most personable person I’ve ever met. Everyone at our wedding was a huge fan of him!!!
My father-​in-​law, after the wedding, literally talked about Tony for a whole five minutes, about how he was so likable and accommodating. My husband was also super impressed. Tony met my whole family when he came over to do our engagement photos and my parents also really really liked him.
He’s easy going, makes you feel really comfortable, and like others have posted, he is genuinely passionate about photography, which assured us that we were in good hands.
Another key reason that we picked Tony was that our best man, who is a bit of an aspiring photographer himself, was a great fan of Tony’s work/​portfolio. Needless to say, our pictures turned out great!
There are so many great things to say about Tony.

I received a small batch of photos today (rush-​since we are having a banquet in Taiwan as well and need some pictures to decorate) and they look wonderful!
On the day of the wedding, Tony and Malia were great to work with. They constantly communicate with each other (and us) to try and get the best picture from the best angle. They came up with so many fun ideas in addition to the usual wedding photos!
The small batch of photos I received a week after the wedding (I know! Tony is VERY accommodating) look great! I already have some favorites.
Can’t wait to see the rest of the photos when we get back from our honeymoon!

Where do I start? Tony is wonderful. He’s extremely professional and organized. I actually had guests tell me how nice my photographer was. Tony goes above and beyond to make your day special. We only contracted him for 6 hours at the venue but he came early to the hotel to get some extra shots of the girls getting ready. I was floored by that extra step and it made my day a little more special.
Nothing negative about Tony. If you want gorgeous pictures and a photographer that makes you feel special, book him.

Honestly, I am almost speechless about how talented & wonderful Tony Q. and his wife were to work with & then the end results just topped it all off! Our pictures were simply amazing! I am a photographer myself, so probably a tougher critic than most and they surpassed any expectations I ever had. I researched over 30 wedding photographers in the area, and so many were either way overpriced and/​or just not that creative. Tony Q. has a true eye for photography and the people skills that need to go with it. He was by far the best overall for his creativity and for his surprisingly very affordable rate! We are so happy we choose to work with this dynamic team to capture our wedding day.
From the very beginning, Tony was so easy to talk with over the phone & especially in person. He is such a great guy & makes you feel very comfortable right away. Our elopement took place in the very remote area of Big Sur and included a lot of hiking in very steep & rocky areas and they were all for it 100% of the way. Just goes to show that this team is up for any challenge.
The «Q» team both took photos so they could capture our elopement from a variety of creative angles and perspectives. After looking back at all the great photos, I can say it really paid off to have them both there. Not to mention, Tony’s wife is a such a sweetheart & was a huge help for a bride who was without her maid of honor & bridesmaids. At times, she helped me with my dress, my hair, and even carried a small pack for me during our hikes… Thank you Q again for all your help. Much appreciated! Our whole elopement experience in Big Sur wouldn’t have been the same without them. Also, I really must mention their incredible turnaround time on our wedding photos, which surpassed any other photographer I’ve ever know. Thank you again for capturing our day so beautifully! We will cherish them always!

Tony was our wedding photographer at our March wedding in San Francisco. We were able to also have him shoot our engagement photos at a park in San Jose.
I was very concerned about my soon to be husband’s reaction to anyone telling him what to do, since he is a little camera-​shy and generally shy, but Tony set him at ease, and he really liked Tony and his approach to photography.
Tony was able to get some incredible shots of me, my husband and our family and friends, even some live-​action shots of the dancing.
We were on a crazy tight budget, and yet there was a package for us. And we never felt like we were one of his lesser clients. He told me when I interviewed him to go and interview 5 other photographers so that I would know what I was getting. I did, and he was by far the most talented, professional and affordable. I really love that he sent me the pictures, they weren’t in a vault for 5 years, or I could only have the prints, the disk of the photos was mine!
I love the photo book I got with the package, but I am also an artist and I wanted to make photo books for my family and new family and I was able to do that with Tony’s pictures.

We booked Tony for our wedding recently and were very impressed by his professionalism and enthusiasm to get great pictures throughout the night. Even in our initial meeting we liked his personal touch to his photo services. Tony definitely works very hard to capture all the important and memorable moments — my friends even commented that they had never seen a photographer stay so involved throughout the entire wedding since some tend to disappear during the reception. Despite being so involved, he was able to accomplish all his shots while staying very much in the background so that we could focus on having fun in the wedding. And in the moments where we wanted to find him because we felt a good shot was present, he was already there — great photo intuition.
I was moved by the fact that he was even willing to get dirty and lie down for shots — but also screamed because it was a Tom Ford suit.

Tony was our wedding photographer back in August, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. For all of the months leading up to the wedding, Tony was in touch often enough that we felt at ease that he would know what we wanted – but not so often that it was overbearing.
Additionally, we did a set of engagement photos as a warm-​up to the wedding. Generally speaking, I do not do very well in front of cameras. Tony made it easy to forget that we were essentially posing for the camera, and the shots came out great. We were so pleased with the way that everything turned out – he has an excellent visual flair, and is very professional in how he approaches every detail. He’s a pleasure to work with, and the results are phenomenal.

Tony is amazing! Not only is his work beautiful and professional, but you feel like you have made a friend in the process. His down to earth, warm personality makes you feel like he is part of the family. He captures all of the candid moments in the most magical way. Look no further, Tony is your man!!!

Tony is an honest good guy. If i needed portraits, I’d hire him. His portfolio is awesome and I have been in his house and seen more of his work and eye! I recommend and endorse for your photography needs! :)

Tony did our wedding photos and he surpassed everything I could have dreamed our pictures to look like. I have been compliments on them from everyone! Tony is a quiet, laid back photog but when it is time to get the shots he knows exactly what to say in order to get his shot. If it were left up to us, our photos would have been cheesy… Tony helped create photos that look like they belong in a bridal magazine (everyone says so)!!!
While planning I looked at so many different wedding photos online and would think «I want my photos to look like these» but I just knew those brides had huge budgets and spent a small fortune on their photos (which I didn’t have). Tony gave me those magazine-​worthy photos without the price of an arm and a leg attached to them!

I got married in August 2011 back in my hometown in Idaho although my fiancé and I live in the Bay Area. Planning a wedding out of state is an adventure all on it’s own but the search for a photographer was frustrating for me. I heard about Tony through my hair stylist, they had worked on a photo shoot together and she thought he was awesome. I met Tony after many frustrating searches for a wedding photographer that reflected our taste. I’m really weird about wedding photos and I didn’t want ours to look pedestrian. I quickly found out that Tony can do anything!!!
He is so talented. We told him that we wanted lots of party photos as opposed to staged ones. He did both so well. I can’t say enough good things about him. After I saw his work I couldn’t stop looking at his website. I fell in love, and was willing to break the budget I had set aside for a photographer, just to get him but then we found his photo packages are completely reasonable! I was blown away.
Tony is extremely fun to work with. The day of the wedding was very stressful and he had a calming effect on everyone. He has this down to an art/​science and requires hardly any direction which is great when everyone is running around like crazy people the day of the wedding. He turned a somewhat stressed group of people into a relaxed fun wedding party. He did a great job! The photos are great, I’m a slacker bride and have still not picked all the ones for my photobook… I can’t narrow them down! I cannot overstate how «WORTH IT» it was to book him for our big day. Tony is an amazing photographer and he was very easy to work with. My husband and I were very impressed with his work and extremely reasonable prices, so we booked him.
On our wedding day, our ceremony was in the morning and he drove all over san jose to take pictures of my husband and me getting ready (we were at separate locations across town), then followed us to the ceremony. After the ceremony he came home with us and took more photos while we had the tea ceremony. After our tea ceremony he threw together a beautiful slideshow for us that he displayed on a digital picture frame at our reception, instead of taking a break or a nap. My friends and family that were not able to make the morning ceremony were able to enjoy some of our photos that he took… which btw looked great! Tony also printed out a bunch of cards with our engagement photos on them for ppl to take home.
I’d have to say that Tony went completely above and beyond for Jon and me and I am more than impressed with the photos I’ve seen him take thus far. So…
This is why you should hire Tony to do any type of professional photography:
1. He is so hard working — he will come early/​stay late … he does whatever needs to be done to get you what you want. He bends over backwards!
2. He is easy going and has a great personality — extremely easy to work with, and a pleasure.
3. He isn’t going to rip you off. He is priced below market value. Bang for buck, you are getting a steal if you book him.
4. Last but not least, his photos are amazing! From the sample photos that he put together for our slide show, I got so many compliments from friends and family — Not only do the photos look great, they capture the essence of that moment!

I’m so happy that Tony was our photographer for our engagement session and wedding. Tony is an amazing photographer who takes beautiful pictures. After visiting other photographers, we chose Tony due to his professionalism, passion for wedding photography, style, quick communication via email, and affordable wedding packages.
Our engagement session took place in Davis, since that is where my husband and I met in college. It was amazing how Tony captured us as a couple and how he made U.C. Davis look so pretty. The turnaround for the pictures was a week, and I was quite excited to receive the CD of the photos.
On our wedding day, Tony was available all day to capture all of our moments. He arrived early to take preparation pictures of the bride and groom, and left after all the dancing was over. It was practically a 15 hour day!
What I love about Tony is how he accommodated all the family members who wanted to take pictures. I’ve seen other photographers who would yell at the family members to move out of the way of the pictures. In addition, I love how Tony provided a slideshow during the reception of some pictures that he processed. I received lots of good feedback from my family members who saw the pictures.
I would highly recommend Tony as your wedding photographer! Tony is definitely one of the easiest vendors that I’ve worked with through the wedding process, since he listens to his clients. He is the best at what he does :)
