Precision Auto Body & Glass

This is literally the worst place to get anything on your car fixed. I rear ended someone last year and they had my car for two weeks and we ended up having to take it back a second time because it wasn’t fully fixed and the paint was fucked up. Fast forward about 32 days ago when I was the one who got rear ended, had to replace the whole under side, said it’ll be about 6 days, fucked up my rental car situation, told me I’d get it back around 9:30 this morning and it’s almost noon and they’re not answering their phones ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would NOT recommend.

Had a small fender bender was very pleased with the help and support the shop staff gave me as my vehicle was being worked on after it was fixed was very happy and pleased would highly recommend this shop to my friends and family thanks agian

I had a fender bender which was replaced and painted at Los Gatos Acura dealership through the insurance company. Later I noticed the re-​paint color wasn’t a match so I took it to Precision Auto (from past repairs) and Gary was able to match the midnight blue/​black color. They did a great job, even reattached my license plate that had be torn off.

I became associated with Precision through a recent accident and I can honestly say despite the insurance company’s incomptinence; they picked a good shop to send me to. These guys have it together; they’re fast, honest, know what they are doing and are conveniently located.
Gary went above and beyond to see that I was taken care of and that my vehicle was restored to a like new condition. When I find some extra money, I will definitely be coming back to modify my ride.

I can’t think of anything to say that hasn’t already been written. Precision Auto and Gary are professional, honest, fair, quality driven, resourceful, and detail minded. I have visited them twice. Gary remembered me and my car! While I hope I don’t see them again (I mean, who wants ot be in an accident???), I would not hesitate to use their shop again.

My reason for using PAB&G was an accident on 9÷5÷14, front end damage of the most fun kind: bumper, radiator, and eventually manifold replacement. My insurance required using this shop and from my very first phone call to Gary the afternoon of my accident, I had an inkling I was going to be well taken care of. Due to dings on my driving record, my chosen insurance company is far below average, especially in customer service, so this process has been drawn out over the month following the Claim. Through all of it, Gary at PAB&G had my back, and went out of his way to sooth my mind, and offer excellent customer service.
Highlights! That first phone call: I was leaving town for the weekend and Gary told me not to worry about my car, to enjoy my weekend, reminded me there’s nothing I can do about it from out of town, and that he’d have it towed on Monday upon my return, all I had to do was call.
Gary recommended I call the claims adjuster every day, while we waited for the estimate approval, and he said he’d do the same. He kept communicating with me throughout the process, letting me know of any developments or lack there of, and never made me feel like I was bothering him. Not even once!
He gave me the number of his contacts at Enterprise, Rex and Sergio, with which the only problem I had was that Gary quoted me $ 22/​day, and Sergio said it was actually $ 25/​day. (Gary ended up knocking money off my final bill with Precision because of that inconvenience, which he had no obligation to do!)
He was incredibly flexible about when I could pick up my car once it was done, understanding completely that I work during the same hours his shop is open, and volunteering to stay at the shop until I arrived, only asking that I let him know when that would be. When the time finally came to pick up the car, the message never got to him that I would arrive at a specified time (thumbs down to the associate who I spoke to that didn’t get the message to him), but Gary called me the following morning, came to the shop outside of business hours, offered to pick me up if I needed a ride, and gave me his cell phone number just in case. Above and beyond the call of duty! He also knocked a denomination off my bill because I couldn’t pick up my car the evening before.
In conclusion, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Gary with Precision Auto Body and Glass is the most amazing professional that I have worked with. As other reviews have stated, I hope I never need his services again, but if I do, I know I will be taken care of! (He even told me that if I needed anything unrelated to body work (tires, oil change, etc.) I should call him and get a referral!

The owner/​estimator Gary iGrande s professional, practical, honest, experienced and knowledgable. He assisted me with estimates and potential remedies for needed body work on our Lexus, immediately and competently.

They recently handled replacing my rear left hand door, after a hit an run. Gary was fabulous! Very professional and gave me an excellent deal! He not only looked for pick and pull parts, but did price breakdowns and walked me through the entire process. Extremely stress free. His professionalism and kindness, and quite frankly patience with all of my questions, really stuck with me. I even went back today for more repairs, due to another mishap, because I was so Wowed from my previous experience. Would highly recommend for any repair.

Gary (the owner) was referred to me by a Realtor I had met.
He’s about the friendliest and most honest businessman you could ever meet. He easily could have charged me more for my work but didn’t just so he could «take care of the customer». I look forward to referring him more customers (even though he’s a Raider fan haha).

As usual Gary is the man! After some jerk off broke in to my car I called Gary to find out about window and glass repair. I kid you not he had a glass guy to my office fixing my window in less then 2 hours (on a Friday morning! In the rain!) He also wrote me out a very detailed estimate to take to my insurance company, as well as advising me on how to haggle with the adjuster. When State Farm told me I should go to a referred shop I kindly told them to suck it. Gary will always have my business because he treats all his customers like they are the most important thing. Thanks again guys!

Everyone at precision went above and beyond to help me and make this a pleasant experience. Their goal was to keep things as easy as possible for me. I got a rear bumper replaced and Ill be back if I need any more repairs. So nice! All you need to do is pop in & you’ll see how awesome everybody is.

I was referred to Precision Auto Body about 6 years ago and truthfully, all my dealings with them have been easy, efficient and my car is returned to me looking as perfect as it can be. The owner, Gary Grande has years of experience and makes the experience painless. My most recent experience was that my car was totaled. He assisted me through the process and gave my the best advise possible. I would not hesitate to recommend this business to anyone. It’s a family business and the work is perfect and at a reasonable price.

I went to Precision because my car was rear ended. Being the crappy circumstances, I was expecting to get hosed one way or another from either the insurance company, or the mechanic who I figured would be taking advantage. After my insurance had what they needed, I was almost instantly called by Gary. On the phone he was extremely informative and awesome. He politely explained everything that would happen in the coming day.
I brought my car in and the incredible customer service continued. Again, he was informative and told me not to worry. I explained I didn’t know anything about cars and had no clue what to expect. Gary explained what they would be fixing and what he could fix extra without charging me a dime. After I signed the proper documents, he called me a ride from Enterprise and I was on my way.
I got a call a few days later saying the car was ready to be picked up, so I went later that night. The back end of the car that was previously dented looked brand new. He even threw in a few things to make the car look nicer at no cost. I asked him about a few other things I would be willing to pay to fix and he is currently looking for the best offer for me. I am incredibly pleased with the service.
I went back about a week later because my car had been side swiped and was pretty scraped up. I was expecting to pay $ 500+ to have it fixed and was not in a good mood. He had one of his employees come out and fix it all up for me! They basically wiped away the scratches and touched up the paint free of charge! I have never had such amazing service in the automobile industry. I now recommend Precision to every single person who has a car. I will be returning to see Gary every time there is any issue with my car.

Got into a rear end accident. (I’m ok, but thanks for your worry:)) Gary made the process so easy, I thought to myself thank god my insurance recommended precision to me.
The process was this. Accident. Call insurance. Gary called me not 20 minutes later. I tell him I’ll be there at 2. He calls at 1:50 to ask if I’ll be on time. I was. And he had enterprise there at the shop waiting for me! He kept me in the loop the entire time, my car looks better than it did before my accident (they wash your car for you after the repair). Big fan of this place. Hope I’ll never have to go back, but I know if I do, I’ll be taken care of by good people who do great work.

I’ll be honest. I didn’t have any work done here. I’m giving them 1 star because I never got the chance.
I dropped off my car at a mechanic up the road that was recommended by the owner of Precision Auto Body. He, the mechanic, and I worked out a system where the car would be fixed on Monday, and they would coordinate delivery up the road (about ¼ mile) to the body shop where the dents could be worked on.
I didn’t hear anything until Thursday, and that’s only after I called to check up on the progress. The shop owner told me, bluntly, «We aren’t going to work on your truck this week because we’re too busy. Bring it in next week».
Well crap. I just went without my truck for 3 days, walking the kids to school and not buying groceries, and this guy didn’t even have enough class to call me and let me know he didn’t pick it up to work on it. The truck was still at the mechanic. All he had to do was call me Tuesday and tell me they’re too busy, and I would have brought it in later. But no — he had to inconvenience me in stead.
I arranged for a pickup, and you can bet I’ll not be bringing it to Precision for the work it needs. They lost my confidence. I don’t care if they do good work, or if they are the worst shop in the Bay Area — I will no longer give them the chance to show me.

Took my S2000 to Gary and the crew after some punk pulled a hit-​and-​run on my front end. I don’t let just anyone work on my car but Precision was highly recommended. They definitely didn’t disappoint. My ride was repaired in no time. The work was flawless and service was top notch.

Being a girl, I’m always afraid of being hosed by anyone to do with cars… dealerships, mechanics, auto body shops, you get my drift.
There was nothing scary about Precision Auto Body. Gary, the owner is great. So friendly and helpful. HIs son was also very nice. I knocked off part of my car while parking against a wall (no, I wasn’t drinking) and they were actually able to put back on the original part. I can not tell you how much of a relief that was. HA to all my friends and family that were laughing at me for carrying that part around =)
I’m on a bit of a time crunch and because of these wonderful guys, I was able to avoid renting a car and spending a grip on new parts! I’ve been so stressed about car stuff lately (its time to either turn my lease in or buy it out) & to have one less thing to stress about was priceless.
Thanks so much Gary!!! PEOPLE go take your humpty dumpty car to precision auto body… they can put it back together again!!! =) Not only can they do good work, but they wont take advantage of you in the process. Thats key =)

I have a 2001 VW and if any of you own one of the these then you know the front bumper totally sucks on it. Especially if you park too close to a parking stop or go over it with your bumper… yeah that sucker will rip out your front bumper.
Yes, it happened to me, so I called up Precision Auto Body & Glass and I didn’t want to tell him how my bumper came off. As soon as I told him the year & model of my car & the problem his first answer was «you went over a parking stop didn’t you» LOL!!! Guilty!
They put that bumper back on & bolted it down for me & it was under $ 200 & less then 4 hours!
So, fast forward to a month later, I must of went over a parking stop again because now the left side of my bumper is hanging hahaha. Called up Gary and he remembered me! He is going to put it back on for me with no charge!
So, if you’re looking for a Trustworthy, Customer/​Family Oriented & Reasonably Priced Body Shop then this is the place to go. I’ll be going here for all my body work or glass in the future.
