I took my daughter to Professionail yesterday to get a full gel set manicure and a pedicure for her Junior prom. I will never return to this establishment due to their lack of customer service, poor quality of work and misleading approach. My daughter explained the manicure nail style she wanted to one person and showed her a picture. Then a different person began working on her nails so my daughter felt a need to explain again. This person did not listen to her request. She was very curt and kept saying she knew what to do. Another person asked me if I would like my nails done while I waited for my daughter. I said yes to a clean up of my natural nail and a pedicure which is relatively inexpensive. As the person doing my daughter’s manicure spoke, she said something that did not make sense to me. So I asked her for clarification. She responded in a snide manner while the person doing my manicure laughed. She continued to laugh while speaking in another language to the two ladies working on my daughter’s nails for at least 20 minutes. Clearly, my agitation was known because the person doing my pedicure asked me if I was ok. The person doing my manicure proceeded to paint my nails a color but left a large, uneven gap, then she did a clear coat that did not completely cover the color. When she left to paint another person’s nails next to me, I asked the person doing my pedicure to fix my manicure. The person who did my manicure overheard me and began angrily talking again in another language to the person who was fixing my manicure. As the person doing my daughter’s nails finished up, I looked at her nails and they did not look like the picture at all. She walked over with us to the register and stated that the total was $ 86.00. Not expecting to pay this amount, I asked her to explain the costs. She said I received a spa pedicure, a manicure, and my daughter a gel full set and a spa pedicure. I stated that I never said I wanted a «spa» pedicure which is higher in price. I said I wanted a pedicure. Looking directly at me, she stated something in another language under her breath. I asked her to look at the poor quality of work done on my manicure. I told her that the person doing my manicure needs to talk less about her customer and focus more on what she is doing. She offered to fix my nails, but by now I had already seen the poor quality of work done on both my daughter and I. I just wanted to leave. I paid the amount and was reaching for a tip for the person who did my pedicure when the person at the register comes over to my daughter to give her a hug. Really??? This same person proceeds to walk over and yell at the person who did the poor quality on my manicure. As my daughter and I walk out of the door, the two of them were yelling at one another. In my opinion, a hug doesn’t replace misleading tactics, poor quality of work or lack of customer service. This nail salon should change it’s name to Un-​Professionail.

There should be an option for a NEGATIVE five stars. I live close by but I have not been back since a horrible experience over two years ago:
I had been a faithful customer for over two years when they treated me so poorly, I vowed in front of the owner and all the customers that I would NEVER give them my money again.
I always made an appointment with one nail tech who gave great service. I called to schedule an appointment with her and the owner asked me to come 30mins later than I wanted but I accepted. I was walking into the shop right behind another customer. There was some discussion in Vietnamese and there goes my nail tech with this other customer! I asked the owner why my appointment was being ignored and she just pointed to a different tech I’d never seen before so I called her on it– after all I’d come in right on the dot for my appointment with the nail tech I always preferred.
She just kept saying sorry – obviously the customer ahead of me was more important and also preferred my nail tech. Now I go to Blossom Nail Spa: if you make an appointment it goes into their computer system – no switches or bad surprises and worth every penny!

I would give zero stars if I could. I had an appointment at 4:30. Was not seated until 5. after which I spent 30 minutes sitting in a chair as my nail tech was doing god knows what. People that came in after me without an appointment were seated and being working on before I was even greeted by my nail tech. Also, the chair I was given was not working. I asked someone as they passed and they said it needed to be plugged in but she did not plug it in. When my nail tech came I asked her to plug it in and she said it was broken. Uh why would I pay so much for a below par pedicure? No massage or scrubbing of my feet. I came with someone and they were done 45 minutes before me because of all my waits. My nail tech even left me in the middle of doing my cuticles to see to another customer.

I love this place and come here whenever I want to get my nails done. They always make time for you, do great work, and are super friendly. Also, you can get a standard mani/​pedi for $ 36, which is an amazing deal.

This place is a total rip off. My nail tech cut me and was rough on my feet while speaking vietnamese really loud. The old lady which was at the front was not friendly to her customers. I use to go here a couple of years ago when the old crew was so much nicer. I don’t see them anymore.

The staff at Professionail sat me down on a pedicure chair, and then the lady pushed me as she was putting something in the foot tub. She told me to get up and go to another chair with a really annoyed voice, and had me sit with my feet in cold water for 45 minutes. I was waiting for my daughter to finish her manicure, so I waited, but after 45 minutes, they still did not start my pedicure. One of the ladies was apparently on break and sat next to me, put her feet up and just ate an apple next to me. Finally, I got up, paid for my daughter’s manicure, and told them that they really need to work on their customer service. They did not apologize or say anything at all. It was so strange.

I came here out of desperation because I needed my nails done for an event the next day, and this location was so close to my house. I originally asked for simple acrylic French tips, by the girl doing my nails recommended gel to prevent damage to my natural nails. I agreed to this, but soon regretted it. My nails were supposed to be oval shaped and rounded like I asked, but she filed them down to near-​sharp angles on all my nails. She did way too many layers, making the gel look very thick and fake on my fingers. The white also bled out onto the pink, making the tips look very messy.
Two stars for nice workers and a clean store, but unfortunately I expected more for what I’m paying.

I have been going to Professionail for about 4 years now and I absolutely LOVE IT! Everyone is so nice there but I always go to Bi. She knows exactly what I like and how i like it. I finally got my mom to start going here about 2 years ago and now she only goes to Bi. In all the time I’ve been coming I don’t think she has ever done a bad job. She always has great recommendations for me that I love! It is worth the price! I definitely recommend you try it out!

Came here for the 1^st time last weekend and it’s definitely my new favorite spot! Linh did an AMAZING job on my nails! I’m super picky and always re-​file my nails when I get home. Didn’t have to for the 1^st time EVER!!! She even cleaned my cuticles AND gave me a hand massage after she was done doing my nails. Typically you only get a massage with a manicure, not a fill. Pedicure was not too bad either. Obviously my favorite part of getting a pedicure is the massage and she did a pretty good job. Took her time and did a fabulous job on my toes too. They don’t talk smack either! I lied and said I was Filipino to listen to what kinda smack they talk and surprisingly no one said anything bad/​negative about the clients. I’ll definitely be back!

Been coming here for a few months now and I never leave disappointed. Definitely an upgrade from the previous place I was going to (pro nails) on McKee. You hearing that saying you get what you pay for…
These lady’s always have a smile and it doesn’t matter who I go to they all do such a great job. But I will say thu is really great at her craft. The manicures are exceptional! And the pedicures are great. They take they’re time and make sure I’m always happy. Big kudos I will never go anywhere else again

I decided to give them a 2^nd chance, since I live pretty close. My friend also told me to ask for Vivianne. I called on a wed. Morning and they said come on in. When I got there they seemed confused. I explained that I had just called. They sat me down. Then a lady asked me who my appointment was with. I said Vivianne. They moved me to vivianne’s chair. Where she began to work on my gel nails. I had to tell her several times that I need more color. On my way to work I noticed that she had missed big portions of my nail. The color was an apple red and on some areas it was soo bad that it looks white/​pink. This is the second time I’ve had my nails done there and both times they did s horrible job. Never again they suck!!!

I have fallen in love with this nail salon. I went in to get a fill for my acrylic nails with Tina and I absolutely love how they came out. I told her I wanted them short and she actually listened to me unlike other experiences I’ve had. I am very satisfied and will definitely be coming back for my next fill. It’s on the pricey side but it’s worth it!

The price is higher than some other places I’ve been but the attention to detail, the quality of work and the customer service here makes it worth every cent! my nails always last me four weeks and sometimes even longer!

It appears that I’ve officially come full-​circle.
From first-​to-​review back in 2007 to back in the ProfessioNAIL chairs in 2014 — I’m happy I gave this place another shot.
After my favorite gel manicurist left the place I used to go to religiously in Campbell, I reluctantly gave ProfessioNAIL another chance, purely due to my dire need for a fill and its close proximity.
Enter — Bi and Amy.
Bi manicured my nails back to perfection and is almost as meticulous as my previous girl who vanished from my previous nail place. She is nice, on time, and makes sure you’re happy with her work. I get colored gel/​shellac/​whatever you call it. She’s great. If you want another coat, a different shape, etc, just tell her. She strives to please.
Amy gives a great pedicure and massage. She’s also adept at finding and mixing the perfect polish color to match your colored gel on your fingers (since they likely don’t have a perfect match for your toes — unless you chose a color that comes with one).
I visit them every two weeks and look forward to it.
Not the cheapest place in the world, but I’m willing to pay a bit more for the quality and convenience. They also accept credit cards without giving you the evil eye or guilt-​tripping you into bringing cash next time! (I hadn’t realized how inconvenient it was to always have cash on hand for my previous place.) Plus, they’ll give you a stamp card that gets you a free service after like a million visits. Hey — better than nothing!
If you decide to try them out, tell them I sent you. Then I’ll know why it’s harder for me to get an appointment with my ladies Bi and Amy in the future. :)

I’ve been going here for almost a year, but I finally got some time to actually write this review! The ladies here are amazing, although I go for some specific girl, Bi. They are super accommodating, however, you need to be specific with them. The pedicures seriously so relaxing, especially since they take their time and you can’t forget their little massage as well with that warm towel! I usually come in every 3 weeks, I get the gel manicure and there’s no chip within those 3 weeks, not only that but my nails can definitely last me more than 3 weeks! I love this place and you should totally check them out. :)

I have been coming here for years! I love Vivan she is amazing! Although the service has changed over the years… I am loyal to Vivan she is amazing I have recently gotten more adventurous with my colors usually always colored tips to full on acrylic gel nails and I am so greatly Vivian is so patient and always does a great job! I still don’t know where else I would go if she were to leave this place.

I called in from the parking lot and asked if they had a opening for a pedicure they told me come in its a slow morning plenty of chairs walked in and the lady says oh were full its gonna take 30 to 45 min. I literally walked from parking lot to the door ! Would really appreciate the truth over the phone so I didn’t have to waste time !

I take that back… Thu deserves five stars. I recently switched from only acrylic (tips), to acrylic with a full gelish coat, and Thu delivered again. I’m OBSESSED with my nails! I’ve gotten gelish at other salons, and again, they never match the perfection of a job that Thu gives. Acrylic + gel is more work, and she still charges me the same.
She always makes sure that I have a pillow in my chair so that I can lean back comfortably. I just love her!

In desperation after other local nail salons had waiting periods of about forty-​five minutes, I decided to come to Professionail. The store is really long and narrow, with one aisle of space running down the middle. The owner really fit as many money making pedi chairs and nail tables as she could. I wanted both a manicure and pedicure and got sat way, far in the back, by the bathroom for a manicure only. The gal working on me was pretty distracted — getting up a few times to do who knows what and rushed through the manicure. She nicked me real good in the corner of my cuticle on my thumb and that thing stung like a b*tch for days. Days!
After a chair opened up (I don’t even think it was cleaned all that well in between customers), they planted me in a chair in which I waited around ten minutes for someone to start on my pedicure. The pedicure was actually decent, however, the nail tech wasn’t too good at dealing with my big toes which sometimes get close to getting ingrowns. My right big toe was a little sore afterwards. The paint job was good as was the massage.
The cramped drying area utilizes some really old machines with peeling pleather. This tiny area behind the counter is also not very clean.
Thing to note is that they do not clean their tools between customers and have used damp or wet scrubs to slough my feet. If you look at the condition of the store, e.g. along the baseboards or on the table tops, it’s super dusty and dirty.
Bottom line is, given the quality of the workmanship, some really bad nail techs, and unsanitary conditions, I’d avoid this place. It appears to be quite popular with the Real Housewives of Silicon Valley and local students, but honestly, you can pay approximately the same or less at better nails salons and get better work. I should have just waited elsewhere.

I have been going to the same salon for 8 years, but its by my old house and sometimes making a 20 minute drive for a pedi is not so relaxing. So i decided to take a risk and try a new salon.
I Unilocaled and found a good salon but because it was July 4^th it was closed. Because I was desperate for a pedi after a week of camping I came to Professionail without Unilocaling.
Upon walking in, it seem really small and everything was cramped to together. The nail polish selection was small and not impressive. The Spa chairs didn’t work properly and I became so irritated by it, I opted to not use the massage option.
They did not have a standard way of giving a pedicure. Some people were getting longer massages, other were getting hot towels which I am aware can be an upgrade but according to their menu there was only 1 pedicure option available. My massage was quick and and weak. I also felt like she didn’t take the time to scrub my feet well.
I also got a mani that day. She was very distracted and she would skip a nail, when cutting cuticles, filing or putting top coats. I had to tell her more than one time that she skipped a nail.
Overall I was unimpressed and not a happy customer BUT it get worse. The next day I woke up with this little red bumps or bites or something on my feet and toes. They itch and still have not gone away. I am sure they don’t clean their spas or tools.
I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN… AND ADVISE YOU NOT TOO AS WELL.
