Just had an amazing appointment — $ 20 for mini facial AND eyebrow threading ! Feeling refreshed !

I really want to give this place more stars cause the ladies here that I’ve encountered have been nice everytime but 3 stars is already being generous. I come here to thread my upper lip and wax my under arms. I go to Benefit Bar in valley fair for my eyebrow waxing. This place is nearby, not too long of a wait and is cheap! Cheap! Cheap! This place is also an Indian store that sells Indian cultural clothing and does some alterations. The waxing room really needs to be updated, you walk through what looks like a storage/​break room before getting inside the wax room. The bed they do not cover with the disposable paper runners, but I’ve seen a roll against the wall so I take the liberty to lay it on myself.
Today however, I am on a time crunch and had to do my underarms, lips but did not have time to drive all the way to valley fair to do my eyebrows so decided to just try it out here… MANJEET just really impressed me. I asked her to please not go too thin on my eyebrows cause I’m trying to grow them out. She did a fantastic job and I’m comparing her to the girl who does mine at benefit. I don’t mind doing my eyebrows here again. Best of all grand total for upper lip, under arms, and eyebrows was $ 16.00!!! Can’t beat that

All in all, you get what you pay for. It’s not bad, but it’s also not amazing.

I’ve been coming here for 6 years now and I absolutely love my results every single time. I’ve been going to Manjeet and the girls for my eyebrows since I was 15 and there’s no where else I would rather go, or trust to keep my eyebrows perfect and beautiful. :)

You can’t beat the $ 6 price! The workers are very friendly and work quickly, so you don’t have to wait around for long. I always love the way my eyebrows look at the end. I’ve also come in for waxing and henna before, both done to perfection! Would definitely recommend.

I go here two times a month and I’m always satisfied whenever Manjeet does my eyebrows! Let them know ahead of what you want for your eyebrows and they’ll be happy to do it for you! She’s really friendly and my eyebrows always come out how I want it.

I get my eye brows and upper lip threaded here they are fast and efficient I am in and out in 5 minutes if there’s no one ahead of me. I waxed my whole life but recently switched to threading and love it my eye brows are on point! 9 dollars for eye brows and upper lip is a steal! Definitely recommend this place to a friend.

I usually get my eyebrows done here and they turn out decent. Just wish that they didn’t raise the price to $ 6 or burn my eyelid today…

For $ 5 they know what they’re doing, good shape… don’t have to tell them what to do. If your want something special done tell them. Drive from south san jose to them (but gets inconvenient obviously so haven’t gone in a while). They’re clothes and jewelry are not good quality for what they sell them for (the material is on cheaper side. but I understand they did import it). They do gossip but whatever, can imagine if it gets boring lol
Have gotten waxing done, may change pricing by few $ depending on season I guess. Can keep waxing area a bit more cleaner, customer friendly looking. Price is medium for waxing. 55 $ (entire legs, and low back area, bum)

I come here to get my upper lip threaded. They have raised the price to $ 4. It use to be $ 3. I was a huge fan of $ 3 and not so much anymore. I prefer my brows waxed so I don’t like threading them here anymore. I think working on eyebrows is a form of art and the ladies here aren’t too artistic with my brows the way I want them to be in the past. Threading the upper lip, $ 4 is decent. All they have to do is remove your hair (No art to that) unless you like half hairy lips or something.
There signs are all jacked up. In front of the store, you can find threading prices and as you look at the other signs it will tell you another price. Very misleading. But $ 4 in and out, this is the place to go.

This is my go to threading place for my eyebrows. Its quick, its easy, and the threading actually lasts me a while.
Minus one star because what everyone says is true:
–They won’t ask you how you like your eyebrows. I come here for cleanups, if your shape is completely gone, i would recommend you go somewhere else.
–I have very sensitive skin, and since they are so rough and fast I usually bleed lol. But no big deal, it heals fast.
–They won’t put aloe gel, rub lotion, etc, etc
But for $ 6, (they raised the price from $ 5), its an amazing deal and i’ll keep coming back!

They do threading for the best price in the whole Bay Area. Who can even complain? $ 5 for eyebrow threading and they are great at shaping them. It’s relatively painless for me. They do waxing here too. The ladies are always nice, they are grateful for their customers and they even give certain rewards for people who help bring in more business. The owner is super genuine and sweet. All of their boutique items are very beautiful as well. The colors and sparkles and detailed sewing is mesmerizingly beautiful, I wish I had a reason to wear one!

Not a bad place even though I can name a couple places better, it’s not bad for $ 5 brow service! They gotta clean up the place though. There is thread everywhere.

Since I live in San Francisco for college, I visited here once every few months. However lately I noticed a trend of unwelcoming vibes from the ladies that thread. They aren’t always welcoming (it varies per time I’ve visited) and give you cold stares if you don’t tip more than they expect. They don’t always listen to how I’d like my brows shaped (I left with asymmetrical brows, one straighter & the other more round) but they have done a great job with my cousin when I took her here… I feel like it varies. Not consistent in their work but mostly unsatisfactory. They can be busy, but I’ve been here before when it wasn’t busy and the girls were just standing around and talking before they called me from the waiting area.
Parking lot is good, and the place is easy to find. They also accept cash or credit. But if you don’t feel like dealing with the ladies’ fluctuating moods, I wouldn’t go here.

$ 5 eye brow, very cheap. I used my group on coupon. The lady didn’t say much and finish in 3 minutes. Not as painful as another place I used to go. I’m very satisfied with the look, she did a great job shaping them. I will def come back.

I don’t live in San Jose, but I was in town and desperately needed to groom my bushy eyebrows. I tried going to the Evergreen Threading place, which was actually someone’s home, and there was no way I was going to get a walk-​in. There were way too many people waiting in the small room with only one threading chair and one woman.
So, I left and went here instead since it was nearby. The store is in a primarily Indian shopping center and they also sell Desi womens clothing: Saris, punjabis, bangles. There’s an area set up in the front corner of the store with mirrors and three chairs for threading and skin treatments.
When I walked in, I was greeted, said I wanted threading, and was brought over to the chair. Lucky for me I was the only one there for threading. After she’s done, go to the back register to pay.
PROS:
— Price. I got my eyebrows done for $ 5 and upper lip for $ 3.
— Spacious store with a parking lot
— The woman was pleasant and struck up a conversation with me and my cousin.
— My unibrow is gone… for now
CONS:
— I noticed someone mentioning on here that they don’t ask you how you want your eyebrows. Same happened to me. I noticed that she seems to give the eyebrows a more natural look. If you want something like sharp, defined, hoochie brows, you’re going to have to mention it.
— Hairs weren’t cleaned off, nor was I given a tissue. But then again I’ve never had anyone wipe my hairs off for me yet. Only place was when I was in Sri Lanka in which I paid less than $ 1 USD for the threading lol :) Best and cheapest threading I’ve ever had!
— Nothing was put on my skin afterwards. I did see some sensitive skin solution but forgot to ask for it.
Overall, for $ 5, I’m happy.

$ 5 eyebrow threading, takes only 3 mins max, and you’ll walk out needing to go to another threading place.

WHY I WENT HERE:
— I was in DIRE need to get my eyebrows threaded (I haven’t had them waxed for 2 years because the last time I had them waxed, the woman burned my face)
— my usual eyebrow threading lady was busy (she didn’t respond to my call or text)
— I quickly went on Unilocal to find an alternate place to get them done that was open and nearby
— I called ahead and the woman who answered the phone told me that
THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE):
— I’ve been to this plaza many times to visit the other businesses or go to the bank
— from the outside, this shop looks really small
THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE):
— it’s surprisingly spacious
— to the left with a glass shelf partition, the threading area is sectioned off with 3 salon chairs
— to the right there’s a mini waiting area with a couch (which looked dirty, nasty, and sunken in)
— to the right there’s also a desk and professional photos posted up (is there a professional photographer who works from here?)
— to the back is the actual boutique where the traditional Indian clothing is sold, and where the registers are located
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
— the woman who greeted me was warm and kind; she let me know how long my wait would be, seated me in the time length she estimated my wait time was, and proceeded to thread me herself
— she was swift but didn’t initially ask me how I wanted my eyebrows done (usually you’re asked if you want them thinner or left a bit thick)
— she never wiped the stray aways (the hairs threaded off) so when I got home and wiped my face, I noticed she gave me the shape, but left a LOT of hairs that don’t affect the shape still there, that I had to pluck them off
OVERALL:
— if you’re looking for something REALLY quick and cheap and you’re desperate, come here ($ 5 eyebrow threading only!)
— stick to the places who really take their time, even if it’s a few dollars more expensive than this place

I’ve never had threading done and yes, I can admit to being those people who watch girls get their eyebrows threaded from the second level of the mall. So I finally got the courage to get them done!
I’ve heard of threading, the concept behind it, as well as Pulvy’s from many girls via Facebook.
I have quite sensitive skin and found that waxing and plucking would leave my skin irritated and red. Manjit assured me it would be totally okay, with better results and less irritation. The threading was fairly quick, not as fast as waxing though. After about 5 – 10 minutes I was done with shapely eyebrows and little redness.
She told me that whenever getting eyebrows done, the shape should never be changed or made thinner. I totally agree with this, as your natural brow is the best fitting for your face.
She’s a very relaxed and was very mother like which was comforting. We talked a bit, as if we were friends and I left with even, shaped eyebrows for $ 5.
Definitely will be back!

Customer service not so great. But I come for the threading.
I come in, I say I want my brows threaded, I get threaded, I pay, I leave.
No further conversation with the peeps.
They do tend to make my brows a bit thin. Never asked how I wanted them or what I prefer.
Even when I said it was my first time and I was nervous, they didn’t say much to reassure me.
But I’d come again for $ 6 of clean threading and maybe
«try» to express how I would like them.
