If that is impressive, Ravi negotiated the price to which the appraisal has come for. This required Lengthy conversations with Listing agent, seller and Ravi. Ravi facilitated this with Diplomacy and fairness. He encouraged financial concessions by all parties. He was open and honest. He led the way by putting his concessions on the Table. Being first time buyers, the process of buying a house was difficult to handle. Ravi helped us out with good suggestions and answers to all our questions.
Even though he was in India, when we were hunting for houses, he was of great help thru his partner (Jaswant). He showed us a lot of houses, which helped us, narrow down on our ideal house.
He explained to us the difference of new homes versus old houses; the things to consider while hunting houses and choosing the right house namely school district, HOA, good area and house structure.
Once we had chosen the house, he helped us bargaining the price and ensured we got a good deal for it along with helping with selection of upgrades. Another important help was deciding which upgrades were better to get done later and which were better to get done upfront. On signing the contract, the amount of paperwork was pretty overwhelming which was clearly explained to us.
Next step was the loan process, he clearly explained the loan process with respect to adjustable rate and fixed rate. The differences highlighted helped us choosing the loan option ideal for us.
All in all, we are very pleased with our home buying experience and would strongly recommend Ravi to anybody for his or her real estate needs.

We were introduced to him by our lender from Wells Fargo, who had recommended Ravi because of his knowledge and experience with the bay area home buying process. He negotiated very professionally with the sellers and got us reimbursed for the pending repairs that showed up in the inspection.
He was very creative in closing an offer. We had a planned vacation before we had to close but made sure that all we can relax on our vacation without worrying about the transaction. We came back from our vacation and he had all the papers reviewed for us to sign. He also helped us get good financing rates from our lender due to his close working relationship with them. He is Honest and straight forward; does not waste time and punctual. He would like to get clear directions and opinions. He is very host and professional. He is available 24/7…very responsive to E mails and phone calls. He has good contacts. We had a very positive experience and would love to go back to him for future needs.

We met Ravi at a short sale property open house. We liked the property and wanted to go ahead and make an offer. As first time homebuyers, we had plenty of questions. Ravi invited us to his office and was very patient to answer all the questions.

We recently bought our second home through Ravi Shah. As buyers, Ravi has been very patient in dealing with us, Importantly he was not Pushy like others. We had quite a lot of non-​standard demands for the new home, apart from the common things (any usual buyers would have such as Location, Price, Size, etc.). Ravi has been very supportive on our requirements, appreciated every one of them and also provided valuable feedback on what is best for us and our family.
He showed us a wide variety of properties to gauge our taste and also understand the specifics and finally found the right property that met all of our needs. Once he showed us the property (the one we actually ended up buying), we could not believe ourselves; it seemed like a custom built home for us.
I have worked with Realtors in the past and Ravi is quite different in his outlook towards business. More than doing business, he wants to establish a long lasting relationship with his clients.

We wanted to buy a home in Saratoga or Cupertino. We needed a home closer to work, better schools, and more square footage. However, this was a special case because we were not ready to buy the house but wanted to do a ‘lease to own’ on the property. Since this is a unique kind of a deal, we hadn’t heard many Brokers that we talked to before, having had any experience with this. But Ravi was well informed as well as appeared to have had the experience of closing such deal. So we started off this journey with him about a couple of months ago.
We had some houses lined up that we were very impressed with, and wanted to go look at each of them maybe one time, sometimes, multiple times. We first went a weekend and narrowed down a couple of houses that we liked. He then rated our interests for each of the house, top to bottom and then started to work on the one that we were most impressed with.
This deal required a lot of careful negotiations and commitment to finish the work within a deadline and Ravi left us no room to complain there :-) He would be on the top of everything and every time we emailed/​phoned, or he phoned, he would have an update for us. In the meantime, we also found another house that we really liked and expressed our interest to pursue that as well. Without any hesitation, he willingly started making umpteen calls, to find out if we could pursue the second one as well, as a backup. This was done very professionally and in a very timely manner. The good thing was that we had two houses to choose from that both suited our needs, and we had a backup which was very important.
After careful negotiations for about a month, Ravi was able to get us our ‘dream home’.
We are very happy and content with the way he handled our case, and the great thing about him is that he a ‘go getter’. That worked majorly in our favor this time and we are very fortunate and happy to have found Ravi as out Broker!
