My passion is empowering singers to achieve their goals! I am a personal trainer, builder, and coach for singing voices. It is my job to make sure that the vocal exercises and songs work for you, to achieve your singing goals! I also serve as a guide to more dynamic performing abilities, the wide world of vocal music, and music theory and musicianship. I have been teaching singers of all levels privately for 15 years. My experience also includes teaching voice at college and university. My bachelor’s and master’s degrees are in vocal performance. With over twenty years of professional experience as a soloist, I understand what performing singers need.

History

Established in 2002.

Helping others find fulfillment in their singing is my passion. I’m committed to providing vocal education that provides the results that help my students reach their goals. I work with students of all ages. My students have won competitions, performed leading roles, and established successful bands. Some students have simply enriched their lives by experiencing their voices as stronger, more expressive, having wider range, and greater confidence. I knew from an early age I would spend my life singing and helping others through music. I received a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from San Francisco Conservatory of Music and M.A. majoring in vocal performance from San Jose State University. In addition to classical vocal technique, I have studied jazz, pop, folk, and Sean-​nos (old Irish style) singing. I have performed professionally for over 20 years. Although teaching is my focus, I am still acutely aware of what singers need going into performance and auditions.
