Established in 2005.

Michael graduated from Bryman college in 2004 in Los Angeles, CA. One year later, he moved to the Bay Area and continued to give massage while holding other cutomer service positions. Today, Michael’s reputation a massage professional continues to grow in the alternative health industry. Out of Michael’s love for providing the best massage services, was born Return to Wellness. Currently Michael is building a massage buisness, with a focus on blending Eastern and Western massage methods to offer clients.

Michael was very accommodating on short notice and promptly confirmed my appointment. When I arrived I was welcomed in to his quiet, peaceful and tranquil studio. His technique was spot on. He instantly knew the level of pressure that my muscles liked and was able to basically put me to sleep and let me just zone out while he worked on sore and tight muscles. The space is relaxing, professional and very convenient. I tend to talk during massage sessions but I was so much in a trance that I couldn’t speak. Only regret is not finding this massage studio sooner.

Michael is excellent. He has a combination of intuition and experience that makes the massage perfect, finding the little spots you didn’t even know needed work. He keeps a clean, inviting studio and is warm and friendly. The massage provided a combination of relaxing and clinical which has left me feeling good for weeks.
Parking in his neighborhood is a little competitive. But you can get over it.

I’ve been going to Michael for about a year now, averaging about once to twice a month. I’ve been wanting to post a review for quite some time now. Finally I got a chance.
I enjoy massages immensely and have been to a number of professionals in the past few years. I have to admit that Michael stands out among his peers. I’ve been getting his 60 min therapeutic massage. This past weekend, I tried a 90 min session that started out with a personalized one-​on-​one yoga session. This was my very 1st yoga session ever! Michael knew exactly how to go about my introductory yoga session to make it a pleasant, educational and a rewarding experience!
His massages are addictive! I was impressed from the 1st massage that I received from Michael to this day. It’s a treat for me and I look forward to my sessions every other week or so.
Michael is very intuitive, very experienced, pleasant and most professional. I will continue going to him for various types of sessions.

Of Michael’s two offerings, for my first visit I decided to book the Wellness Ceremony, and will no doubt book a stand-​alone massage in the future.
It was a very opportune time to see what Michael offered through the Ceremony. A massage, combined with the other experiential elements, and a unique connection, was perfect timing for events in my life.
Michael’s sense of Self is obvious in his words, and the experience he has crafted. There was very little verbal communication, and I left the session with a sense of inner calm, as he offered an invitation to reconnect with the world from a truer place each time I go out into it. That one piece of wisdom, spoken at the very end, resonated so deeply — that alone was worth the visit.
I would not pass up the unique opportunity that Michael has waiting for you.

I recently had a Wellness Ceremony (I believe it was called); in that session I was bathed prior to the massage. The bath was the basis for a physical and emotional cleansing as it turns out. I felt lighter and more relaxed than usual for 5 days. Never had this before but think that I am spoiled and will never go back to just a regular massage. I have been a student of Asian healing therapies for 28 years and think this is a very viable stress treatment. I hope to see him again before the months out.

I am a fellow massage therapist, so I know what I’m looking for when it comes to a great massage! Michael was so warm and inviting and enjoyed every minute of the massage. I suffer from back and neck pain, and Michael addressed all my trigger points, from head to toe. He’s very knowledgeable and professional, as well as attentive to his clients’ bodies. I look forward to trading massages with him on a regular basis!

Michael is great. He’s wonderful at identifying problem area (back and hip for me) and is able to work them out while being alert to your sensitivities. Michael is very kind and has a very calming nature. His studio is clean and peaceful. The whole experience left me relaxed. I will be back.

Michael’s Asian inspired home studio is neat and tidy and the massage table had clean comfortable linens. Soft music played while he intuitively massaged me with the right amount of strength and firmness. (Im a fan for a good sports massage). He’s a likable fellow but won’t bore you with conversation preferring to let you relax. I hit the zone and nearly fell asleep. Definitely will be back
