I have 10 years of accounting and finance experience, with 7 years focused on external and internal audit. I served as the Assistant Controller at a manufacturing plant while undergoing an SAP implementation and as a Special Projects Lead working with Brazil on IFRS implementation, SAP automation of clearing cash transitory accounts and consolidation of entities in SAP from a general ledger perspective.

I have global experience through my most recent roles at Monsanto, including a very strong knowledge of Foreign Corrupt Practices Act compliance and monitoring programs and hands on experience implementing IFRS.

Absolutely no follow up for the past month. Found a job posting yesterday by this RH firm that matched my qualifications. Applied via the posting. Called in and spoke to Gaby again. She said she couldn’t find my resume. Emailed my resume directly to her, and before I could say another word she immediately dismissed my candidacy. Did you even read my resume??? Told me the client is looking for biopharma background when the post said the client is in tech. Tells me I’m too junior. That’s fine. The post should’ve been more detailed as to how many years experience was required. Then she tells me she’s going to transfer me to one of her teammates to better assist me, but lo and behold I get hung up on. An honest mistake perhaps? Well, I called back only to find that I’m getting the runaround between the operator and Gaby’s answering machine. Unprofessional. You’re messing with someone’s livelihood here. Just wish you could at least be honest if you don’t have the sincerity to help.
