Specialties

Our ever-​changing craft beer section features close to 400 beers at any given time! We’re constantly getting new seasonal brews, rare releases, and new breweries. You can find beers from many well-​known breweries and many from breweries you may never have heard of!

Kegs available upon request.

We also specialize in single malt whiskeys, bourbons, tequila, and specialty spirits. In particular, the bourbon section has a number of items you can’t find just anywhere. We’re continuously on the hunt for new and rare releases to add to our collection of whiskey, bourbon, and scotch.

Our large wine section features many local California wines.

We also have the largest Kosher wine and Spirit selection in Northern California.

If you ever have any questions our small, friendly staff is extremely knowledgable and always happy to give you advice or feedback. If there’s ever something you’re looking for that we don’t have, let us know and we’ll track it down for you!

When you want a Lottery ticket, you can’t go wrong here. I honestly didn’t look at their alcohol selection, but they sold me my losing PowerBall ticket in no time at all!

Absolutely a royal find at Royal Liquors! I was looking for great craft beer, they gotts it all. Wanted a great Glenlivet Nadurra, couldn’t find it at Bevmo, they gotts it! I’m a new fan. It’s always good to have a handful of smart craft brew stores to call on. I’ll be back for a royal craft at Royal Liquors! But hey, don’t tell everyone, we don’t want them runnin out of the finest before we get there.

These guys are awesome! I am a big beer geek, and I find a ton of rare items with these guys time and time again. They are super nice to talk to, offer a great selection, and the most reasonable prices on hard-​to-​find beers.
I would highly suggest visiting Royal Liquors first if you are looking for something that no one else can get.

My go to store for anything liquor. A great variety of liquors and hard to find bottles at competitive prices. The staff has always been friendly and very helpful. They haven’t tried to sell me the most expensive bottle whenever I have asked for s recommendation, just honest opinion and recommendations.

This place was pretty cool, I stopped by here looking for a beer that was sold out at the 2 Bevmos I checked today (Anderson Valley Pinchy Jeek Barl Bourbon Barrel Aged Pumpkin Ale).
The store owner asked me if I was looking for something specific and I told him, he had me come around to a secret (refrigerated) room in the back and pointed me to exactly where it was.
And the price seemed like it was a little bit cheaper than Bevmo also!

Where were you hiding, Royal Liquors? One of my go-​to shops for craft beer was closed so I came here & pleasantly surprised by their beer selections! There are a lot of options, and some are aged already which is like hitting a gold mine. Just found dogfish head /​victory /​stone, saison du buff, from June 2014. I’m assuming people around here aren’t interested and patrons who come for the craft beer come across town like me :)
The cashier showed us the beer cave/​cooler which made us feel part of a secret club with exclusive beer access privileges. It’s actually extra inventory they couldn’t fit in the front, but still cool. They have occasional tastings but apparently it’s too much work. I wish I can organize it for them!

Great selection of beers, wines and Liquors. Always a friendly face there to help you with your selection if you are being indecisive.
On Fridays, they sometimes have specials and tasters on newer products. Sometimes even some free swag!

Great beer selection. I drove 15 minutes, rather than 1, as this place carried the beer I just discovered. And, they had another beer I thought I’d never get again. My new find. Wine selection is meh…

Royal Liquors has an amazing selection and knowledgable, friendly staff.
I have purchased hard to find cachaca there after tasting it for the first time in Costa Rica.
They also have a great selection of kosher wines and spirits usable on Passover for the subset of the spirits enjoying community for whom that applies.

Went to Royal liquors for the first time today. It was a great experience. As a big Whiskey (bourbon) fan, i loved to see a large selection of both cheaper and higher end bourbons available. It was also exciting to see some whiskeys that are very difficult to find on a regular basis.
The craft beer selection was also on point with a choice of some harder to find beers that most Bevmo’s do not carry.
The customer service was also very good. very friendly and knowledgeable, more of a friendly environment rather than a retail environment. Needless to say, i’ll be paying them many more visits!

LOVE this liquor store. The guys that work there are super knowledgable of their beer selection. Located right next to Grocery Outlet and Mizu sushi. Every time I am in there I am impressed with a new beer they’ve got. Prices are good. The store is clean and super organized. Highly recc beer drinkers to frequent this spot! Just had the grapefruit sculpin they stored in the back, amazing. Check this place out!!!

This place right next to Grocery Outlet has a mondo craft beer selection! I was really surprised and was told many of them are a random selection from their distributor! Yes! They sell that many mini brews and crafts! Check it out one wall is layers high on rows of brew!

Friendly service! My girlfriend and I happen to check out a bunch of liquor stores that sold craft beers. This one by far had the best options and also had a back area that carried more beers than what they showed in front. My girlfriend was looking for a Chocolate Rain by The Bruery for her boss. And, this place actually had it in a combo pack. She was excited to find a beer that her boss was actually looking for… I also asked if they had any Pliney Elder and he actually sold me a bottle that he was holding for someone else. Thanks again Royal Liquors!

My message back to the store after they claimed that what I said «never happened» and that they saved the bourbons for regular customers and that I was not a regular customer:
«Hi,
I understand I was never promised anything. I never said I was promised anything from you guys. But I was told that the bottles were first come first serve.
Your explanation sounds like you had a private list of regular customers that you were saving the bottles for, which I was never informed of.
I would have loved to be a frequent, regular customer of Royal Liquors. I spent about $ 100 or so at your store in the 2nd half of 2013 and I was hoping to give you more business in the future.
If I was told from the beginning that there was a group of „regular customers“ who would have preference to the rare bourbons, I would have tried to establish myself as a regular customer.
But the fact that you did tell me it was „first come first serve“ and then quoted me the price of $ 299 for a bourbon with the MSRP of $ 90 was absolutely unacceptable and why I will never be back in your store again.»

So glad I found out about this place!
When I’m hankering for some craft beer, this is the first place I go. What do they have? TONS! Some easy to find, some hard to find… and all the greats in between. If you’re looking for Pliny or Enjoy By, this is the place that’ll have it. But also check out their Facebook page for great new beers — they’re always getting new tasty beers. They’ve recently remodeled their shop and have an awesome expanded craft section. If you’re not that into beers, they’ve also got a tremendous selection of wines and liquors… but hey, I’m a beer guy: tons of Stone beers (including some hard to find collaborations), Firestone Walker Velvet Merlin, Clown Shoes, El Segundo, and some great Knee Deep such as Hop Shortage (hard to find in some places). AWESOME!
Lately, they’ve started doing beer tastings — for $ 10, you can get some great information about 4 – 6 beers from local breweries. Sometimes they even bring in some distilleries!
All in all — looking for great beer? Check this place out!

My reviews in 2013 are going to be more focused on service than ever because I believe in this internet shopping day and age, good service will be what sets physical shops apart. Don’t mistake this 5-​star review as being equal to other 5-​star reviews: this is strictly relative to liquor stores.
The place is clean and very well organized. We peeped our rum options and picked a few out, but wanted more information. The cashier called David over and he gave us very honest, sensible input about the flavors of each rum. Clearly well-​informed.
Beer selection looked good, though they didn’t have bottled Foster’s (they did have cans, at least). They had Bohemia’s which are usually a pain to find, among other less common selections.
It’s still a liquor store, and it’s still in a sort of janky little strip mall, but that was pretty easily the best service I’ve ever gotten in a liquor store. Royal Liquors gets the nod.

They have an awesome bomber size beer section (behind the freezer), and if you’re nice, they’ll show you this selection.
