Teresa Chang is the founder of Samaritan Advanced Healthcare. She is a California certified acupuncturist who combines her passion for people with her advanced knowledge in Chinese Traditional medicine.

She opened her own acupuncture clinic to provide another avenue through which quality of life may be improved. She hopes to show her patients how acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine can help rebalance the mind and body bringing a healthy, happy wellbeing.

Teresa Chang is an devoted acupuncturist who desires to aid her patients in seeking a balanced, healthy lifestyle and well-​being. Through a variety of Eastern medicine techniques, she hopes to bring a different perspective to the standard traditions of Western medicine.

Specializing in health and beauty, Teresa works with women of all ages. As an active line dancer and hiker, she hopes to be a resource for all women by providing acupuncture techniques that enhance beauty such as weight management and facial rejuvenation. Her field, however, is not limited to health and beauty as she also has training and practice in pain and management.

Teresa has an outgoing and enthusiastic personality that is always ready to help anyone in need. She is constantly searching for volunteer opportunities and internships in order to help enhance her own training as well as benefit others.

This was my first time ever getting acupuncture and I can’t wait to go back again!
The ambiance and atmosphere of the office is very comfortable and welcoming. While I was a bit nervous at first, Teresa was incredibly professional and attentive to each of my main concerns. The entire process was painless and relaxing and I came out feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
I highly recommend going to see Teresa if you want to experience high quality healthcare.

Thanks to El Nino and the rain, I feel the pain again — chronic rheumatic pain. So with that said, ACCUPUNTURE! Thanks for Debbie and Theresa last time, when the name was still Lighthouse Accupunture, I am back again!
Again, I called in around 4pm, and they were able to take me in at around 6pm that night. Look at what they did to me! Anyways, it worked, no more pain, until the next time. Thank you Debbie and Theresa! Highly recommend!

After traveling for a few weeks and sleeping on different beds every few nights, I began to develop shooting lower back pain. When I got back to the states, I decided to make an appointment here. I had gotten acupuncture before for back pain so I figured I would give it another try.
The receptionist was very good at working around my schedule. Making an appointment was quick and painless. They even checked to make sure my visits were covered by my insurance. When I came for my appointment, they were very punctual and began my appointment at my scheduled time, which in healthcare is extremely rare. Teresa took a thorough history and somehow knew that I had just recovered from a cold. Teresa’s technique was impeccable (needles usually make me nervous), but I didn’t feel the needles at all when she put them on various places on my body. She even did some cupping technique on my back that opened up more blood and lymphatic flow so my cold wouldn’t come back.
Since my appointment, my lower back pain has been reduced by over 80%. I have another appointment next week so I’m crossing my fingers ill soon be pain free for good!
I was very impressed by Teresa’s professionalism and empathetic attitude. Make an appointment here if you want a good experience trying alternative medicine. You won’t regret it!

She was not just treating the problem areas, she was analyzing what caused the pain and discomfort. By addressing the right areas, she helped reduce my back pain. I felt 60% better after just three of her treatments. Her # 1 mission is to help patients (she actually cares and wants to help) and she dedicates as much time as needed.
