Samba Conmigo is a Brazilian dance company established in the bay area with the most beautiful, talented and amazing looking samba dancers.

We deliver energetic, happy and colorful Brazilian samba shows accompanied by samba/​batucada music play by live drummers and musicians.

Also provide, samba dancers on stilts and Fire dancers with live drummers.

Also join our sexy Brazilian samba lessons in groups or privates.

Samba Conmigo is a dance company established in the Bay Area (San Jose, Ca.) dedicated to promoting Latin dances but in special Brazilian Samba and afro Brazilian dances.

Johana was born in the Amazon. She grew up with the passion for music and started dancing from very little. Her first trophy in dancing was at the age of 6 years when she won 1st place in a dance competition at school.

Later she became a National Champion in Folk Dance from the Amazon and a champion in Afro-​Peruvian dance.

Today Johana is a professional Latin dancer and Instructor.

Johana is for sure a Natural Dancer as much as a Natural entertainer. She has a great personality and very optimistic.

Johana also holds a degree in Mass Communication and Public Relations.

We hired Johana and team to perform at our son’s wedding. It was a surprise performance for the bride and groom and the wedding guests and it was fantastic! They really got the guests moving and dancing and made the wedding reception even more fun. The guests couldn’t resist dancing with them and the energy continued even after they were gone. Johana stayed in touch with us during the whole process and worked with us about performance details and costumes (amazing!) and really wanted to be sure that we were getting the kind of performance we wanted. The girls perform with professionalism and elegance and obviously take a lot of pride in their performances. I can’t say enough good things and would highly recommend them!

Let me just say that these girls bring the party to the party! I hired this wonderful group for my 50th bday and they brought it to a whole new level. They are true professionals all the way. Beautiful, fun, energetic, sexy, and incredible dancers. These women are trained professionals and they can dance! I read her bio and Johana is a champion dancer from Peru, along with other women who majored in dance at Universities, trained in Samba dancing, and more. They take their job very seriously, and do it with flare and elegance. Thank you Johana and all your girls for helping to make my 50th one to remember! :)

I was looking for 2 samba performers for my husband’s birthday party and found Samba Conmigo. Johana returned my call the same day and was very patient with explaining performance details, costume and dancers choices. From talking to her, I was assured Samba Conmigo was a great choice!
On the day of the performance, Johana and Tica were amazing! They are truly professional dancers who love what they do. Their costumes were stunning (just like from Brazilian carnival). More formal banquet turned out to be a true party because guests couldn’t resist dancing with girls. Their energy and smiles were contagious. Not only the guests filled up the dance floor in minutes but dancers were encouraging taking pictures and gladly posed with guests. It was so much fun! Johana and Tica stayed with guests even longer than a contact specified and wrote wishes in a guest signing book. Such a personal approach!
After the party, guests were thanking me for an incredible show and great time.
Thank you Samba Conmigo for this excellent performance! I will definitely recommend you to anybody who will needs samba performers.

Ever since I visited são paulo, brasil a few years ago, I became so obsessed with the food and culture. It‘s been 5 years now since I visited… I‘ve always wanted to do samba and found johana through Unilocal and let me tell you, she‘s very professional and patient. I prefer rio style (on your toes) over the other one. Unfortunatly, I was able to attend only 1 class for I think $ 60? Samba works with your butt, legs, hips, and back posture… all the places where I want to work on. Great workout and don‘t worry if you‘re slow with choreography like I am. Johana will try her best to teach you the moves and eventually, you‘ll be moving your hips like a pro. I really wish I was pro. Obrigada.

If dance is your workout of choice and you are bored with Zumba, then you MUST take Johana’s Sexy Samba class! Never have I ever experienced an instructor with SO much energy and talent, it is infectious and so is her smile!
Johana will have you feel sexy, relaxed, and laughing the whole time. The dance itself is also an AMAZING cardio and leg workout. I myself have noticed improvement in my posture and definition in my leg muscles.
Johana also offers the opportunity for amateur students to learn choreography and perform! I recently performed with the group for SF Carnaval Parade and had an AMAZING experience and feel all the more confident and beautiful as a result.
I also know that Johana and her sexy Sambistas offer performance services in beautiful showgirl bikinis and feathers.

I’ve being in Johana class several time and I can tell that she is very professional at all the location where she taught. She is very dedicated and make sure to follow a schedule so everybody in the class get a full advantage not only dancing but making sure that the students get a full workout.
You can see her passion for dancing because her classes are always full, which not only is a good promotion for her but for the studios that she teaches at.
Johana not only teaches but she performs with her group for several events, from weddings to big festivals around the Bay Area. She is a professional and delivery the true meaning of Brazilian Samba not only to the students but to the general public at every event.

I’ve seen Johanna’s dance team performances several times in the last year or so.
They perform at local salsa events in the SF Bay Area quite regularly. Most recently i saw them at the SF Salsa Congress last November.
Her dancers are exceptionally talented. Their costumes are really something to see.
I highly recommend their colorful high energy shows.

Johana is a GREAT samba dancer and offers samba classes for a variety of skill levels. From the very beginner samba steps to the advanced performance level samba moves.
I guarantee you will have a blast and get an awesome workout. Even if you have two left feet or can samba your heart out, you will have fun in her samba class.
She teaches at two conveniently located studios, both with floor to ceiling mirrors, fantastic smooth floors, and good sound systems.

It was my great opportunity to see the samba dance first time in my life. I am very very impressed with their dance. Its always little to appreciate their art and performance so I highly recommend to watch them live and feel the real real and amazing samba dance in Bay area.
