San Jose Copies

Hours posted here on Unilocal are incorrect. Saturday Sunday by appointment only per a tiny sign on the door. Too late to tell me now, anyway traveled here.

Terrible. Unappealing. Neglectful. Appalling.
This is one STINKY FISH, GUYS!!!
(1) The address on Unilocal ISN’T CORRECT. I am pretty sure they moved to 109 Santa Clara, since the 11 3^rd Str. store is completely closed and there’s a huge sign that says «We’ve Moved.»
(2) I called to ask if they could print out photos from a USB. The older, male employee answered Yes on the phone.
(3) I parked right in front of the store after finding the new location on a whim. Who has the time to slow down on busy 3^rd Street in downtown San Jose and read the «We’ve Moved» sign?! I come inside and it is… SHADY! Place looked completely unorganized– random P.O. boxes, random used merchandise for sale in display cases, one dinky looking copy machine, etc. It looked like a hobbyist’s basement, not a business.
(4) Older, Indian male employee acknowledges my existence after a few minutes of me waiting patiently. There is one guy before me. The employee busts out a blueprint map in front of the guy and starts talking about building plans for somewhere else– doesn’t sound like a patron of his copy business! I’m like «WTH?» The employee asked what I wanted and I said I needed copies from a USB and he just kinda goes «Oh.» I stand there for another five minutes while the employee chats away with this seemingly construction guy?
HOW EASY WAS THAT?! If San Jose Copies doesn’t want my business, that’s fine by me! I had enough of the ridiculous rudeness and literally walked out the door. The employee didn’t even lift his head up to speak to me or even acknowledge that I was headed towards the door. I guess they just don’t want REAL BUSINESS cause you know, I was a REAL CUSTOMER. Great job, San Jose Copies… NOT. Cause you ignored and neglected me, BOO!

sami was very good with making my copies and service was prompt. as long as i am in san jose i will go to him. very nice guy

This is the worst shop, they charged us for print material, came back with huge print error, did not attempt to resolve their mistakes and did not reprint a corrected copy. We are taking them to small claims court to get our money back, the owner Mohammad never takes the time to talk to clients, resolve issues or ensure accuracy. We made our order almost a month ago for print material that was to be ready in 4 days. Save your self money and a headache do not do business here.

I’ve been coming to Sami for years. He’s been downtown for years, but recently this year he moved to a new storefront. Just recently refilled on some business cards and he was quicker than I expected. Always good prices.
